The Mujaddid of the era, Imaam al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) stated in the introduction to his

book Hukm Taarik us-Salaah [The Ruling on Abandoning the Prayer], (Riyadh, KSA: Daar ul-

Jalaalayn, 1412 AH/1992 CE, First Edn.), p.22:

“I gave a copy of it to our companion and student, the youth ’Ali bin Hasan al-

Halabee in order for him to prepare it for distribution along with an academic

introduction written for the benefit of the noble readers. And he did all of this, may

Allaah increase him in goodness and he supervised its publishing, authentication and

review.”1

Imaam al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) strongly defends Shaykh ’Ali bin Hasan al-Halabee al-Atharee,

saying, in summary, to the obtuse questioner who questions some things from Anwaar ul-

Kaashifah:

“You started with ’Ali and ended with Albaanee!? This is a proof that you are not

traversing the way of correct knowledge! You began with ’Ali!? So what did you

want when you began with ’Ali? So I ask you: what do you want with ’Ali? What’s

your question? May Allaah guide you! You’re talking about ’Ali not al-Albaanee?

You’re just following mistakes! How does it concern you if my student has

contradicted himself?!”

Then Imaam al-Albaanee ends the conversation saying to the questioner that he doesn’t waste

his time with those who have no knowledge and do not pay attention to the important issues!

So there you have it, enough said! Documented evidence, in written and audio format, from the

Mujaddid of the era (rahimahullaah) himself. �
