  • PRESS RELEASE

Henry Schein Krugg S.p.A. - Via dei Lavoratori, 7 - 20090 Buccinasco (MI) Italia

Important innovations at the Henry Schein Krugg stand

at the Amici di Brugg Congress

Milan, May 08 2014 This year too Henry Schein Krugg, the leading distributor of dental materials

for dental practitioners and dental laboratories, will be present with its high profile stand at the

Amici di Brugg Congress in Rimini to meet customers (HSK: Pav. AC7, lanes 3-4, stand 19-24-25-

30-120-121). From 22 to 24 May, 2014, Henry Schein Krugg will be displaying its latest products.

The stand will be divided into three areas: consumables, large equipment and Connect Dental , the

    real novelty for 2014.

Connect Dental is a so-called umbrella brand, an all-comprehensive solution that allows to monitor

and help practitioners and dental laboratories towards the future of digital dentistry. Connect Dental

encompasses a wide range of products, services and many other solutions. Worth highlighting at

the Connect Dental stand in Rimini are the brand new Cam products for the VHF (a leading

German company) laboratory and two new model-acquiring scanners for the Italian high-tech

company Open Technology. In order to guarantee its clients high-level service, training and update

programs, Henry Schein Krugg will be starting from Rimini its collaboration with CABELPIU', a

leading Italian company specialized in CAD/CAM systems for laboratories (CABELPIU' for the

past 5 years has been the exclusive distributor of VHF products). Connect Dental, which is already

successful in several European countries, is now being launched in Italy for Henry Schein Krugg

customers. Henry Schein Krugg is already present in the dental practices with their own solutions

such as High Tech 3D CBCT systems, lasers, microscopy and CAD/CAM systems, where it is

market leader in the distribution of CEREC chairside systems by Sirona.

Additionally, Henry Schein Krugg introduces EndoSequence. The bio-ceramics products which are

part of the EndoSequence line set new standards in the field of root canal fillings. The advantage

of bio-ceramic materials lies in their high biocompatibility and their robust chemical stability in

biological environments. Once used, they expand rather than contract. By binding to moisture,

which is naturally present in the tubules, they form hydroxyapatite thereby guaranteeing an

optimum bond between dentin and filling material. Bio-ceramic materials also offer the great

advantage of being antibacterial. The EndoSequence line is composed of BC Sealer, BC

Obturation System with bio-ceramic cones (EndoSequence BC Points) and Root Repair

    Material (RRM).

Another new product is Zirlux FC2: its high translucency zirconia system offers dental

practitioners an efficient and reliable method for producing monolithic zirconia aesthetic

restorations with a wide variety of possibilities, including 14 unit bridges. This exclusive system

provides 5 types of pre-colored zirconia discs and a matched coloring and glazing set. When using

these pre-colored discs and the coloring and glazing set, the orthodontist can create restorations in

  • all the 16 shades of the Vita (AD) scale and the Bleach colors. Liquid dye immersion is not required

at any stage of the process, thus enabling homogeneous aesthetic results. Zirlux FC2 is available

in 98.5 mm and 100 mm discs for laboratory milling. Equally suitable for the Zirlux FC2 discs is

the Zirlux LC ceramics system and the Zirlux LC pressed ceramic system. With Zirlux FC2,

Henry Schein is the exclusive distributor in Italy of a zirconia -based system for all aesthetic uses

    of ceramics.

We are pleased that we can present numerous product innovations to our customers. Last but not

least, customers will also be able to obtain information on the new Henry Schein Krugg services,"

says Riccardo Gandus, Managing Director of Henry Schein Krugg.
