7.0 RESEARCHS OUTCOME

QUESTION 1: How are continuous writing exercises help improving pupils memory and

understandings?

Teachers teaching practice should be improved in terms of quality in teaching and learning

process to get optimum outcomes that have been set. It is undeniable that a teacher will face

several problems during the teaching process in class. Some problems that occur sometimes are

due to the teacher himself. Some of the problems that may occur during the teaching and

learning process are pupils lack of interest, tendency to forget and comprehend the content of

the lesson learned. Therefore, action research is one of the medium used to identify the roots of

the common problems and to find effective ways to encounter them.

I have faced a matter where pupils are troubled in memorizing and understanding the

content of a lesson. This situation proves that my approaches havent reached the goals as the

pupils are still having problems in repeating and understanding the content of the lesson. I found

out that questioning the pupils as a stimulating variation at the end of the period is less effective

as it only lasts for two days even though the method is appropriate and qualified. Wcontinuos

writing exercises is then practiced in class and through this method; pupils are able to memorize

vocabulary whilst writing the given vocabulary. Specialized book is used as a medium for this

exercise.

A positive outcome is resulted when the exercise is proven to help pupils in memorizing

the vocabulary excellently. The recitation is maintained until next chapter of the lesson. For

instance, according to Marchs result, only 28% of the pupils were able to memorize 5 to 6

vocabulary for each topic. Then, after the continuous writing exercises are done, the percentage

increased to 47% and amazingly increased to 74% overall. This has shown a positive results and

improvement. Thus, it is clear that the continuous exercise is reliable as it can improve pupils

memory in Arab Language subject.

Question 2: How are continuous writing exercises help pupils in completing their

homeworks?

Homework is one of the things that dont attract pupils at school. However, homework can

benefit a pupil when he/she is at home. Besides, it educates a pupil to be more responsible

towards the trust given to them.

During my practicum at school, I have given homework to my pupils. The results are,

only 60% of the pupils are able to complete their tasks. 30% of them didnt complete the tasks

and the other 10% faced problems like forgetting about the tasks or simply dont have books.

During my efforts in handling 30% of the pupils, Ive used continuous exercises as a method to

facilitate them in completing the homework given. Affectively, pupils are common to the

question or tasks given and it has eased them in completing their homework. It is because, the

pupils have been given continuous exercises and they memorized the vocabulary easily.

Besides these, the pupils also like to ask questions regarding the content of the lesson as

they are excited when they are able to answer the question given. This is because the method

used has made the pupils to memorize and understand the content of the lesson clearly. Hence,

the pupils are able to connect their lessons to their everyday life indirectly.

Question 3: How is continuous writing exercise stimulates pupils involvement in teaching

and learning process for Arab Language?

Teaching and learning would be more interesting if we can stimulate or attract pupils interest in

involving or participating in Arab Language preachments. The method of continuous writing is

hard at first. For instance, there are several pupils who are irresponsible in taking care of their

books. It is probably because they thought that the books are less important. On the other hand,

advises and rewards have made them change and complete their tasks.

Stimulations to pupils start when a competition is sensed between the pupils in class.

Almost all of them show the nature of competition in order to keep themselves from falling

behind. The results from the competition have made this continuous exercise a fun deal for the

pupils.

Question 4: What are the benefits gained from practicing continuous writing exercises?

In enhancing pupils amount of vocabulary, continuous writing exercises can also improve

pupils writing skills besides improving their memories. This superiority clearly is valuable to

pupils as it train them to write better continuously. At the same time, this continuous writing

exercise will ensure that the pupils can write excellently by stressing the neatness, lines and dots.

Besides, the result gained from doing the exercises can avoid the pupils from doing

continuous mistakes. For example, putting dots on a word/phrase can simply change the original

meaning of the word. Moreover, wrong linings to words also influenced the mistakes.

Other benefits is like giving confidence towards the pupils in memorizing and writing the

vocabulary correctly. When a writing test is done, pupils wont be facing any difficulties or feel

nervous in answering the questions given and they can surely answer the question well.
