Kristen was born on September 14, 1988. She’s exactly six years older than me, so she’s 22. She’s a few inches taller, and has light brown hair that goes to about an inch past her shoulders. Her eyes are green, unless she wears a bright blue shirt and then they are blue. When she’s sick, I can always tell because they turn gray. She never paints her nails, and they’re always short. She’s been playing the violin since she was three, so it helps to have short nails. Kris was the first person in my family to come to Gray Stone. She played for the soccer team all four years, she was on the mock trial team all four years, and she and Johnna Herron won the State Championship for Moot Court. So far, they’re the only ones from Gray Stone to have done it. When Kris graduated from GSDS, she went to Pfeiffer and graduated with a major in math in June. Before school started, she and I watched the Blade series and Star Wars. Whenever she is home now, we go to the Salty Caper in Salisbury to meet up with Matt, who is one of her friends. Kris is really just fun to be around. I mean, we fight; we’re sisters! But, that’s just it. We’re sisters. She needs help and I try to make sure she has it. She’s never too tired to text me and ask if I need help with Algebra, or see if I’m on Skype and just want to talk for a little while. When I was about ten, she taught me how to play Halo, and she helped me work out the kinks when I was first learning to be a violinist, too. She always helps with my chores when she is home so that they get done faster and we can go play something. When she’s not with me, she talks to her boyfriend, or plays with her kitten, or she really does, she’ll just take a nap if she’s bored! But that’s Kris, and that’s why I love my sister.
