CANADA’S CHOICEFOR THE FABRICATING & WELDING INDUSTRY

2 | 2018 MEDIA KIT www.canadianfabweld.com

Canadian fabricators are traditionally cautious inves-tors. They look to see what value can be gained from the technology in the field and how they can effectively implement it today for tomorrow.

In the past year or so, it seems many shops have come to understand that it’s time to up their game in terms of the connectivity of their facilities. Even small-er job shops are coming to understand that, properly implemented, ERP systems and other technologies that allow the better flow of both parts and information through their facilities can mean the difference be-tween growth and stagnation.

Although Alberta and other western provinces have had a rough ride the past few years, there is a pos-itive outlook for the coming year and beyond. And where fabricating businesses are still working to recov-er ground, welding requirements for maintenance and growth are developing apace.

This is a time when shops need timely information from magazines like Canadian Fabricating & Welding and the businesses that have supported its growth and development since it published its first cover in 2016. From bending basics to machine-to-human communi-cations, we have been providing our readers with all of the technical information they require to effectively

keep their shops up and running efficiently. At the same time, we have profiled successful shops and individu-als from coast to coast, demonstrating how Canadian fabricators are changing the way they work to deliver quality product promptly for a demanding market.

In 2018 we are adding a special tribute to The Next Generation of Manufacturing Leaders in our December issue. This will profile top talents under the age of 40 who are changing the face of the fabricating and weld-ing industries. It’s important to show the wider world that manufacturing is thriving in Canada and that the trades need everyone’s support. It’s also important to show these young leaders that the industry is watching them and wants to see them succeed.

We at Canadian Fabricating & Welding look for-ward to working with you in 2018 to demonstrate the strength of manufacturing here in Canada, and to educate our readers on the many ways they can achieve yet more success in the near future.
