1. In addition to officers listed in Rule 3.4 An Cumann Camógaíochta, Contae Ceatharlach will elect a Fixtures/Competition Secretary. This member must be member of the Association and is entitled to vote at Executive Committee meetings only.
2. Fixtures Committee: It shall consist of TWO members of the Executive i.e. Vice Chairperson that will act as Chairperson of the Committee, Fixtures / Competition Secretary and other(s) ratified by the County Board.
It shall be responsible for all matters relating to games under the jurisdiction of An Cumann Camógaíochta, Contae Ceatharlach including fixtures, venues for games, appointment of referees etc.
3. An Cumann Camógaíochta, Contae Ceatharlach will hold Annual Convention once a year before December 8th. County Committee shall meet on a regular basis from January to November. The Executive Committee shall meet as required.
4. Transfers / Objections / Appeals will be lodged with (Transfers, Hearings and Disciplinary Committee) THDC.
All applications for transfers from one club to another within the county must be made byMarch 1st each year.
5. (a) Club affiliation and registrations fees will be in accordance with An Treorai Oifigiuil and paid administered through Servasport / PayPal system.
(b) Additional fees shall be set by a decision of the County Convention and be paid annually to Carlow Camogie Board County Board.
6. All applications for regradings must be made by March 1st each year.
7. Attendance at Meetings: A club which is not represented at a County Committee Meeting shall be fined €10.00.
8. Each club shall nominate at least ONE (1) ACTIVE referee.
9. Each club shall pay a competition fee of €20.00 per competition each year.
10. Referees’ expenses shall be paid on the day of all matches to appointed referee. Fees will be divided equally between both teams unless instructed otherwise by County Executive. All expenses for finals will be paid by County Committee.
11. Any club who wins an adult competition at Junior or other grade apart from Senior two years in a row or twice in three years be upgraded to next grade.

1. An Cumann Camógaíochta Contae Ceatharlach shall organise Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Junior and Senior Championship Competitions; Adult 12 A Side League; U-21 Blitz Day Competition; Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10 Go Games; Under 12 Go Games and Mini Leagues, Under 11 and Under 13 Autumn Leagues, Cluster Blitzes and any othercompetitions as it decides.
2. A set of medals will be presented to the winners in all Championship competitions only. Runner Up Medals will be presented at Under 14 level. A uniform medal will be presented to every girl who competes in underage Go Games and Mini Leagues.
3. By April 30th each year clubs must be registered on online system. (Additional players must be registered (3) days prior to a match – Rule 28.1.)
4. Each club within the county may enter teams in Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Senior, Junior Championship, 12 A Side Adult League, U21 Blitz Day and for underage teams they may enter in Go Games / Cluster Blitzes and Mini Leagues.
5. AGE CRITERIA (Please refer to An Treoraí Oifigúil (Official Guide) 2013 – 28.4) A player must meet the following age criteria in order to be eligible to participate in
competitions:
Under 12 Be Under 12 and over 8
Under 14 Be Under 14 and over 10
Under 16 Be Under 16 and over 12
Under 18 Be Under 18 and over 14
Adult Be Over 15 except in case of inter-county competitions where a player must be over 16.
6. HELMET (Please refer to Rialacha Imeartha (Playing Rules) 2013 – 7.2 In all Camogie games and training sessions it is mandatory for all players to wear an approved
helmet with facial guard.
7. SHINGUARDS: It is also recommended that all players wear shinguards in underage competitions.
8. All members must comply with the Camogie Association’s Code of Behaviour “Our Game Our Code” – Code of Best Practice in Youth Sport. All coaches must be Garda vetted prior to commencing coaching with all age groups.

9. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
� Championship to be run on a league system.
� 1st Placed Team will go straight to final.
� 2nd and 3rd Placed Team will play a semi final. Winner will go into championship final.
� (All Other Rules Governed by Official Guide and Playing Rules 2015).
10. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
� Championship to be run on a league system.
� 1st Placed Team will go straight to final.
� 2nd and 3rd Placed Team will play a semi final. Winner will go into championship final.
� Players who played in a higher grade championship in previous year will not be eligible toplay in this competition unless regrading approved.
� Any club competing in Senior Championship must have played in that grade prior to fielding in Junior Championship.

11. ADULT 12-A-SIDE LEAGUE
� League to be run on a league system.
� Two groups of 4. Top team in each group v 2nd team in opposite in semi-finals.
� Any player named on the Carlow County Intermediate Championship panel will not be eligible to play in this league.

12. UNDER 21 CHAMPIONSHIP BLITZ
� This competition will be played as a one day blitz competition as decided by AnnualConvention. Must have a minimum of three teams to proceed.

13. UNDER 18 15-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIP
� This competition will be played on a league basis as decided by Annual Convention.
� Top two teams will play in championship final.

14. UNDER 18 12-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIP
� This competition will be played on a league basis as decided by Annual Convention.
� Top team will play in championship final; second and third team will play a semi final.

15. UNDER 16 15-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIP
� This competition will be played on a league basis as decided by Annual Convention.
� Semi Finals will be played 1 v 4 (1), 2 v 3 (2); ‘A’ Final Winner 1 v 2; ‘B’ Final Loser 1 v 2.

16. UNDER 16 12-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIP

17. UNDER 14 15-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIP
� This competition will be played on a league basis as decided by Annual Convention.
� 15-a-side competition; Full Sized Pitch – 25 mins a half as decided upon at Annual Convention.

18. UNDER 14 12-A-SIDE CHAMPIONSHIP
� This competition will be played on a league basis as decided by Annual Convention.
� 12-a-side competition; Reduced Sized Pitch – 25 mins a half as decided upon at Annual
Convention.
� (All Other Rules Governed by Official Guide and Playing Rules 2015).
19. UNDER 10 GO GAMES (As decided Upon at Annual Convention)
� Seven weeks of blitzes held in club grounds.
� Two Regional Blitzes will be organised by County Board.
� Go Games Rules must be applied in all Go Games as per attached sheet.
� Ensure pitch sizes are correct and use appropriate sliotar. In Under 10 Size 2 Quick Touch.
� By Camogie Association Rule 33.10 a club can only take part in an all-county leagueif they have played in at least 3 sanctioned blitzes at that age group.
20. UNDER 12 GO GAMES (As decided Upon at Annual Convention)
� Four weeks of blitzes held in club grounds.
� After the four week course of blitzes the county board will organise one regional blitz.
� Go Games Rules must be applied in all Go Games as per attached sheet.
� Ensure pitch sizes are correct and use appropriate sliotar. In Under 10 Size 2 Quick Touch
while in Under 12 Size 3 Smart Touch.
� By Camogie Association Rule 33.10 a club can only take part in an all-county leagueif they have played in at least 3 sanctioned blitzes at that age group.
21. UNDER 12 MINI LEAGUES MINI LEAGUES (As decided Upon at Annual Convention)
� The County Board will then organise an “ALL-COUNTY LEAGUE”.
� Every club plays everyone in this league format.
� Total of nine league games and a finals evening.
� EQUIPMENT:
Use Small Goalposts; Use Smart Touch Camogie sliotar for games.

� SET UP GAME:
Playing Area Small Goalpost on both 21 yard lines. 12-a-side (reduce if opposition has not
got 12-s-side). 20 minutes per half.
� PLAYING RULES:
Play commences with a throw in at halfway. Can Solo, Kick and Rise and Strike sliotar.
If team sends ball over their end line, other team gets 35m Free. Wide ball or score
goalie pucks out.
22. UNDER 8 GO GAMES
� Each club must host a blitz in their club.
� Carlow Camogie will hold 2 regional blitzes mid season and at end of season.
� A club must attend at least 3 club organised blitzes.
� If your club attends every day there is a potential to play 12 games if you have 1 squad and 24 games if you have 2 squads.
� Go Games Rules must be applied in all Go Games as per attached sheet. Ensure pitch sizes are correct and use appropriate sliotar. In Under 8 Size 1 First Touch.
23. FIXTURES
� Fixtures issued to clubs by the Fixtures Secretary are deemed official notice of same. � A change to fixtures can only be made with permission from the Fixtures Secretary /
Committee. Games once fixed, may only be called off in the event of a bereavement in the family of a player or club official, or if pitch is closed by adult GAA club in event of a bereavement.
� Home/host club is responsible for booking referee with referee administrators. � A fine of €50 will be applied to any club who fails to fulfil fixtures along with points been
deducted. All matches to be played as per Fixtures Book. If a game needs to be changed it must be played three days before or after the date in Fixtures Book. In such cases, the team changing the fixture must have the permission of the Fixtures Secretary / Committee.
� In such cases, the team changing the fixture must have the permission of the Fixtures Secretary and inform:
(a) The referee.
(b) The Venue Manager.
(c) The County PRO. � Club must give 24 hours notice to opposition if shortened pitch required at all levels. If
notice not received in this time frame full sized pitch MUST be used. � For Under 12, 14, 16 and Minor Games both teams must give the referee €15 before the
game along with team sheet. For all adult games i.e. Senior and Junior Championshipand Adult League both teams must give the referee €20 before the game along withteam sheet. Games will not be played until referee is paid.
� For all finals the referee will be paid by Carlow Camogie Board.
24. A neutral referee will be appointed for all games by the Fixtures Committee. In the event ofthe referee not attending at a venue the competing teams shall agree on a referee.
24. Results of Underage Mini League matches should not be posted on club or county socialmedia platforms ie. Facebook / Twitter. If the result of any matches are comprehensive inother championship games goodwill be shown to all clubs in relation to postings on social media platforms.
