From the Most Precious Essence of the United Intent of the Long Life Practices: Here is Contained the Secret Practice of the Long Life, the Heart Pledge of the Vidyadhara Padmasambhava.

ཨ�་�་�་�ཱ་�་སི�་ི�༔ྃ OM GURU AYU JNANA SIDDHI HUM འཆ་ིམདེ་ཚ�་ཡི་�་�ག་འཚལ་ལ༔ོ I prostrate to the deities of long life. བདག་འ�་འཆི་མེད་པ�ྨ་འ�ང་གནས་ལ༔ མགོན་པོ་ཚ�་དཔག་མེད་པས་�ིན་བ�བས་ནས༔ �་མོ་ཙ�ྜ་ལི་ལ་དངོས་�བ་�ས༔ �ག་�ག་མ་ར་ཏི་ཀའི་གེ�་

ཚང་�༔ ག�ངས་མ་�་�མ་མ�་ར་བ་དང་༔ ཡབ་�མ་གཉིས་མེད་ཚ�་ཡི་�བ་པ་ཐོབ༔ ཚ�་�བ་དགོངས་འ�ས་�ིང་གི་ཐིག་ལེ་འདི༔ ཤིན་�་ཟབ་པའི་ཚ�་ཡི་ཏི་

ཀ་ཡིན༔ དབེན་གནས་ད�ིལ་འཁོར་མཆོད་�ས་ག�ང་དང་མ�ན༔

I, the immortal Padmakara and others like me through the blesing of the Protector Amitayusand Goddess Candali have attained siddhis. In the dwelling of the cave on the cliff of Maratika in union of male and female with the divine consort Mandarava I have achieved the Long Life siddhi.This practice of the heart essence of the unified enlightened intent of the long life is the most profound practice of the long life. In the secluded place arrange the mandala and offerings according to the scriptures. འདི་ལ་དམ་པ་ག�མ་�ན་དང་པོ་�ོར་བ་ནི༔

Practice begins with the first of the three Excellences 1: ན་མོཿ དཀནོ་མཆགོ་ག�མ་འ�ས་ཚ�་ཡི་�་ཚ�གས་ལ༔

namo kön chok sum dü tsé yi lha tsok la �བས་�་མཆའིོ་འ�ོ་ལ་སེམས་མཆགོ་�ེད༔

kyap su chi'o dro la sem chok kyé NAMO I take refuge in the unification of Three Jewels and the gathering of the long life deities I and generate bodhicitta for the benefit of all migrating beings. བགེགས་�མས་རང་�ལོ་བདེ་བའི་གནས་�་དེངས༔

gek nam rang dröl dé wé né su deng All obstacles are self-liberated by dissolution into into the state of bliss. འཇིག་�ལ་གཡོ་མེད་�ོ་�ེའི་�ར་�་�ར༔

jik drel yo mé dor jé gur du gyur Indestructible and Immovable (state of the Vajra) becomes the (protective)Vajra Tent.

�ེ་འཆི་གཉིས་མེད་རིག་པ་མཇལ་�ག་འཚལ༔

kyé chi nyi mé rik pa jel chak tsel I pay homage to the recognition of my own awareness that is beyond the duality of birth and death. འཆི་མེད་ཚ�་ཡི་�་ཚ�གས་�ིན་ཕོབ་ཅིག༔

chi mé tsé yi lha tsok jin pop chik May the gathering of the deities of the long life bestow their blessing onto me. �ོད་བ�ད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཚ�་ཡི་བ�ད་�ིར་�ར༔

nö chü tam ché tsé yi dü tsir gyur The vessel and the nectar (all universe and its inhabitants) manifests as the nectar of the long life. གཉིས་པ་དངོས་གཞི་ནི༔

Second, the main practice: �ཱཿ �མ་དག་བདེ་ཆེན་ཏིང་འཛ�ན་གསལ་བའི་དང་༔

ah nam dak dé chen ting dzin sel wé dang A From the utterly pure state of samadhi of the clarity of the great bliss �ེ་འཆི་གདོད་�ལ་རང་རིག་�ང་�བ་སེམས༔

kyé chi dö drel rang rik jang chup sem from the bodhicitta of my own awareness primordially free from birth and death �ིང་པོ་��ིཿཡིག་འོད་�ི་འ�ོ་འ�ས་ལས༔

nying po hri yik ö kyi tro dü lé manifests the essence syllable Hri. (Through the virtue of) emanating and re-absorbing the lights, �ང་བའི་ངོ་བོ་མགོན་པོ་ཚ�་དཔག་མེད༔

nang wé ngo wo gön po tsé pak mé it transforms into the essence of the manifestation of the protector Amitayus. དམར་གསལ་ཞལ་གཅིག་�ག་གཉིས་�ིལ་�ང་བ�གས༔

mar sel zhel chik chak nyi kyil trung zhuk He is bright red with one face and two arms, sitting in the crosed leg posture, ལོངས་�འི་�ན་�ོགས་མདའ་དར་ཚ�་�མ་འཛ�ན༔

long kü gyen dzok da dar tsé bum dzin He is adorned with the complete ornaments of the Sambhogakaya, holding dadar and the long life vase. �ོང་ཉིད་པ�ྨ་གར་�ི་དབང་མོ་འ�ལི༔

tong nyi pema gar gyi wang mo tril He is united with the Queen of the Lotus Dance of Emptiness ཚ�་བདག་རིགས་བཞི་ཡབ་�མ་འཁོར་དང་བཅས༔

tsé dak rik zhi yap yum khor dang ché

surrounded by the lords of long life of the four families in union. རང་མདངས་མཚན་དཔེ་�ན་དང་ཆ་�གས་�ོགས༔

rang dang tsen pé gyen dang cha luk dzok they are perfectly adorned with self-manifested major and minor marks (of a buddha). འགག་མདེ་�ོང་གསལ་ཡེ་ཤེས་རང་འོད་བ�ོམ༔

gak mé tong sel yé shé rang ö gom Meditate (on that) in the state of uninterrupted, self-luminous wisdom of emptiness and clarity. �ན་�ེན་པ་ནི༔

Than, the invitation: �ྃ་��ིཿ�ེ་མདེ་བདེ་ཆནེ་པ�འྨི་ཞངི་ཁམས་ནས༔

hum hrih kyé mé dé chen pemé zhing kham né From the Lotus Realm of the Unborn Great Bliss འཆ་ིམདེ་ཚ�་ཡི་�་ཚ�གས་གཤགེས་�་གསོལ༔

chi mé tsé yi lha tsok shek su söl I invoke gathering of the deities of the immortal life. མ་འགགས་བདེ་�ོང་ཡ་ེཤེས་�ོང་ཡང་བ�གས༔

ma gak dé tong yé shé long yang zhuk འཇགི་�ལ་�ོ་�ེའ་ི�་ལ་�ག་འཚལ་ལ༔ོ

jik drel dor jé ku la chak tsel lo I pay homage to the indestructible vajra body of you who reside in the vast expanse of the uninterrupted wisdom of bliss and emptiness. གང་ཤར་རང་�ལོ་དག་པའ་ིམཆདོ་པ་འ�ལ༔

gang shar rang dröl dak pé chö pa bül I offer the pure offering of the self-liberation of everything that arises. འཆ་ིམདེ་ཚ�་དབང་�ོགས་ལ་�ག་འཚལ་བ�ོད༔

chi mé tsé wang dzok la chak tsel tö I pay homage to those who have accompished and perfectly realized the power of immortal life. ཡེ་ཤེས་ཚ�་མཐའ་ཡས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས༔

yé shé tsé ta yé la söl ba dep I pray to those who have the wisdom of the infinite life, �ེ་འཆི་རང་དབང་ཐོབ་པར་�ིན་�ིས་�ོབས༔

kyé chi rang wang top par jin gyi lop that I may be victorious over (the duality) of life and death. �གས་ཀར་�་�ེང་��ིཿཡགི་དམར་པོའ་ིམཐར༔

tuk kar da teng hri yik mar pö tar

�གས་�ོག་ཚ�་ཡི་�ིང་པོས་འཁོར་བར་བ�ོམ༔

tuk sok tsé yi nying pö khor war gom Meditate that in my heart, above the moon disc there is the the red syllable HRI, which is sorrounded by the essence of life. ཨ�་�་�་�ཱ་�་�་ན་སི�ི་�༔ྃ OM GURU AYU JNANA SIDDHI HUM ཞེས༔

Thus (recite). �ངས་ཚད་�གས་དང་�ང་ནས་གནད་�་བ�ན༔

It is important to endeavour in this visualization and recitation. ཚ�་ཡིག་ཡང་འ�གས་ནི༔

Than invoke with the syllables of the long life: ��ིཿ མཆགོ་ག�མ་�ལ་བ་�ས་བཅས་བདནེ་པ་དང༔

hri chok sum gyel wa sé ché den pa dang By the truth of the Three Jewels and the Vicoroius Ones and their Sons (Buddhas and Bodhisattvas), འཆ་ིམདེ་ཚ�་ཡི་�་ཚ�གས་�ིན་�བས་�ིས༔

chi mé tsé yi lha tsok jin lap kyi and by the blessing of the gathering of the deities of the immortal life བདག་ཅག་�་ཚ�་�ོག་ག�མ་ཉམས་པ་ཡང༔

dak chak la tsé sok sum nyam pa yang may our life-force, long life and life essence that has been damaged (be repaired). ངོ་བོ་�ེ་མདེ་ཆོས་�འི་ཚ�་གཡང་ཕོབ༔

ngo wo kyé mé chö kü tsé yang pop Bestow upon us the long life and prosperity of the Dharmakaya, the unborn essence! རང་བཞནི་འགག་མདེ་ལངོས་�འ་ིཚ�་གཡང་ཕོབ༔

rang zhin gak mé long kü tsé yang pop Bestow upon us the long life and prosperity of the Sambhogakaya, the uninterrupeted self -manifestastion! �གས་�་ེཚད་མེད་�ལ་�འ་ིཚ�་གཡང་ཕོབ༔

tuk jé tsé mé trül kü tsé yang pop Bestow upon us the Long Life and Prosperity of the Nirmanakaya, the infinite potentiality of the energy! �ེ་འཆི་གཉིས་མདེ་�ོ་�ེའ་ིརང་བཞནི་�༔

kyé chi nyi mé dor jé rang zhin du Through the (state) of vajra nature that is beyond the duality of birth and death, འཆ་ིབདག་བ�ད་ལས་�ལ་བར་�ིན་�ིས་�ོབས༔

chi dak dü lé gyel war jin gyi lop May I be victorious over the demon of the lord of death.

ཨ�་ཚ�་�ྃ་�ཱ་�་�་ན་�་ྃ�ི་ཛ༔ OM TSE DRUM AYU JNANA HUM NRI DZA གཡང་འ�གས་འདི་ལན་བ�ན་ནམ་ཉེར་གཅིག་སོགས་གར་�བས་བར་�་བ�ོད་དོ༔

This invocation of prosperity should be reapeted 7 or 21 times or as appropriate. ག�མ་པ་�ེས་�ི་རིམ་པ་ནི༔

Third, the closing stage: མ་�་ས�་པ�་���་ཛ་�་ཱ�་�་ན་ཁ་ྃ��་�༔ MAHA SARVA PANTSA PUDZA AYU JNYANA KHAM SVAHA ��ིཿ ཚ�་འཆི་མེད་ཚ�་ཡ་ི�་ག�ང་�གས་�་�ོད༔ hri chi mé tsé yi ku sung tuk lha tö I praise the body, speech and mind of the deities of the immortal life. ཚ�་�བ་�ན་འ�ས་བ�བས་པའི་�ིན་�བས་�ིས༔

tsé drup kün dü drup pé jin lap kyi Through the blessing of practicing this unification of all long life practices, �ེ་འཆི་གཉིས་མདེ་�ོ་�ེའ་ི�་�ར་ནས༔

kyé chi nyi mé dor jé ku gyur né May I accomplish the Vajra Body that is beyond the duality of birth and death ཚ�་ཡ་ིམཐར་�ིན་དོན་གཉིས་�ང་བར་ཤགོ༔

tsé yi tar chin dön nyi jung war shok and until the end of my life may the two benefits keep manifesting. ཅེས༔

Thus (recite). འཆི་མེད་རིག་འཛ�ན་�ོ་�ེ་འཆང་ཆེན་པོས༔ ཚ�ས་�བ་དགོངས་�ས་�ིང་གི་ཐིག་ལེ་འདི༔ �་གར་འཕགས་པའི་�ལ་ནས་བོད་ལ་བ�ར༔ གཡའ་མ་�ང་གི་

གནས་�་�བ་པ་མཛད༔ འཆི་མེད་�ོ་�ེ་�་�འི་�་�་བ�ེས༔ དེ་བཞིན་�ེས་འ�ག་བ�བ་ལ་བ�ོན་པར་མཛ�ད༔ གངས་ཅན་ཤར་�ོགས་མདོ་ཁམས་�ལ་

ད�ས་གནས༔ �ང་�ང་ནོར་�འི་ཡང་�ེའི་�ག་ལ་�ས༔ ཨོ་�ན་�གས་�ས་དགོངས་�ོང་�ཽལ་བའི་�ས༔ �་བའི་ཆོས་བདག་བ�་དང་ཉེར་�་སོགས༔

འ�ད་ནས་�ིད་ག�མ་�ོལ་བའི་དོན་�ེད་ཤོག༔ ས་མ་ཡ༔ �་�་�༔ གཏེར་�༔ �ས་�༔ ཟབ་�༔ གསང་�༔ གཏད་�༔ �་�་�༔

This practice of the Most Precious Essence of the United Intent of the Long Life Practices was practiced by the Immortal Vidyadhara Vajradhara (Guru Padma) who came to Tibet from India, the land of Aryas, in the hermitage of the Yamalung. Practiciones who will diligently practice this will realize the body similiar to immortal vajra. This was hidden in the center of the easter part of the land of snow in Do Kham, in the Lhang Drang, that is the jewel of the long life and prosperity. May the son who came out from the depth of heart of the (Master) of Oddiyana, one hundred and twenty five root dharma holders and others be liberated from the three spheres of samsara and benefit sentient beings. SAMAYA. GYA GYA GYA Treasure Seal. Hidden Seal. Profound Seal. Secret Seal.Entrustment Seal. འཆི་མེད་ཚ�་གཡང་�་མོས་བཀའ་འདི་�ངས༔ ཞེས༔

These words are protected by the Goddess of the Long Life and Prosperity (Tashi Tseringma). །�་�ལ་�ད་�ོན་པ�ྨ་བ�ད་འ�ལ་�ིས། །�ག་དཀར་�ང་�ང་ནོར་�འི་ཡང་�ེ་ནས། །རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཡི་ཤོག་སེར་�ན་�ངས་ཏེ། །ཆོས་བདག་�ཱ་གནས་ཨོ་�ན་

�ན་ཚ�གས་སོགས། །�ང་ཟིན་�ལ་�ན་མང་པོས་བ�ལ་བའི་ངོར། །བ�་རིས་གསལ་ལ་བ�ེན་ནས་ཟབ་པའོ། །ཡི་གེ་པ་ནི་བསོད་ནམས་མཐ་ཡས་སོ། །གཉིས་

�ང་འ�ལ་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་མ་�ས་པས། །རང་རིག་འཆི་མེད་�ོ་�ེའི་བ�ེས་ཤོག།།

The crazy mendicant Pema Düdül took out the yellow scroll from the place of Lhang Lhang Norbu in Drakar and to fullfill the desire the of the prophesized dharma holder Ogyan Phuntsog, who is the fortunate disciple,

deciphered the symbolic script. It was writted down by Sonam Thaye. May all beigs who are in the illlusion of samsara, without exception, accomplish their own self awereness of the Immortal Vajra! Note: 1. Threefold Excellence: 1.the excellent beginning of refuge and bodhichitta, 2.the excellent main part of the practice and 3. the excellent conclusion of dedication.

༄༅། །ཚ�་�བ་དགངོས་འ�ས་སོགས་ཚ�་�འི་ཚ�གས་མཆདོ་ནི།

Offering to the Gathering of the Long Life Deities of the United Intent of the Long Life and Others. ཚ�གས་�ས་གང་འ�ོར་རིམ་པ་བཞི་དང་བ�ང་པ་གང་�ང་བཤམས།

Arrange the suitable offerings of food and drink for the four stages of tsok.

རྃ་ཡྃ་ཁྃ་ རིག་པ་ཡེ་ཤེས་མེ་�ང་�ས།

ram yam kham rik pa yé shé mé lung chü ཚ�གས་�ས་མཚན་འཛ�ན་བ�ེག་གཏོར་�ང་།

tsok dzé tsen dzin sek tor jang RAM YAM KHAM The primordial wisdom purify the arranged tsok offerings from ego grasping. Fire burns, wind scatter away and water washes away. ཨ�་�ཱཿ�ྃ་ ད�ིངས་�ི་�ོད་�་འདདོ་ད�འ་ིཚ�གས།

om a hum ying kyi nö du dö gü tsok OM A HUM Within the vessel of the expanse of space there is arranged the tsok feast of everything desirable །ཟག་མདེ་ཡེ་ཤེས་བ�ད་�ིར་�ེལ།

zak mé yé shé dü tsir pel it unfolds as the nectar of the uncontaminated wisdom. ཚ�གས་དང་པོ་བཏེགས་ལ།

Offer the first tsok:

��ིཿ �ས་ག�མ་བདེ་གཤགེས་ཚ�་ཡི་�།

hrih dü sum dé shek tsé yi lha HRI Long life deities of the three times, །འདིར་�ོན་ཚ�གས་�ད་མཆོད་པ་བཞེས།

dir jön tsok pü chö pa zhé please come here to partake of this tsok offering. །དམ་ཚ�ག་ཉམས་སོགས་ཉེས་�ང་བཤགས།

dam tsik nyam sok nyé tung shak I confess the impaired samaya and other downfalls. །བདག་འཛ�ན་ད�ིངས་�ོལ་ཚ�གས་�་རོལ།

dak dzin ying dröl tsok su röl Ego-clinging liberates into expanse of space where everything is the enjoyement of the tsok feast. ག་ཎ་ཙ�་���་ཛ་ཧོཿ GANATSAKRA PUDZA HO

གཉིས་པ་བཏེགས་ལ།

Offer the second tsok:

��ིཿ �ང་�ིད་འདདོ་ཡོན་བ�ང་�ས་�ིས།

hri nang si dö yön kang dzé kyi HRI The desirable objects of all the existence become the amendment and reparation tsok feast. །ཚ�་ཡི་ད�ིལ་འཁོར་རབ་འ�མས་དང་།

tsé yi kyil khor rap jam dang I offer to the infinite mandalas of the long life deities, །�་ག�མ་�ལ་བ་�ས་འཁོར་བཅས།

ku sum gyel wa sé khor ché to the victorious ones of the three bodies and their sons with their retinues. །�གས་དམ་ད�ེས་�ོང་ཉམས་ཆག་བཤགས།

tuk dam gyé kong nyam chak shak By fulfilling and satysfying your heart vows, all the broken samayas are confessed and repaired. ཨ�་པ�་ྨས�་སོགས་ཡིག་བ�་བ�ོད། OM PADMA SATTVA SAMAYA and so on, recite the hundred syllable mantra.

ག�མ་པ་དངོས་�བ་�་རོལ་ལ། Third, partaking of the feast of receiving the accomplishments:

ཧོཿ �ོ་�ེ་�ང་པོ་གདན་ག�མ་�།

ho dor jé pung po den sum lha HO To the deities of the vajra aggregates of the three seats །འདོད་ཡནོ་བདེ་ཆེན་�ན་�་རོལ།

dö yön dé chen gyen du röl I offer all the desirables offerings adorned with great bliss. ཨ་ལ་ལ་ཧོཿ A LA LA HO བཞི་པ་ཚ�གས་�ག་�ིར་གཏོང་ལ།

Fourth, offering of the tsok remaiders:

ཨ�་�ཱཿ་� ྃ བཀའ་ཉན་རོལ་པའི་�ག་�ད་�མས།

om ah hum ka nyen röl pé lhak dü nam The gathered remainders become the feast offerring for those bound by oath. །�ར་གཤེགས་དམ་�ས་�ག་གཏོར་བཞེས།

tsur shek dam dzé lhak tor zhé Please come here and accept this samaya offering of the remainder of the torma!

།ཚ�་ལ་གནོད་སོགས་�ནེ་ངན་བ�ོག

tsé la nö sok kyen ngen dok Dispell all the damege to the long life and the unfavourable conditions, །བ�ན་པ་�ང་བའི་�ིན་ལས་མཛ�ད།

ten pa sung wé trin lé dzö and accomplish your activity of protecting the doctrine! ཁ་ཁ་�ཱ་ཧི།། KHA KHA KHA HI ལས་�ིང་གིས་�ིས་པ་དགེ།། །།
