Children in Need

Happy Diwali to all our families who celebrated Diwali this

week. This week in Reception we have been learning about

Diwali, the Hindu, festival of lights. We learnt the story of

Rama and Sita and even acted it out together using masks,

some children were excellent at role playing the 10 headed,

demon Ravana. We used clay to make and decorate our own

divas to light and decorated our own rangoli patterns. We

have been thinking about how different people celebrate in

their own religions and cultures and sharing our celebration

experiences.

Happy Diwali!

We all have

different opinions This week's assembly and collective worship

theme was 'We all have different opinions.’

Some of our Year 7 pupils came down to

perform little skits about how we all have

different likes and dislikes.

These skits taught us that it's okay to be

different, and we all agreed that our

differences make us special.
