    14 UE procedures related to Sidelink

    A UE can be configured by higher layers with one or more PSSCH resource configuration(s). A PSSCH resourceconfiguration can be for reception of PSSCH or for transmission of PSSCH. !he physical sidelin" shared channel

    related procedures are described in subclause #$.#.

    A UE can be configured by higher layers with one or more PSCCH resource configuration(s). A PSCCH resourceconfiguration can be for reception of PSCCH or for transmission of PSCCH and the PSCCH resource configuration isassociated with either sidelin" transmission mode # or sidelin" transmission mode %. !he physical sidelin" controlchannel related procedures are described in subclause #$.%.

    A UE can be configured by higher layers with one or more PS&CH resource configuration(s). A PS&CH resourceconfiguration can be for reception of PS&CH or for transmission of PS&CH. !he transmissions of PS&CH accordingto a PS&CH resource configuration are associated with either sidelin" disco'ery type # or sidelin" disco'ery type %.!he physical sidelin" disco'ery channel related procedures are described in subclause #$..

    !he physical sidelin" synchroni*ation related procedures are described in subclause #$.$.

    +or a UE transmitting PSCH the transmit power of PSCH ( PSCHP ) is same as the transmit power of primary

    sidelin" synchronisation signal PSSSP .

    A UE is not e,pected to be configured with PSCCH resource configuration(s) such that in a gi'en subframe the totalnumber of resource bloc"s across the resource bloc" pools (as described in subclause #$.%.) indicated by the PSCCHresource configuration(s) e,ceeds -.

    /f a UE uplin" transmission in subframe n0# of a ser'ing cell o'erlaps in time domain with sidelin"transmission1reception by the UE in subframe nof the ser'ing cell then the UE shall drop the sidelin"transmission1reception in subframe n.

    +or a gi'en carrier fre2uency a UE is not e,pected to recei'e sidelin" physical channels1signals with different cyclicprefi, lengths in the same sidelin" subframe.

    +or a gi'en carrier fre2uency in a sidelin" subframe if a UE has a sidelin" transmission the sidelin" transmission shalloccur only in contiguous physical resource bloc"s.

    14.1 Physical Sidelink Shared Channel related procedures

    14.1.1 UE procedure for transmitting the PSSCH

    /f the UE transmits SC/ format on PSCCH according to a PSCCH resource configuration in subframe nbelonging to aPSCCH period (described in subclause #$.%.) then for the corresponding PSSCH transmissions

    3 the transmissions occur in a set of subframes in the PSCCH period and in a set of resource bloc"s within the setof subframes. !he first PSSCH transport bloc" is transmitted in the first four subframes in the set the secondtransport bloc" is transmitted in the ne,t four subframes in the set and so on.

    3 for sidelin" transmission mode #

    3 the set of subframes is determined using the subframe pool indicated by the PSSCH resource

    configuration (described in subclause #$.#.$) and using time resource pattern ( TRPI ) in the SC/ format

    as described in subclause #$.#.#.#.

    3 the set of resource bloc"s is determined using 4esource bloc" assignment and hopping allocation in theSC/ format as described in subclause #$.#.#.%.
