Suppor�ng certain amount of the tui�on fee for two of interna�onal freshmen (transfer students are not eligible) of Ewha Womans University who have both passed at least three semesters and completed level six of the Korean Intensive Program at Ewha Language Center.
Suppor�ng 50% of tui�on fees for the a�endees of the Intensive Program who receive the best grades in each level and re-register for the next semester.

Maximum 6 credits can be approved toward gradua�on credits for the students in their first semester who have been admi�ed to Ewha Womans University’s Bachelor program a�er comple�ng ELC’s Intensive program level 4~6.
ELC would issue Cer�ficate of Admission for those who need a D-4 visa. (This applies to those register for two or more semesters.)
※Textbook price(KRW 50,000 ~ KRW 60,000) is not included.※Any outstanding or excess amount will be balanced a�er the beginning of the semester.

It is a program opened by special request of interna�onal universi�es or ins�tutes, mainly provides communica�on-oriented Korean classes and various cultural experience ac�vi�es.
TOPIK Prepara�on Program is a special course provided for interna�onal students preparing for TOPIK test on behalf of university (undergraduate/graduate) entrance and job seeking.
Minimum 80% of total class a�endance and average score of over 70(over 60 per subject)If student passes Intensive Program, student may proceed to a next level automa�cally.

Language Center faculty offers counseling sessions to assist students with life in Korea and with their Korean studies.(English, Japanese and Chinese interpreta�on available)
Ewha Language Center offers various programs each semester for students tojoin, such as exhibi�ons and performances on tradi�onal and popular Korean culture. ELC also hosts cultural events like Korean Speech Contest.
Students may par�cipate in different kinds of clubs including dance club, hiking club, volunteering club. This provides students with opportunity to interact with students from different na�onali�es and to enjoy their hobbies.
Student tutors from Ewha Womans Universityare available to help ELC students learn Korean and understand life and culture of Korea.
Students in Intensive program and Short-termprogram may apply for the housing in the school dormi�ories on a first-come-first-served basis. (dormitory applica�on might not be available according to ELC’s condi�ons.)

『에센스 이화 한국어(Essence Ewha Korean)』 is the main course book series of the ELC's Korean Short Term Programs. Maintaining the features of 『이화 한국어(Ewha Korean)』, this series is composed for beginner learners whose learning period is not long to learn Korean more easily and entertaining. Moreover, in order to enable learner's efficient learning, grammar explana�on, new vocabularies, and cultures, English, Japanese and Chinese(Simplified, Trandi�onal) transla�on versions are provided.
『Ewha Korean』is the main course book series of ELC’s Korean language programs. This series is upgraded by reflec�ng the latest leading-edge teaching methodology in addi�on to communica�ve approaches and by targe�ng the reinforcement of the learners’ speaking skills.Moreover, in order to provide the beginning level learners with more convenience in learning, English, Japanese and Chinese(simplified/tradi�onal characters), and Thai transla�on were added.
