Oyster Weave - Having the look and feel of real rattan, this proprietary weave creation was the result of dedicated time and effort. The material itself if a mix of polyethylene and UV inhibitors with no acrylic additives. Both the texture and coloration are achieved from the hands of an extrusion artist who intuitively adds the correct amount of pigment to the weave during precise temperature intervals in the production process. The weave coloration is infused throughout the core of the weave. The result is a beautiful, natural weathered weave material. All pieces of Banyan Bay are hand woven, strand by strand, by highly skilled artists. One chair can take more than a day to weave.

The natural patina will vary from area to area and piece to piece. Just prior to being packaged, a light coat of paste wax is applied. TUSCANY CAST ALUMINUM TOPS

Winston’s 17,500 square foot cast aluminum foundry is responsible for creating all of Winston Cast Aluminum table tops and furniture components. This department is staffed by 50, highly skilled employees. Having this facility on-site totally eliminates the need for relying on outside sources for cast parts. Pictured left are employees preparing to pour molten aluminum into the sand casting of what will become a cast table top. Winston produces “sand castings” which is a centuries old process. Sand casting accentuates the hand built nature of the furniture and adds to the sophistication and artistry of all of Winston’s cast aluminum furniture.

• Fine outdoor furniture deserves exceptional care. Winston furniture can be enjoyed for many years when well maintained. Wash the furniture with a solution of mild detergent and water, rinse with clear water and dry thoroughly. A clear automobile wax can be applied to smooth frame finishes to provide better protection against harmful ultraviolet exposure and salt air. DO NOT use any kind of wax, abrasive materials or strong detergents on Select finishes.

• To vinyl, strap and sling seating surfaces, apply a quality vinyl protectant to guard against the effects of air pollution, salt air build-up, and mildew growth. Wash outdoor cushions with a solution of mild detergent and water and thoroughly rinse with clear water. Allow cushions to air dry completely.

• For best protection, perform this maintenance two to three times a year, although these durable materials can be safely cleaned as often as desired.

• Light stains can be removed with a solution of mild detergent and water, rinsed with clear water and dried thoroughly. Mildew and heavy stains can be removed with a quality commercial outdoor furniture cleaner and protectant.

• Note: Some suntan and sun block products may be harmful to cushions, sling and vinyl and straps. Do not allow such products to come in contact with any seating surfaces to avoid deep penetrating stains, which are not covered under warranty.

• Do not steam or use water at temperatures above 100°F when washing.

• Note: Be careful to keep the cleaner from contact with the cushions of your Winston furniture, as it will cause discoloration. Do not use bleach on printed acrylic fabrics. Do not use solvent-type materials on woven vinyl, woven blend or ultra woven blend fabrics as they will damage the yarns. Do not use chlorine based cleaners.

Woven Vinyl FabricsWoven Vinyl fabrics are made from Weather Weave, an open weave, vinyl-coated, polyester fiber fabric. Weather Weave is similar to the material used in tire cord, bonded so it will not unravel if cut. Especially designed for outdoor use, Weather Weave dries quickly and can be left out in any kind of weather. Ultraviolet stabilizers have been added to inhibit fading, deterioration and mildew. Weather Weave fabric cushions will provide many years of outdoor pleasure.

Oyster Weave FabricOyster Weave is applicable to Banyan Bay, Belvedere Woven, and Southern Cay Woven.

Quick Cleaning - (1) Use feather duster or soft brush to wipe away dust or small particles. (2) Wash with clean water and wipe until dry.Extended Cleaning - (1) Dip a piece of soft cloth or clean sponge in mild soapy water. (2) Wipe over stained areas and wash off with clean water.(3) Wipe dry with a piece of cloth or leave in sun to air dry.Caution - DO NOT USE CHEMICALS OR POLISHING/WAX FINISHING PRODUCTS ON THE WEAVE FIBER.


Extruded Aluminum Frame – Fifteen Years If the extruded aluminum furniture frame fails structurally (i.e. broken frame or welds) within 15 years from the date of purchase, we will replace, repair or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Paint Finish – Five Years If finish blisters or peels within five years from the date of purchase, Winston will repair or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Vinyl Strap – Five Years If a strap breaks within five years from the date of purchase, a replacement strap will be sent directly to you, upon receipt of the broken strap, in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. If a strap becomes faded or mildewed within two years from the date of purchase, a replacement strap will be sent directly to you, upon receipt of the faded or mildewed strap, in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Fabric on Cushions, Slings and Umbrellas – Two Years If the fabric on a cushion, sling or umbrella tears, mildews or fades excessively within two years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace the fabric in the original color and pattern if available, or in a similar color and pattern if the original has been discontinued.

Umbrellas and Umbrella Bases – Two Years If an umbrella or umbrella base fails structurally within two years from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, repair or replace the umbrella or umbrella base, in the original color and style if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Woven Components – Three Years If a woven component fails structurally (i.e. broken frame, welds, or resin), or if the weave unravels or fades excessively within three years from the date of purchase, we will replace, repair or refinish the product in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Composite Table Tops – Two Years If a composite table top or copper top fails structurally within two years from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, repair or replace the table top, in the original color and style if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued. Some of the table tops have painted decorations which may fade when exposed to direct sunlight. This fading is excluded from the warranty. See other exclusions below.

Component Parts – One Year If a component part (glides, bolts, wheels, etc.) fails due to manufacturing defects within one year from the date of purchase, we will, at factory option, repair or replace the part, in the original color and style if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

Shipping If required, Winston will pay for shipping to and from the dealer (for frames) of damaged or replacement products for a period of three years from the date of purchase. If the product is warranted for a period of less than three years (fabrics, etc.) Winston will pay for shipping of the damaged or replacement product during the warranty period.

This warranty is a limited warranty, and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required. Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase. This is a residential warranty and does not apply to commercial use.

Note: Winston or its suppliers may discontinue any component parts such as fabric, paint, etc., at any time.

Winston reserves the right to determine whether to replace, repair or refinish and mode of transportation of authorized returns.

Exclusions Failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use, fire, freight damage, acts of nature (such as, but not limited to freezing or high winds), suntan oil or other chemicals, normal fading, scratching or chipping of the finish, fading, weathering or staining or discoloration of furniture, accidental damage repair or modifications by consumer, glass breakage, commercial use, normal wear and tear are excluded from the warranty. Steel furniture is not warranted against rust.

Winter Storage All furniture should be stored in an upright position to allow for proper water drainage. Storing furniture upside-down may cause water to accumulate and freeze inside the frame, causing serious structural damage that is not covered by the warranty.
