Operação Verão 2010, realizada na praia de Ponta Negra contou a participação da ONG Navima, Ibama com parceria da Guarda Municipal

Ambiental, Prefeitura de Natal além do apoio do Projeto Semente Cidadã da Zona Norte e o grupo Bate Lata, da Vila de Ponta Negra.

A campanha buscou sensibilizar banhistas e turistas chamando atenção para o lixo produzido nas praias urbanas e a poluição marinha.

Operation summer 2010, held in Ponta Negra Beach featured the participation of NGO Navima, Ibama with partnership of the Municipal Guard, Municipal Administration of Environmental Natal, in addition to the support of the Seed Project Citizen of the northern zone and the Group Bate Lata, in the village of Ponta Negra.

The campaign sought to raise awareness among bathers and tourists calling attention to the waste produced in the urban beaches and marine pollution.
