The beautiful disc-shaped craft landed and ahuman-looking cosmonaut disembarked andapproached the witness:

Gosmonaut: You are a fearless man.Eduard Meier: I forgot to be afraid as I

watching that machine.Cosmonaut: That is why we have been ob-

serving you a number of years.Eduard Meier: Ah, so. And, why me, may I be

permitted to ask?Cosmonaut: Why you? I will explain some-

thing to you.Eduard Meier: I have no power or authority

to do anything for you.Cosmonaut: Certainly we would not have

selected you and guided your interest in ques-tions of this nature (telepathy, UFOs, etc.) ifyou were not honest and sincere.

Eduard Meier: Thank you for the compli-ment.

Cosmonaut: Nothing special. You haveearned it.

Eduard Meier: Thanks, and whom may I beaddressing?

Cosmonaut: A being with interests likeyours. My name is Semjase. I come from thePleiades.

Eduard Meier: The Seven Sisters?Cosmonaut: Yes.Eduard Meier: Truly a flight beyond com-

prehension. How is it possible? Do you travelultradimensionally?

Cosmonaut: You know much.Eduard Meier: Semjase, why don't you take

me to your ship, so that I may take a picture upclose? Or will my film be ruined?

Cosmonaut: Naturally you must have goodphotographs to prove our meeting.

Eduard Meier: ls it all right if I make thispublic? How should I comport myself in this?

Cosmonaut: As you think best. You shall ob-tain more later.

Eduard Meier: Very good. Semjase, is it notdangerous to leave the ship parked like that, inthe open? lt is such an attractive object.

Cosmonaut: Do not worry! We have pro-vided aoainst that. No one can oet within 100meters 6t tne craft. And it is out dt signt behindthe trees and the hill.

That was the beginning of an hour long con-versation in flawless local dialect that tookplace between a UFO occupant and Mr.Eduard Meier in a secluded meadow sur-rounded by trees near Hinwil, Canton Zurich,Switzerland. Mr. Meier is reluctant to discussall of the conversation at this time because

visits of an extraterrestrial spaceship to thewooded countryside near Hinwil, we presentthe details of the first visit and an example ofthe photographs made by the principal wit-ness. Mr. Eduard Meier.

Mr. Meier, now 39, an ex-truck driver andone-time racing car driver, lost an arm in anautomobile accident in Turkey, and has to op-erate his camera, a Japanese Olympus CR,35mm hand held model with a defective view-finder and focus that cannot be changed, withthis handicap; no small feat in itself.

He was always interested in metaphysicsand the possibility of communication withrealms of being beyond the physical. He inves-tigated spiritualism and tried various methodsof telepathy, seeking some form of direct con-

Jurgenson and was using the same method. The first result was weak and indistinct. butvoices could definitely be heard. On the sec-ond attempt, he heard a definite message in-structing him to take a camera and qo out im-mediately. lt was a gentle comman-d, and hecomplied with it. He took the camera, went outand got on his Mo-ped. He had no idea wherehe was going but he seemed to be guided byan inner voice. lt was almost 1:00.

He rode down the road, through the smallvillage of Hinwil and out into the woodedcountryside to an unpopulated area. Therewas only an old truck stopped in a path off theroad. As he passed it, he stopped to look at thelicense tag and observed that it was German, and th'ought that the driver must be in thewoods. lt was exactly 2:12. He had been ridingfor about an hour. He looked up at the overcaslsky. Suddenly, he was surprised to hear ahumming sound and, looking in that direction, saw a strange circular machine shoot out fromthe clouds and begin slowing down. As itslowed, the humming ceased. The marvelouscraft was disc-shaped and it advanced in acurye toward the witness. lt was about 350meters awav.

Meier raised his camera to frame themachine, hoping to get a picture of it as it flewover,-and snapped the first shot at about 2:15when the object was about 150 meters awayand 150 meters above the ground. As soon ashe snappe tedand sped ingsound res ler-ate.

Almost immediately, the disc-shaped craftreturned at high speed and slowed to a hoverover the truck. Meier took the second photo-graph and noted that the time was 2:18. Hewas absolutely certain that he had seen andphotographed a real UFO. Interested, he ob-served the object with careful attentio". t?g

  • lower part of the circular craft, below the discflange, vibrated rapidly in a steady small wavemotion from the center disc to the rim of theflange. Perhaps the unknown energy sourcemodified or appeared to modify the apparentlysolid surface to produce the wave effect. Healso noticed that heat was radiating from theobiect. In a moment. the obiect. balancino onair over the truck, sped off again at a higfivel-ocity, disappearing in the sky to the East. Thehumming ceased and the place returned to si-lence.

Meier turned his bicycle around and pro-ceeded eastward along the edge of the woods. He dismounted and continued afoot, excitedly

turning the events of the experience over in hismind, trying to organize them exactly as theyhad happened.

He came to a clearing where he saw five roedeer grazing peacefully. Beyond them, amongthe fir, birch and beech trees, crows were battl-ing some other birds of prey. Then somethinghappened to break the tranquility of the scene. The birds suddenly abandoned the clearingand the deer became nervous, raising theirheads and looking around, as if they senseddanger in the wind. Running rapidly, with long, bounding leaps, they disappeared into the dis-tant trees.

"Two or three minutes passed, and then I

  • began to hear t.he humming sound again.Suddenly the strange craft shot in from theEast and circled over the woods as it sloweddown. As the humminq diminished this time Iunderstood the stranj'e behavior of the ani-mals. Evidently they had somehow becomeaware of the presence before it appeared over-head. The object curved over the trees towardsthe clearing and settled gently on the grass. Ihurriedly snapped another picture as it wascoming down. lt was 2:31. lt made its landingsoftly and without a stir near the trees. As soonas it landed, l, full of curiosity, ran toward it toget closer and possibly photograph it then. But, about 100 meters from the object, I was

This was the first shot of Semjase's extraterrestrial vehicle, taken by Eduard Meier, just after sighting the UFO.halted by a force of some kind. lt was like ad-vancing against a flexible barrier or strongcurrent, or like opposing strong like polaritiesof a magnet. I used all my strength to over-come the obstacle but it was not enough. ltwas impossible to advance and I thought that, whatever it was, it certainly protected the ob-ject. lt was no illusion."

"Then, from behind the UFO came a figure. She was'wearing a silver-gray coverall sSme-thing like our space pilots use, only it did notappear cumbersome. lt seemed very light andflexible, like something our spacesuits mightevolve to. lt gave the impression of being verydurable. lt had a firm ring around the neck, evidently for attaching a helmet, though at themoment she was not wearing one. Her headwas bare. The being came toward me slowlyand I noticed that it had a feminine walk. Thepilot had about her an extraordinary humanappearance. Her movements were gracefuland direct, indicating quiet command and per-fect control. An inner assurance of confidence. She was entirely feminine. When she came upto me, she took me by the arm and I raised offthe ground, as if I had no weight. Her grip wasfirm but not annoying. Slowly she led me to-ward my bicycle as she began addressing mein perfect Germant without accent." They ex-changed pleasantries and conversed until3:15. "We stood and walked for a time, andARGOSY UFO

During the discussion, which lasted aboutan hour and ten minutes, Meier learned thathis visitor's name was Semjase, and that shesaid she came from the Pleiades. She invitedhim to visit her native planet, which she did notname, but she said that her home country wassomething like that of the lower Swiss Alps, forwhich reason she liked that area. She said thatthey had been planning this contact for a longtime to develop a voice channel for Earth hu-manity, to help humans out of their ignoranceof so many things. From this time on, Meiercould serve as a direct communication chan-nel with them for our public.

Semjase left him at 3:58, indicating that hemight take another photo of her spacecraftwhile she flew rt around a tree. Then she re-boarded her ship. He could barely see thecraft, when it sent in his direction a radiationlike a heat flare, which seemed to alter its formmomentarily and then disappeared. The craftbegan to move. A reddish-blue color appeared

to be emitted around the perimeter of the craftas it rose from the ground. He took anotherphotograph. Then Semjase returned againwith the spacecraft and flew a circle around a

as follows:ln part one of this Argosy UFO series, we

learned that Mr. Meier had his first experiencewith a UFO on June 2, 1942, when he was 5years old. His father, who also witnessed theUFO, only shook his head in disbelief, sayingthat it must be one of those new Germanweapons. When he began to hear voices in hishead he went to see his parson, who fortu-nately was aware of telepathy and extraphysi-cal communication and explained it sayingthere was nothing to fear. The wise old minis:ter said his secret was safe and explained thathe would interpret certain things; however,Meier would have to keep it to himself because

Meier snapped this shot of the UFO as it was about to settle in a field nearby.38

  • these things did not f it into his preaching pro-fession. His was the task, he said, to fill his jobas a parson in his community, while trying tocarefully introduce his church members to thereal truth about religion. This, he added, wasan extremely difficult and delicate task sincethe people in this community were especiallyGod-fearing and, therefore, also superstitious.

Part Two"The disclosures of my old minister made

sense to me, even though I received a blowwhen he added that mv life was ooino to beextremely hard, rich in Self-denial-and Tnisery.Up to date, this has been true. His explanationalso helped me to overcome my unfoundedfears and I started to expand the hitherto one-sided telepathic contact. I began to ask ques-tions and I got answers. So I knew that the oldreverend had told me the truth.

"Through the means of telepathic conversa-tions with a human entity, I now started receiv-ing exceptional and, to me, overpowering in-formation, which often sounded like pure

madness. He called himself Sfath. As a con-sequence, I became involved in thinos whichisolated me completely from my surro-undings.As time went on, I learned, however, to bearwith apathy every kind of vicious attack andintrigue, and I let it even happen that I becamethe scapegoat for every evil-doing in the vil-lage. I took no longer notice of what went onaround me and finally, I learned to smile in-wardly when I had to suffer for things I hadnever committed. Often I got such hard beat-ing that it was difficult for me to sit down or tostand up at school. There, the situation gotworse dnd worse and I started playing [hetruant. This had no serious consequences formy education, because what I learned atschool was enlarged and deepened in the les-sons I got through telepathy from Sfath.

"Despite my school absences, whichamounted to 173 days in one particular year, the school authorities did nothing about it foryears, which was really astonishing. On thecontrary, I felt that my teachers preferredthings to run as they did until I had nearlyf inished my school terms. Only then, sixmonths before the last day at school, they gotat me . . . However, as those things influencedmy life only for a short episode and had noconsequences in my later development I shallnot give any more details here.

"So it happened in 1944 that Sfath took uptelepathic contact with me because I now wasready for reception, thanks to my minister'sexplanatory help. Yet, I was still in ignoranceof the fact that Sfath was the very man who, atan earlier time, had taken me aboard his pear-shaped flying machine. He now started, through telepathy, to explain to me that I wasbeinq trained for an enormous and extremelvimpoirtant task and that it was up to me to de-cide whether I would be able to bear theweight of such a mission, or not. He told methat already at my birth I had been chosen forthis specific task and that I had been undercontrol ever since. To prove his point heasked me if I remembered that at the age of sixmonths I had passed through a very badpneumonia and that I had been given up by thefamily doctor who, late at night, had told myparents that there was nothing more that hecould do and that I would not recover. In thesame night, so Sfath said, he himself came tomy help and gave me back to life. Of course, Iwanted to check on this information and Iasked my mother. To my astonishment sheconfirmed the story and she even recalledhow, when I recovered unexpectedly, they hadspoken of a miracle. This was also what thedoctor said who had seen no human possibil-ity to pull me through. Following his diagnosisI should have died the next morning.

"Sfath continued to give me information andhe even told me certain facts which I am notallowed to disclose to anybody. And therecame a day when I took another walk throughthe Horagenwald near Bulach. While idly stroll-

  • ing along, Sfath announced himself suddenlyin his usual telepathic way. He told me to waitand not to be afraid. I stood waiting for thingsto happen and it did not take long. After a fewminutes a silver-colored object fell from thesky, still looking kind of funny to me, althoughvaquelv familiar. I estimated its diameter atab-out five to six meters. I looked on in fascina-tion when the pear-shaped object settled onthe ground, not far away from me. A kind ofopening showed on its side and out stepped ahuman figure, a very old man. As he walked upto me I noticed his unusual dress. lt was a kindof diver's suit, silvery in aspect, with the headpart missing. His coutenance was that of avenerable and wise personality and I re-member that he reminded me of a patriarch.

"His gait was rather clumsy as he ap-proached and started talking. He addressedme in my mother tongue, the local Swissdialect which seemed to qive him some diffi-culty. He told me thatlre was Sfath, myteacher, and that I should follow him to theship. I did so, but not without some apprehen-sion. We walked toward the pear-shaped ob-ject and I was heaved up into it through theopening, without knowing exactly what it wasthat lifted me up. The door closed behind usautomatically and Sfath took me throughanother opening into a small room in whichthree seats were standing. The walls, as well asan unusual kind of desk, were fully coveredwith knobs and implements. I also noticedsome sort of small windows in which unfamil-iar figures were moving around, and in someof them I saw the familiar landscape and myvillage. Sfath asked me to take a seat andstarted manipulating one of the appliances. Ifailed to understand what he did. But I sud-denly realized that the landscape began tochanqe. I now saw it from a birds-eve anoleand Sfath explained that we were no'w abdut70 km above Earth. He also told me that thesewindows were in fact a kind of vision screenwhich was about to be developed now onEarth also. He explained it as a picture remis-sion by using a certain form of energy. He alsosaid that we would now stay for a few hours atthis height because he wanted to give mesome important information. I now learned that, due to his efforts, my mind had grown into oneof a 3$year-old human. He seemed to be satis-fied with this and said my spiritual standardwas such that I could not expect to learn any-thing more from people on Earth.

"lnterestingly enough, I had no fear what-soever when I learned how high up we were. Ifelt no surprise, but, on the contrary, I had avague feeling of a familiar situation and I stop-ped wonderinq at Sfath's pronouncements. And it was in a-stoic mood that I accepted theinformation that Sfath would be my guardianno longer than into the '50s when he wouldpass on his task to a much higher evolved per-son. His time was running out, he said, and Iwould need instructions from a much higher40

educated person anyway.""He also told me that humanity was in for a

very dangerous period and that the still ragingWorld War ll would come to an end in 1945. Hespoke of a coming disaster comparable to thedestruction of Sodom and Gomorrha. And no-body could deny that the oncoming atomicwarfare was whai he had in mind. He-gave memuch more information which I am not al-lowed to give away.

"Sfath had never told me his age, but I esti-mated it at least to be 90 or even 95. Neitherdid he ever speak of his origin or did he evergive me specifications of my own task awaitingme. This I only learned some tens of years laterand from another source. In the meantime, Ihad to go through some tough experienceswhich drove me nearly mad, and I also faceddeath several times. But somehow I managedto overcome all difficulties and danoers. Onlv avery few times I had to accept help from theoutside, and today I am conscious of the factthat each time I got help from the outside someextraterrestrial agency must have been in-volved. But, on the whole, I was completely onmy own and had to manage my life and to carryout my work as best as I could. lt was a longepisode in which I learned a lot and was taughthow to master every situation.

"My sojourn in the ship this particular daywas of a duration of four hours. Toward theend of this most informative and stirring ex-perience, Sfath asked me to lay back in mychair, whereupon he started to place a singu-lar contraption around my head, an appliancewith innumerable wires and small pieces at-tached. Wonderino at what was ooino on. Ikept calm and obs6rved Sfath's ma-nipuTationsof knobs and switches. Suddenly, somethingstrange happened: I was able to see and hearoverwhelming things in my head. They seemedto become clearer and simpler allthe time, andall of a sudden, I felt an enormous amount ofknowledge and perception manifest inside mybrain. A most unusual kind of energy welled upin me. After a few moments I even was able toperceive things and events of the future and torealize how, in time, I would try to heal sickpeople with this strange force. But, as soon asSfath started to remove this unfamiliar headgear, the incoming flow of energy stopped. Hetold me that, from now on, I was in possessionof all the faculties which the appliance had in-stilled but which, in fact, had been developedinside me already during an earlier epoch. Heassured me that never again would I lose them, but that the condition was never to use themfor egotistical aims or for showing off. All theknowledge accumulated would be at my dis-oosal. onlv for mv own soiritual evolution andlor thb fulfillment'of my mission. lf, at any time,I would try to use pur-poses, there wou 'im-planted' brake, b themoment of dange ouldalso work in case of scientific tests carried out

"After these last informations, Sfath broughtme back to the very spot where we had startedexactly four hours earlier. He then disappearedin his pear-shaped ship and I never saw himagain. Only his voice kept coming through forthe next few vears. brinoino some kind of newand startling'knowledg6 edch time. lt was onthe 3rd of February, 1953, that he took leavefor good. His voice had a tired and exhaustedring. I never heard him again.

"But, only a few hours after Sfath's voicehad left me forever, a new voice came through.Like Sfaths' this voice was suddenly here andaddressed me distinctly. But I noticed at oncethat it came from a young and strong organ, full of enerqy and, unlike the voice of Sfath, soft and haimonious. After a while, I was in-formed that it came from a she, that her namewas Asket and that from now on she would bemy mentor. Through her, my second contact, Ilearned a lot of things and received some kindof phenomenal knowledge, or so it seemed tome at that time. And it was Asket who, in duetime, made it possible for me to travel world-wide for a few-too short-years so I couldstart my own research work and grow in per-ception.ARGOSY UFO

That concludes the biographical informationuseful in explaining Mr. Meier's UFO contactsin this series.

The second meeting with Semjase tookplace almost one month later, on 27 February, near Wetzikon, where two different types ofspacecraft appeared. We hope to cover thatlanding in detail in the next issue of thismagazine. A photograph from that visit, show-ing the two types of spacecraft is includedhere for your inspection.

We are working on translation of the first 15conversations with Semjase and expect tobring you some of this in the next installmentin this series. Other subjects of interest willinclude:

o Why Meier was chosen.o What happens if he takes any other person

to the contact.r Security measures during contact.o What other witnesses can perceive when

they accompany Meier.o How the spacecraft are controlled.o Other human races in our Universe.o Who Semjase is.o Ray-ships.o Scoutships.o Telemeter discs.o Spaceships. In the next issue, we will report several of the

next contacts by these beings with Mr. Meierand show actual photos from each of thesecontacts.
