Accounting
Foundation Apprenticeship in Accounting Level 2 Accounting apprenticeships enable you to learn on the job whilst developing your knowledge and skills. The Foundation Apprenticeship aims to provide you with a basic level of accounting and finance skills which you can utilize in the workplace. You will develop skills in finance admin, double entry book keeping, basic costing principles and purchase, sales and general ledgers. Aimed at accounts assistants/ clerks, cashiers, credit control clerks, finance assistants, purchase ledger clerks or sales ledger clerks.
AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting Units:
Processing book keeping transactions
Working effectively in accounting and finance
Basic costing
Control accounts, journals and the banking system
Computerised accounting (Assessed through computer based exams) Successful candidates will also achieve the following qualification:
Foundation Apprenticeship in Accounting
Recommended Time in Framework
The recommended time to complete the Foundation Apprenticeship is 10 months.
Course Delivery
The training is delivered over a series of one-day workshops along with 2 hour monthly assessor visits in the workplace
