• 35And Jesus went throughout • all the cities and villages, • teaching in their synagogues • and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom • and healing every disease and every affliction.• • 35 耶穌走遍各城各鄉，• 在各會堂裡教導人，• 宣揚天國的福音，• 醫治各種疾病、各種病症。

• 36When he saw the people, • he had compassion for them, • because they were wounded and helpless lost, • like sheep without a shepherd.

• 36 他看見群眾，• 就憐憫他們，• 因為他們困苦無依，• 像沒有牧人的羊一樣。

• 37Then he said to his disciples, „• “The harvest is plentiful, • but the laborers are few;" • 38"therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the

harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

• 37 他就對門徒說：• 莊稼多，工人少；• 38 所以你們應當求莊稼的主派工人去收割

莊稼。

• II start with a picture 首先 一個圖畫 :A factory boss plants to leave the country with his wife for a year.He will leave back to sons.一位大工廠的主人和他的妻子必須到外國一年 , 但是他兩個兒子留在本國 .

• So he committed to his manager to main tasks: 他交給他的管家兩個主要責任：

• 1. The most important was to help their two sons to well finish their school education1. 最主要的責任就是看顧兒子的教育

• 2. The second most important task was to well mage his factory2. 第二個的責任 就是 好好的管理 工廠

• But … 但是 … ..1. When the school teachers informed the manager, that the two boy are not doing well, the manager to not really care, because he was busy with manyimportant other things such as his house building.當學校的老師報告 : 主人的兩個兒子必須補很多課 , 這位管家不關心 , 因為忙著建築自己的房子

• Even after the teacher send many other admonishing letters, he was to busy and forgot them.雖然老師很多次勸告兩個學生有問題 , 但是管家忘記他的主要責任且漠不關心

• The final result was, that bo0th sons has been expelled from that school.最後的結果兩個兒子不能畢業

• 2. When the factory ran in major problems, the manager did not care enough too, because he was still busy with building a house當工廠出了大的問題時 , 他也不關心 , 因為忙著建築房子 , 只顧他個人的事

• The final result: The factory had to be closed最後結果工廠必須關門

• What do you think will his boss say , when he comes back?

當主人回來時 , 他對管家會說什麼呢 ?

• Jesus gave us Christians a very clear most important task: To bring the Gospel to all people主耶穌 非常清楚給我們基督徒 一個最重要的責任 傳福音給萬民

• After his resurrection his word were this command.”So as my father sent me, I send you too”復活之後第一個句話，祂這樣命令 : 父怎樣差遣了我，我也怎樣差遣你們

• At his ascension the last word also was this command. 升天之前 最後的話 也是

• Sad to say, for 2000 year the churchvery often neglected this task ofpreaching the Gospel to all people, because the church often was busy with other things.非常可惜 2000 年以來 , 教會常常忽視這最主要的責任因為忙碌別的事

• The bible text given today willhelp us to and deeper understanding of the problem我們今天讀的經文幫助我們了解這最大的問題

Ths bible text can be divide in three sections 這經文能可以分為三個階段：

1. Use Jesus way to see people, and see the most important as important [Mt 9, 35-36第一 用主耶穌的方法看人 , 就是 看到主要的事為重要 [ 馬太 9-35-36]

2. See the biggest problem: God”s harvest is huge, but there are not enough workers.[Mt 9.37第二 看到最大的問題 , 就是為神收莊稼的工人太少 [ 馬太 9:37]

3. Our most important task as Christians [ Mt. 9, 38第三 我們基督徒最主要的責任就是 : 去收割

主耶穌要收的莊稼 [ 馬太 9:38]

1. Use Jesus way to see people, and see the most important as important]

第一 用主耶穌的方法看人就是看主耶穌重視的事為重要 Mt. 9, 35 And Jesus went throughout

all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues

proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction

馬太 9: 35:

耶穌走遍各城各鄉，在各會堂裡教導人，宣揚天國的福音，醫治各種疾病、

各種病症 。

• Why did Jesus go to every town and every village?為什麼主耶穌 [ 走遍各城各鄉 ]

• His goal was to seek all the lost sinners因為祂的目的就是 [ 救迷失的罪人 ]

• For that reason he wanted to proclaim the Gospel too every body所以祂要 [ 宣揚天國的福音 ] 給所有的人

• All we Christians have this huge task

To bring the saving Gospel to all people, to all tribes, to all lang

uages我們基督徒也有這個大責任 就是傳福音給 所有的人

給各民各族及說 各種語言的人

• At that day Jesus did great signs andhealed many ill people of their deseases.那天主耶穌 醫治很多病人Lame people could go, beggars could work again.不可以站起來的人 起來走路 , 不可以工作的人可以再工作

• The people were very happy can very content聽眾都很喜歡且很滿意

• If we would have been there, we also would had big joy:“Today is a happy day, all problems are solved.”

假如我們在那裡 , 很可能覺得

[ 今天是很怪快樂的日子 , 因為所有的問題解決了 ]

The bible says: When Jesus saw the people, he had compassion for them聖經說 當祂看見這些許多的人，就憐憫他們

•In greek the meaning of “had compassion” is very strong: to be deeply sad and worried, as you see a terrible thing like thisto be so deeply moved by compassion, that the intestines will turn upside down. 按照希臘文 [ 憐憫他們 ] 的意思就是非常憐憫他們 , 好像看到太恐怖的事非常憐憫就像腸子很不舒服

• Why did Jesus not enjoy that day but was so deeply sad?為什麼主耶穌不喜樂且那麼難過呢 ?

The bible says: When Jesus saw the people, he had compassion for them聖經說 當祂看見這些許多的人，就憐憫他們

• Why did Jesus not enjoy that day but was so deeply sad?為什麼主耶穌不喜樂且那麼難過呢 ?

• Yesus hat that deep compassion with the poeple, because he {saw them}主耶穌那麼深刻憐憫他們

• 因為 [ 祂看見 ] 他們就是 [If Jesus sees people, he does not only see the outside, but also their inside real condition不只看他們的外表 ]而是 [ 看他們的內心裡面的情況 ]

• And their real condition was terrible就是 非常恐怖的情況

• Jesus saw their real condition. What did he see?主耶穌看他們的真實情況 , 怎麼樣呢 ?

• They had been wound and helpless lost like sheeps without a shepherd,[ 他們困苦流離、如同羊沒有牧人一般 ]。

• What does this mean [like sheeps without a shepherd]?[ 沒有牧人的羊 ] 到底有什麼意思 ?

• Without a shepherd sheeps will go astray , and will be attacked by wild animals…沒有牧人的羊很容易迷路沒有牧人的羊很可能被可兇惡的動物咬死

• At that time like sheeps without a shepherd] mens to be lost and die.那時在以色列國 沒有牧人

的羊一定滅亡

• Jesus saw, that that many peole were in a terrible condition所以主耶穌看這許多人是非常可憐的

• In fact their body has been healed, but spiritual they still were lost people.雖然他們身體得醫治了但是屬靈上 , 他們還是滅亡的人

• In fact they have been Jewish and they had the bible, but their heart was very far from God.雖然他們是猶太人而且有聖經但是他的心還是離神很遠

• Jesus saw, that that many peole were in a terrible condition所以主耶穌看這許多人是非常可憐的

• In fact their body has been healed, but spiritual they still were lost people.雖然他們身體得醫治了但是屬靈上 , 他們還是滅亡的人

• In fact they have been Jewish and they had the bible, but their heart was very far from God.雖然他們是猶太人而且有聖經但是他的心還是離神很遠

• They still fogivness of their sin. But they did not understand,that they needed Jesus as savior他們 還許要罪的赦免 .他們還不了解他們需要主耶穌作他們的牧人與救主

• The modern man strongly reject this comparison with a helpless sheep. The abibilty of a shepp to help itself is smaller than of other animals. They more easily go astray, can not quickly flee and can not defned itself.現代的人很反對討厭這個 [ 羊的比較 ] 他們認為 羊自救的能力比其他的動物還少因為很容易迷路

且當仇敵攻擊它 , 無法保護自己

• The modern man misunderstands, that contrary to a sheep he with his reason can find the right way to live. 他錯誤的以為人有理論 , 能找到好的路能自救

• In fact through his reason man can built astonishing things like airplanes, computer etc.事實上現代人以為藉這理性能做大事

• But in terms of [fighting the sin] ,He is indeed helpless like a sheep without shepherd.

但是關於 [勝過罪 ] 與 [找到對的生命路 ]

他與羊同樣 , 無法自救• Some picture of

• In fact through his reason man can built astonishing things like airplanes, computer etc.事實上現代人以為藉這理性能做大事

• But in terms of [fighting the sin] ,He is indeed helpless like a sheep without shepherd.

但是關於 [勝過罪 ] 與 [找到對的生命路 ]

他與羊同樣 , 無法自救• Some picture of

our time proof this. 一血現代圖畫證明這事

We Christians have two big problems我們基督徒有兩個大的問題

The first is, that we see the people not as Jesus sees them第一就是我們沒有以主耶穌的眼光來看人 Often we see only the outside, but overlokk the real, inside ccondition常常我們太重視他們的外表看不到他們真實的情況

That means, we don not see, what Jesus sees as most important, that is [to be unsaved is the most terrible problem of people]就是看不到主要的事為主要看不到 [ 人不得救贖 ] 是最大最恐怖的問題

• The 2nd problem: We lack Jesus love, therefore do not have deep compassion with the lost第二問題 [ 我們缺少主耶穌的愛 ] 所以 無法真的憐憫滅亡的人

• In fact we know, that the lost are on the way to hell.雖然我們知道很多人走向地獄的路

• But we do not enough car for this, ware are not movend inside, we don’t have real compassion, because we do not have the love of Jesus to the lost.但是我們不夠關心 , 也不夠被感動 不是真的憐憫他們， 因為不夠深刻去愛他們

• The 2nd problem: We lack Jesus love, therefore do not have deep compassion with the lost第二問題 [ 我們缺少主耶穌的愛 ] 所以 無法真的憐憫滅亡的人

• In fact we know, that the lost are on the way to hell.雖然我們知道很多人走向地獄的路

• But we do not enough car for this, ware are not movend inside, we don’t have real compassion, because we do not have the love of Jesus to the lost.但是我們不夠關心 , 也不夠被感動 不是真的憐憫他們， 因為不夠深刻去愛他們

• 因為不夠愛滅亡的人 , 就太輕視這極大的問題卻是 太重視自己的小問題

• 例如當一個基督徒 失去 5, 000 元 , 這個問題使他很難過 比人滅亡更難過

• 當我們的飯不好吃 , 我們很可能看這個問題 比人滅亡更重要

• 我們必須效法主耶穌 , 就是因祂的大愛重視人滅亡的問題勝過我們個人的問題 因為我們最大的問題會得到解決 而且我們的未來 主耶穌一定有很好的安排

• Because we do not love enough the lost, we take their problem too light and see the own small problem as the bid.因為不夠愛滅亡的人 , 就太輕視這極大的問題卻是 太重視自己的小問題

• Examples 例如We we loes 5000 NTS, that makles us more sad than that lost people die 當一個基督徒 失去 5, 000 元 , 這個問題使他很難過 比人滅亡更難過

• If our small things do not succeed such as making a good food, this moves our heart much more than that lost people die and are lost for ever.當我們的飯不好吃 , 我們很可能看這個問題 比人滅亡更重要

What do you feel, seeing these people? Envy?

當看這些人 你的感覺怎麼樣 ? 忌妒嗎 ?

Jesus sees them as lost sheep. 主耶穌看他們是迷失的羊

2. See the biggest problem: God”s harvest is huge, but there are not enough workers

第二 看到最大的問題就是 收神大莊稼的工人太少

37Then he said to his disciples, „“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;„.[ 太 Mt 9.37]

於是對門徒說 :要收的莊稼多，作工的人少 Here compare Jeus the lost with a [harvest}

這裡，主耶穌將 [滅亡的人 ] 跟 [ 必收的莊稼 ]比較

•Why? 為什麼 ?

• There are three couses 有三個原因• 1st. For the farmer the harvest is precious, a

nd for God every man is very precious

第一 莊稼對農人很寶貴 ,有高的價格每個人對神非常寶貴 God wants, that every man get the chance to be saved.神要每個人有機會得救

st, the harvest will be lost•第二 當沒有人收 [ 必收的莊稼 ]他一定滅亡If we Christians not lead people to the Lord, they will be lost.

•當沒有信徒傳福音給 非信徒，他們一定滅亡

• The Bible says in Romans 10,13For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14But how are they to call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15And how are they to preach unless they are sent? 羅馬書 10;13-16 很清楚說

13 凡求告主名的，都必得救。 14然而 , 人還沒有信他 , 怎能求告他呢？ 沒有聽見他， 怎能信他呢？ 沒有人傳揚， 怎能聽見呢？ 15如果沒有蒙差遣，怎能傳揚呢？

• If we do not spread the Gospel, people will go lost.

當我們沒傳福音 他們滅亡 !

• The third reason: To bring in the presoius harvest, many helpers are needed.第三 為了收寶貴的莊稼 ,必有很多人幫助 Therefore at harvest time the whole farmer’s family must help.所以農夫家中每個人都必須幫忙Likewise to bring God harvest all his family members must help, that is all we Christians.同樣為了收神更寶貴的莊稼 每個屬於基督家的人都必須盡責任

• The fourth reason: In the harvest time, the harvest has priority before all other activites, because the harvest must brought in

in limited time.第四 當要收莊稼的時候 收莊稼的責任 ,比其他的事都更重要 其他的是次等Likewise the first task for us Christians with the mhighest priority must be [To bring in God’s harvest.同樣，基督徒第一個與最主要的責任

就是動手幫助 [ 收神更寶貴的莊稼 ]

• When Jesus preached this, on the earth lived been only 200 millon people主耶穌講道的時候 地球上有 2 億人口

• Today we there live 6 billion people目前有 60 億 人口

• Among them are 2 billion Christians, and at least 200 Million are real saved Christians中間有 20 億 基督徒[ 最少有 2 億真的基督徒 ]

• So, there are enough helpers for the harvest: Every saved Christian has to bring the Gospel to 30 unsaved only.所以做工的人應當夠 : 只要每個真的基督徒傳福音給 30 還沒聽過福音的人 就好了

Is this too much?太難嗎 ? 並不是 !

• No, it only need all 2000 Million Christians doing their task:

只要基督徒願意行動就可以完成

HERRNHUT 路德教會[1727 年有 300 信徒 , 1760 年 有 1200 信徒 ]但是 1727-1827 年 差派 1289 位宣教士 到外國用心的話語傳福音假如其他的教會效法他們做工的人不少但是目前… 200.000.000 真的基督徒 只差派 100 000 宣教士傳福音用別的話語 [比率 2000:1]

台灣 300 000 基督徒 差派宣教士傳福音用別的語言 [ 不用中國話 ] 很可能不到 30 位 [比率 10 000:1]

這樣 做工的人 當然太少

Is this impossible? 這是不可能的事 ?No, the church of HERRNHUT is a proof不是 ,HERRNHUT 教會 事 證明This church 1727 had 300 member, 1760 1200 member only.[1727 年有 300 信徒 , 1760 年 有 1200 信徒 ]But 1727 to 1827 this small church sent out 1289 missionaries to many far countries and many tribes and languages.但是 1727-1827 年 差派 1289 位宣教士 到外國用心的話語傳福音If today all church would follow this example, all mankind could be reached with the Gospel in 10 years.

假如其他的教會效法他們做工的人不少

3. Our most important task as Christians [ Mt. 9, 3]第三 我們基督徒最主要的責任 就是 幫助為了能收主要收的莊稼

37Then he said to his disciples, „“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;" 38"therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”[ 馬太 9:38] 要收的莊稼多、作工的人少 所以你們應當求莊稼的主、 打發工人出去、收他的莊稼。

• To bring in God’s harvest is every Christian’s first taks with highest priority收神寶貴的莊稼 一定是每個屬於基督的人 第一個最大的責任所以是每個基督徒最大的責任

• Why do we Christians neglect this important task so much為什麼我們基督徒很少管理第一個責任呢 ?

• 1. Because we oversee the important thing因為我們輕視這主要的事2.We love the lost too less, are not enough moved by compassion for them 太少愛即將滅亡的人 , 太少憐憫他們3. We love and care for us to much too egoistic愛自己太多 , 太自私

• 4. Our heart is to hard, and is not willing to really submit to God.我們的心太硬 , 很難順服上帝

• How can this problems be solved?如何能避免這些問題 ? 有一個辦法就是：

•The answer: Pray and ask Go, that he move people to go out禱告求神 打發工人出去、收他的莊稼 ]

• The greek text do not say sent out, but [ekballo}, that means to throw out, to push out, to drive out[ 打發 ] 工人出去 希臘文說 [ekballo]就是 [ 趕出去 ,扔出去 ,throw out]Why do Jesus use such a hard word為什麼呢 ?

•He kew how hard is is for us, to got out an bring

• the Gospel to the lost.因為我們基督徒是 那麼不容易願意走出去

•The first step to sumbit to God’s command is the pray, that God may sent out workers所以第一步驟就是 [ 求神打發工人 ]

•The second step is, God will sendthem out and will send you out. 第二個步驟就是 [ 求神打發我們 ]

• Therefore it is dangereous to ask Go for workers. He may sent you所以 [ 求神 打發工人 ] 雖很危險卻有大效果

• Are you willing to pray this prayer every day? 我們願不願意每天都如此禱告呢 ?

• Are you willing , that the Lord may send you我們願不願意被神來差遣我們 ?

•Are you willing to make the Great command your first priority我們願不願意以主耶穌大的使命 為我們第一的責任呢 ?

• In the beginningg of the sermon was a picture a a manager, who neglected his 2 main tasks:在前面例子裏面主人交給管家兩個主要責任

• 1. The frist task was to care for the kid’s school education最主要的責任就是 看顧兒子的教育

• 2. The second task was to manage the factory第二個的責任就是 好好的管理工廠

• The manager neglected these tasks and later was fired by his boss但是他不夠關心

• Jesus gave us one big commission, that is 主耶穌交代給我們的責任就是

If we obey Jesus and his great commission,we reach the goal of our life and we give glory to God.當我們順服主耶穌的命令我們達到生命目標而且歸榮耀 給神
