Hello AIESEC United States!

My name is Jessica Yam. I am from AIESEC San Luis Obispo, and I am your Organiz ing Committee President for this year's Summer Nat ional Conference. I am extremely honored and excited to have been given this opportunity to lead a team of wonderful individuals who are just as exc ited as I am to deliver an experience that wil l mot ivate YOU to help cult ivate the change in AIESEC United States.

As you begin to prepare for our tr ip to San Jose, I ask that you all keep in mind of all the achievements that we have made in this past year. I mean shoot, recently, we were able to beat the odds and raise 30 iGIP TNs in just 24 days, which ult imately led to having Hans shave his head bald. This of course, is just one big accomplishment that we have made this past year, and obviously there are so many more that we have all contributed to. However , there is also so much more that needs to be done in order to prove our potent ial as AIESECers in the United States. With that being said , for all of you who are attending SNC , I ask that you br ing an open and dr iven mind to act ively part ic ipate in sessions to ensure that you leave with the most memorable and impactful experience.

This conference wil l act as a platform to not only benefit AIESEC , but also yourself. We wil l also use this conference to build a collaborat ive and strong network in order to facil itate in our cont inuous efforts to become global leaders who love to empower others. In the end , it is up to you as to what you want this conference to mean to you. Remember, you had the decis ion to attend, and thus you have the decis ion to use this opportunity to start a conversat ion to spread the impact of "peace and fulf i l lment of mankind's potent ial."
