hing Ming Festival and Ghost Festival, and its origin is from Japanese worshiped frustrated spirits. The word ‘’Bon’’ of Bon Odori Festival explained as season or seasonal. The main purpose of Bon Odori Festival is that respecting and dancing happily tighter. Welcome ancestor’s souls to return to the world, letting quicks and dance together. Besides, they go to the temples to worship in memory of ancestors now, this festival has already become Japanese maintain cultural emotion’s pleasure day.

Bon Odori Festival’s dates are varied from every states, but it usually falls in July or August. Fans, hats, and sickles totally are indispensable the items that they celebrate on Bon Odori Festival. Bon Odori, as the name implies, dancing is the most important of all on this festival.

Bon Odori Festival is also Japanese traditional circle dance, it classified four kinds what we called ‘’large Tokyo’’, ’’Hanagasa’’, ’’Carbn Hohn Lang’’, and ‘’Tokyo music’’. Others including singing, clapping, along with drums, gongs, and flute; sometimes it may attach to traditional Japanese sanxian.

During the festival, Japanese children and their own wear beautiful summer cotton yukata and Japanese clogs, attending to this. Japanese usually hold Bon Odori in middle of July.I think that Japanese Bon Odori Festival is very important festival to the locals. However, I find not only Taiwan but also Japan has temples, but only serving different gods. Their celebrating way is very special, if I have an opportunity. I want to try it. Besides, I want to wear summer yukatas and clogs, too. I feel it so cool.
