2. Flood Relief Fund 16th

August 2019

The student’s faculties and HOD’s of AMC Engineering College collected funds and articles required

for the flood affected people of Uttar Karnataka and Kodagu on 16th August 2019.

3. One student one tree - 13th and 14th August 2019

On 13th and 14th August 2019 at 4 PM opposite to AMC school premises, (AMC Engineering campus) One

student One tree was organized by NSS unit. All the Physics and Chemistry cycle students of 1st year actively

participated in the program.

4. NSS special camp (Arsikere) - 4th April to 10th April 2019

AMC Students had been to Arsikere as a part of NSS Special Camp held from 4th April – 10th April

2019. NSS volunteers worked in Arsikere to provide service to society without bias. Around 45 students

volunteered for the camp.

5. Voluntary Blood Donation camp - 28th

March 2019

Blood Donation camp held on 28th

March 2019 to create awareness and importance of blood

donation with main objective of ‘Blood Donation for Life Saving’. Students and faculties

participated in this program voluntarily. The Chief Guest for the event was Vice Chairperson

Mrs.GeethaParamahamsa, Paramahamsa Foundation Trust. Program was successfully organized by

Prof. Uma Shankar, NSS officer. Students and faculties involved actively in the program.

6. NSS volunteers at Bannerghatta jathra - 25th March 2019

AMC Students had volunteered for Swatch Bharath at Bannerghatta Jathra on 25th

March 2019. Around 50 students had volunteered.

7. Tribute for CRPF JAWANS MARTYRS (PULWAMA ATTACK) - 14th Feb 2019

Heart felt Tribute, Condolences for the CRPF Jawans was held on 14th Feb 2019. As a Token

of Respect, AMCEC contributed to the mother of CRPF JawanH.Guru for his sacrifice towards

the nation.

8. Plantation at Lalbhag through AIKYA on 29th

January 2019

AMC students volunteered for plantation of saplings at Lalbhag Botanical Garden on

29th January 2019. 50 students had participated.

9. Cleaning Lalbhag Botanical Garden after Flower Show - 28th January 2019

AMC students volunteered in Cleaning Lalbhag Botanical Garden after Flower Show on

28th January 2019. 25 students had participated.

10. Swatch Bharathat BG road - 1st October 2018

AMC students and staff had volunteered for Swatch Bharath to clean up the streets, roads and

infrastructure at BG road on 1st October 2018.Around 350 students and few faculties have participated

and volunteered for cleaning the Bannerghatta National Park Road.

11. Survey of Government School 29th Sep 2018

Survey of Government schools an activity set by the Institution in serving, educating

students on every topic free of cost. Faculties are training and creating awareness of

modern education to the children. The Survey was held on 29th Sep 2018 organised by

NSS Unit, AMCEC

12. Kerala and Kodagu flood relief - 8th August 2018

Kerala and Kodagu flood relief special program organised in college on 8th

Aug 2018 to donate as well

to give insight on the Incident due to global warming. Dr. T N Sreenivasa, Principal addressed all with

the impact of Environmental disaster happened to Kerala and Kodagu. Faculties and students were

present for the event and contributed for the relief fund.

13. Plantation Programme - 13th

April 2018

Plantation was organized in college campus on 13th

April 2018 with an Initiative to planting more plants

and to create awareness on Impact of plants to get rain and to keep environment cool. Program was

presided by Dr. T N Sreenivasa, Principal, Mr.Lalith Gowtham, Manager SBI bank, AMC branch

planted samplings. HOD’s, both teaching and non – teaching staffs were present

14. Go Green Initiative - 7th

April 2018

Go Green main event in Melange 2K18 held on 7th

April with Green Initiative raining concept and to

plant number of plants in college premises. Volunteers participated in the event. Programme was led by

Prof. Uma Shankar, NSS officer.

15. Ayurveda Workshop - 20th Feb 2018

An Ayurvedic workshop was conducted at AMC engineering college campus by Dr

Kamala Ayurvedic Hospital Bannerghatta on 20th February 2018.The main objective of

the workshop was to create awareness on how harmony between the body, mind, and

spirit is created, and maintaining this balance prevents illness, treats acute conditions,

and contributes to a long and healthy life. Around 100 students had participated in the

event.

16. Blood Donation camp - 7th February 2018

Blood Donation camp held on 7th February 2018 to create awareness and importance of

blood donation with main objective of ‘Blood Donation for Life Saving’. Around 180

students and faculties participated in this programme voluntarily. Programme was

successfully organized by Prof. Uma Shankar, NSS officer and Jayanagar voluntary

blood bank.

17. Donation for Orphanage-14th

August 2017

Donation for orphanage program was held in college and donation for orphanage was contributed by the

students and faculties of AMC engineering college, collected books, pens, pencils, clothes, blankets,

shops paste, biscuits distributed on 14th

August 2017. With moral concept of help as much you can all

faculties and students involved in donation.

18. Blood Donation Camp on 2nd

March 2017

A blood donation camp was organised by Narayana Institute of Cardiac Science and 300 units of blood

was voluntarily donated by our AMC volunteers on 2nd March 2017

19. Health Check-up on 30th

January 2017

Health check-up was organised by the Times of India Group for staff and students of AMC campus on

30th January 2017. Initiating good health maintaining for staff members around 250 members got

benefited from the event. Blood pressure check-up and other issues serviced on spot

20. Road Safety Awareness - 27th

September 2016

Road safety awareness programme was organised by The Road Transport Office of Electronic City at

AMC seminar hall on 27th

September 2016 and nearly 480 drivers of in and around schools and colleges

at Bannerghatta Road had participated in the event and benefitted with program objective.

21. Free Education to Students of Government Schools on all Saturdays’

NSS Unit of AMCEC volunteered to provide free education to students of Government Schools on

every Saturdays. The students belonged between Class III and Class IX. Many Faculties and students of

AMCEC had participated.

22. Blood Donation Camp - 5th

May 2016

Voluntary Blood donation camp was organized on 5th May 2016by Lions Club blood bank from Jigani

and had collected 146 units of blood. Around 150 students and 50 staff had volunteered for the blood

donation.

23. Campus Clean - 3rd

November 2015

Campus Cleaning organized on 3rd

November 2015 in college with objective ‘Keep Cleanliness in

Surrounding’ to create awareness about clean environment and the health issues due to improper

management of waste in campus. Programme was headed by NSS officer and around200 students from

all dept. participated in the event.

Blood donation camp organized on 1st October 2015 by Lions Club volunteer blood bank 4th Block

Jayanagar and had collected 165 units of blood. Around 200 students and staff had volunteered for the

blood donation

Nss volunteers at the government school to educate the school children’s on 24 November 2014 @ the adopted

Government school kalkare and bannergahatta Government school.

BANK Lions Blood Bank Shashadipuram) 230 units of blood was donated by amcec volunteers.

November 2014 the eve of international yoga day, NSS volunteers organized a campus cleaning

program by the student of AMCEC

On 13-6-2014 NSS volunteers of AMCEC organized traffic awareness program with association with

BANEERGHATA POLICE STATION all the final year students of all the branches participated in the traffic

awareness program

30. Campus Cleaning Program- 6-6-2014

On eve of WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY campus cleaning program was organized by NSS volunteers at 3:30 pm

0n 6-6-2014 all the students and faculties participated in the program and cleaned the campus.

MAY 2014

On 7th MAY 2014 blood donation camp was organized by the NSS volunteers of AMCEC in association with

Jayanagar Blood Bank (LION’S CLUB) at room no – 005 at main building from 10:00am -3:30 pm nearly 180 units

of blood was collected .

32. Campus Cleaning Program – 26th

January 2014

All the NSS volunteers of our Engineering College assembled at 9:30am in front of main building in the

presence of principal Dr T N SRINIVASA and NSS program officer Mr. UMASHANKAR , all the volunteers started

cleaning the campus for plastic free till 3:00pm

On 24 -january -2014 all the NSS volunteers assembled at main building staircase and cleaned the playground

from 9:30am – 4:30pm
