    The endorsement of the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas would be an honor. I have enjoyed thisendorsement in my previous elections both as a candidate and as the incumbent judge. I supportthe joint efforts of this organization to educate their membership and ensure that every personhas equal rights, especially through the application of the law.

    2. What are your plans to participate in a coordinated campaign in the generalelection?

    would e interested to e/plore the idea$ howe&er$ work diligently to apply the samerules and re uirements for e&ery litigant in&ol&ed in a case in the 200 th ourt. achand e&ery person must a ide y the same processes set out for the issues presented.,s a -udge$ it is my responsi ility to apply the law e ually to all people$ without regardto se/ual orientation$ race or gender. 4y door is always open to discuss how toimpro&e our court to anyone who has suggestions$ with the understanding that cannot

    discuss the specifics of any case.

    5. 6nderstanding that administrati&e matters can take up a significant percentage ofyour work day$ what are some ideas for policies or procedures that you think youcan impro&e court operations for the court which you are seeking office? What arethe most important policies or procedures you7&e identified as needingimpro&ement?

    t is true that the administrati&e matters take up significant time as a district -udge. #here are many facets to this position and ha&e ser&ed as the presiding family court

    -udge for the past two years to help ensure the family courts8 efficiency. We mustcoordinate our efforts with the District lerk8s 9ffice$ Sheriff8s Department andommissioner8s ourt$ for e/ample$ to ensure we ha&e the staff and supportingser&ices we need and that the systems work together. We ha&e to maintain highlyualified personnel in each department ecause each entity directly impacts thecourts.

    We need to continue to impro&e the paperless file system with the District lerk. #hesystem is more efficient when in working order ut can shut down the courts whenthere are pro lems.
