REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE COLLECTION

As you know we have had almost 36 inches of snow so far this winter. We recently purchased a new snow blower which has helped remove snow from the property quickly. Each snowstorm we have 6 to 8 workers helping and we have used more than 3,500 pounds of salt to make our area safe. Remember, we need to remove snow from the chapel, rectory, main church, convent and school! Next Sunday’s second collection will be used toward on going snow removal and supplies. Please be generous.

ENGLISH CHARASMATIC PRAYER GROUP

Approximately 20 people gathered at our first meeting last Saturday. Remember that the group will meet every Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the convent chapel – entrance on Whitney and Judge. All are welcome to attend.

MATRIMONY GROUP This Sunday our Matrimony group will meet in Heafey hall at 2:30 p.m. The gathering is in Spanish and includes lunch, a spiritual talk and sharing.

MAT FLOW GROUP The Mat Flow Group now takes places every Monday beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Heafey Hall (room under the chapel church). Everyone is invited to attend – if you don’t have a mat we will provide one for you. We pray; we do yoga exercises and we have lots of fun. Open to all men and women of the parish 18 and over.

VOCATION COMMITTEE Our vocation committee offered a evening of prayer last week and many people attended. Please continue to pray for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We especially pray that our own young people will generously hear and respond to God’s invi-tation of service in the Church.

DIVINO NINO DEVOTION We invite everyone to attend our new Divino Nino group which will have its meeting and mass on

the SECOND Tuesday of every month. The first prayer meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 18 at 6 p.m. in Heafey Hall. Following the meeting we will have mass at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel. TAX TIME Our parish is blessed by the generosity of so many parish-ioners who give money each week for the upkeep of our buildings and the support of our mission here in Elmhurst. COLECTA DE REPARACIONES Y MANTENIMIENTO

Como todos saben hemos tenido más de 36 pulgadas de nieve durante este invierno. Recientemen-te hemos comprado un aventador de nieve el cual nos ayudado en eliminar nieve de la propiedad rápido. Cada tormenta de nieve tenemos de 6 a 8 trabajadores ayudándonos y hemos usado más de 3,500 libras de sal para que todos estén seguros. ¡Acuerden que tenemos que eliminar la nieve en la Capilla, Casa Parroquial, Iglesia Principal, el Convento y la Escuela Parroquial! La segunda colecta del próximo domingo se usara para las nevadas que se esperan, su eliminación y las provisiones necesarias. Favor de ser generoso.

Aproximadamente 20 personas participaron en nuestra primera reunión el sábado pasado. Acuerden que el grupo se reunirá cada sábado a las 6:30 p.m. en la Capilla del Convento – entrada por Whitney y Judge. Todos están invitados a participar.

GRUPO MAT FLOW El Grupo Mat Flow ahora tiene lugar cada lunes comenzando a las 7:30 p.m. en Heafey Hall (sótano de la Capilla). Todos están invitados a participar – si no tienes un tapetito le podemos proveer uno. Nosotros oramos, hacemos ejercicios de Yoga y gozamos muchos. Hombres y mujeres de la parroquia mayores de 18 años de edad pueden participar. COMITE PARA VOCACIONES Nuestro comité para las vocaciones ofreció una noche de oración la semana pasada y muchos asistieron. Favor de continuar en sus oraciones para el aumento de vocaciones al sacerdocio y la vida religiosa. Oremos especialmente por nuestros jóvenes para que escuchen por el llamado y respondan generosamente a la invitación del Señor para el servicio a la Iglesia.
