但願聖火今在我心，就已發旺不休；Oh that in me the sacred fire

Might now begin to glow!

燒掉所有卑情下品，Burn up the dross of base desire,

祢曾賜下祭壇火炭，求祢燒掉我罪；Thou, who at Pentecost didst fall,

我心要接鍛鍊的火，照亮我魂光耀；Refining fire, go through my heart,

散佈生命在每角落，Scatter Thy life through every part,

搖動的心求祢扶掖，使它變成堅崖；My steadfast soul, from falling free,
