    Lesson Objectives :

    By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

    a) Listen to, say aloud and pronounce parts of the house with guidance.

    b) Talk about a stimulus with guidance.

    Activities:

    1. Teacher asks the pupils about their house.

    2. Teacher introduces the different parts of the house.

    3. Teacher demonstrates how to pronounce the words and pupils will follow the

    teacher.

    4. Pupils talk about what they see in the rooms.

    5. Pupils say what they have in their homes.

    6. Teacher names the things in the kitchen and then the pupils will follow the

    teacher.

    7. Pupils talk about what they have in their kitchen.

    Learning Standard : 2.1.1 (b), 2.1.2, 2.1.3,

    Lesson Objectives :

    By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

    a) Recognize and read single syllable words with the phoneme /eI/

    b) Make recognizable words with the phoneme /eI/ and read them aloud.

    Activities:

    1. Pupils read aloud name of things in the house they have learned in previous

    class.

    2. Teacher shows some keywords with the phoneme /eI/.

    3. Teacher spells and asks pupils to repeat after her.

    4. Teacher briefly explains about the phoneme /eI/.

    5. Teacher emphasizes on the words with the phoneme /eI/ by demonstrating the

    correct way to say it.

    6. 5 flashcards with the phoneme /eI/ are shown to the pupils and they read aloud

    the words together.

    7. Teacher asks the pupils to make words with the phoneme /eI/ using the letters

    given.

    8. Teacher recalls back the lesson.

    2. Pupils spell the words in the flash card together with the teacher and say the

    word aloud.

    3. Teacher says the words aloud and pupils write the word on the board. Teacher

    then corrects the spelling.

    4. Pupils match the pictures with the correct words.

    5. Pupils rewrite the sentences by replacing the pictures with the correct words.

    4. Divide the pupils in two groups.

    6. After they finish, Group 1 asks the question and Group 2 shows the picture cards

    and responds.

    7. Then, repeats the activity with Group 2 asks the question and Group 1 shows the

    picture cards and responds.
