Autumn Scene This is a fall day like I never saw! The air is still, almost of breathing free, but here and there are falling, without flaw, the finest-looking fruits from every tree. Life is hard – homework: comments on the films

You're supposed to talk about the poem and the film. And two sentences are not enough.I'd like you to do this work once again and a bit more seriously. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

The Stranger

• I like this poem because is has beautiful lyrics, and it is very serious. I love serious poems because they make me think about things. And this poem has been well transformed into a film. It has been translated very well, and it was easy to understand.

Nothing twice

• 'I don't really know, if I should like the poem or not. On the one hand I think the subject is a good idea, but on the other hand I don't really agree with the statement, that nothing can happen twice. In my opinion everything can happen twice when nothing happens twice, nobody could get a secound chance or something like that and I mean, who of you never ever had a déjà vue?'

Mid-Term Break• The poem “Mid-Term Break”, is a really emotional poem.

It’s about a boy whose younger brother was killed in an accident. The narrator Seamus Heaney wrote the poem in a special way, he used a lot of descriptive words and phrases, so that the reader is able to put himself in the position of the boy who lost his brother. There are a lot of catchy lines like the description of the little boy lying in his coffin: “Paler now, wearing a poppy bruise on his left temple.” From my point of view the saddest phrase was the last one: “A four foot box, a foot for every year.” This sentence is a clever way to say that the boy was four years old and I think it’s a good ending. In my opinion the text should touch everybody’s heart.

• In my opinion this video to the poem "We have time" has been well done. The music fitted perfectly and they chose the right pictures for the right lines in the text. I also liked the transitions between the different pictures.
