Subject: “Clean Power Plan” 1. Provides a list of people to contact for information. Steve Cox and Keith Craig for our local. 2. Taken from EPA fact sheet: Nationwide, the Clean Power Plan will help cut carbon pollution from the power sector by 30 percent from 2005 levels. Power plants are the largest source of carbon pollution in the U.S., accounting for roughly one-third of all domestic greenhouse gas emissions. The proposal will also cut pollution that leads to soot and smog by

b) Letter from John K. Craig (International Representative, IBEW Tenth District)i. Subject: Medical Benefit

1. Attend meeting about medical benefits2. Concerned about Health care in the future3. Mostly deals with construction side, they have insurance4. LU 365 did not send a representative because our insurance is locked in

c) Grievance Update from Don Griffith, Electrician BRFi. Subject: Grievance filed on behalf of Matthew Carver, Electrician BRF and Don Griffith,

for improper shift change1. Has been denied by BRF Management2. Griffith has requested information from BRF Management3. Will be appealed to Labor Relations

d) Grievance Update from Chris Foerstner, UO BRFi. Subject: Grievance filed by Chris Foerstner for Disparity of Treatment on punishment

received after a unit trip on a startup.1. Jerrod Smith gave summary of grievance hearing

e) Grievance Update from Shawn Smith, IM BRFi. Subject: Grievance filed by behalf of Bill Baggett, IM BRF, for improper shift change

1. Smith has requested paperwork from BRF Management2. Extra reset was asked for until November 2nd, 20153. Debra Johnson, HR BRF, apparently was confused. Did not know two other

grievances were filed concerning this4. BRF Management did not approval from Union to shift change and stated they

had the right to shift change as they see fit.5. Was waiting for response from Mike Easley, BRF Ass. Manager

10) Accidents, Sickness or Death of Members 1. Darrell White, SBO BRF, still out of work for medical reasons.2. Rusty Rolen, Electrician Greenway, has been sick

12) New Business a) Don Griffith brought up the constant use of contractors by BRF Management.

Steve Cox stated that International will have to fight it Will have to follow General Agreement Discussed Article 6 of General Agreement A explanation of “Work of a similar nature”

b) Upcoming Wage Negotiation: Steve Cox, Jeff Daniel, Jerrod Smith, Bobby McCowan, and Shawn Smith will attend the meeting at the TVA Towers, December 9th -11th, 2015.

13) Good of the Union a) Jerrod Smith won Door Prize

14) Receipts and Expenses a) Jeff Daniel was reimbursed for Loss wages for attending grievance hearing at Bull Run on

October 27th and November 2nd, 2015.

15) Closing a) Meeting was closed by President Steve Cox, BA, at 8:49 pmb) Next Meeting will be held in Knoxville at LU 760 on December 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm
