BIOGRAFIJABartolomej Stanković je bosanskohercegovački pijanist i docent na Katedri za klavir Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu. Muzičko obrazovanje započeo je 1997. godine u ŠOMO „Avdo Smajlović“ u Visokom, u klasi prof. Bahrije Šabanović. U Sarajevu je, 2006. godine, završio Srednju muzičku školu Sarajevo, u klasi prof. Angeline Bojović-Pap. Magistrirao je klavir na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu, 2011. godine, u klasi prof. em. Pavice Gvozdić. Završio je i postdiplomski studij na akademiji Steinway Academy u Veroni, u klasi pijaniste Federica Gianella. Usavršavao se na seminarima kod eminentnih klavirskih pedagoga: Andrej Pisarev, Grigory Gruzman, Naum Grubert, Peter Eicher, Jan Jiracek von Armin, Arsen Čarkić, Jelena Pavić, Gregor Vidović i Andrea Dindo. Dobitnik je brojnih nagrada na državnim i internacionalnim takmičenjima, kao i Rektorove nagrade Sveučilišta u Zagrebu za projekt „KLAVIR – kroz historiju i gra�u“ koji je kao koncertna prezentacija predstavljen u nekoliko gradova Bosne i Hercegovine i Hrvatske. U aprilu, 2013. godine, predstavljao je Bosnu i Hercegovinu na 27. muzičkom biennalu u Zagrebu. Sara�ivao je sa Dubrovačkim simfonijskim orkestrom, Sarajevskom filharmonijom i održao preko 50 solističkih koncerata u Bosni i Hercegovini, Hrvatskoj, Italiji i Austriji. Ovaj CD je posvećen njegovoj djevojci, pijanistici i sopranistici Loreni Grubešić, s ljubavlju i poštovanjem.

BIOGRAPHYBartolomej Stanković is a pianist from Bosnia and Herzegovina and an assistant professor at the Piano Department of the Academy of Music, University of East Sarajevo. He started his education in music in the School for Primary Education in Music Avdo Smajlović in Visoko, in the class of professor Bahrija Šabanović. In Sarajevo, he finished the Secondary School of Music Sarajevo, in the class of professor Angelina Bojović-Pap. In 2011, he obtained his magister’s degree from the Academy of Music in Zagreb, in the class of emeritus professor Pavica Gvozdić. He also finished a postgraduate study at the Steinway Academy in Verona, in the class of pianist Federico Gianello. He has improved in seminars by eminent piano pedagogues: Andrej Pisarev, Grigory Gruzman, Naum Grubert, Peter Eicher, Jan Jiracek von Armin, Arsen Čarkić, Jelena Pavić, Gregor Vidović and Andrea Dindo. He has won numerous prizes at state and international competitions, as well as of the Rector’s Prize of the University of Zagreb for the project PIANO - Through History and Construction which was presented in the form of concert presentations in a few cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. In April 2013, he represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 27th Music Bienalle in Zagreb. He has also cooperated with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and held about 50 solo concerts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy and Austria. This CD is dedicated to his girlfriend Lorena Grubešić, a pianist and soprano, with love and respect.

O KOMPOZITORIMA

Samir Fejzić (Sarajevo, 1966.), bh. kompozitor i jazz-pijanist. Diplomirao je na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu, predaje u SMŠ Sarajevo, a snimio je i izdao pet CD albuma sa autorskim kompozicijama. Valcer Sjetni princ je kompozicija nadahnuta pričom o bosanskom kraljevstvu i srednjovjekovnom gradu Bobovcu. Nakon razloženih akorada, slijedi sjetni valcer pun tuge i boli, melodije protkane bogatim harmonijama, koje snažno dočaravaju posljednji pogled na grad Bobovac. Virtuzno djelo Balkan Madness spaja Istok i Zapad, balkanske ritmove i melose sa jazz standardima. Milan Prebanda (Šibenik, 1907. – Sarajevo, 1979.), bh. kompozitor hrvatskog porijekla. Diplomirao je solo pjevanje na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu, a kompoziciju poha�ao kod Franje Dugana. U njegovom stvaralačkom opusu, najznačajnije mjesto zauzimaju solo pjesme. Od 1940. pa sve do smrti, djelovao je kao muzički umjetnik i pedagog u niz gradova BiH. U djelu Četiri minijature za klavir na način bosanskog i dalmatinskog folklora, kompozitor prenosi folklorni tonski jezik bosanskog, ali i rodnog dalmatinskog podneblja u vlastiti muzički stil, koji iz pojedinačnog zvuka folklora stvara cjelinu kompozicije. Vlado Milošević (Banja Luka, 1901. – Banja Luka, 1990.), bh. kompozitor koji u svom stvaralačkom opusu obimno koristi folklorni materijal. Napisao je preko 500 kompozicija koje predstavljaju sve muzičke žanrove osim baleta. Kompozitor je i prve opere u BiH, Jazavac pred sudom. Fantastične Tri burleske, komponovane 1943. godine, programskog su sadržaja: I (burleska) Dva dječaka zadirkuju jedan drugog gurkajući se, II (humoreska) Dva penzionera šetuckaju s noge na nogu, spominjući, stara dobra vremena, III (groteska) Dvije žene se sva�aju. Vojin Komadina (Karlovac, 1933. – Beograd, 1997.), bh. kompozitor izuzetnog stvaralačkog opusa, dugogodišnji profesor kompozicije na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu i prvi dekan Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu. U njegovim djelima primjetno je prisustvo folklora i otvorenost prema savremenim i modernim stilsko-estetskim odrednicama. Refrain IV – Nijemo glamočko kolo (1975.) u kojem su folklorni elementi protkani s najsavremenijim kompozitorskim tehnikama, posvećeno je doajenu hrvatskog pijanizma Vladimiru Krpanu. Milan Jeličanin (Dobrljin, 1935. – Sarajevo, 1999.), bh. kompozitor i dirigent. Nakon završene Muzičke škole „Stanković“ u Beogradu, 1970. godine završava studij kompozicije na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu, na kojoj je izabran na mjesto profesora. Vodio je horove KUD-ova s kojima je nastupao diljem svijeta. Dvije tokate za klavir nastale su 1963. godine u Sarajevu i predstavljaju virtuozna djela, u kojima se prepliću repetirani tonovi sa teškim akordima in modo rustico, nadahnuti folklornim motivima ruralne BiH. Asim Horozić (Tuzla, 1958.), bh. kompozitor čija su mnogobrojna djela izvedena diljem svijeta. Diplomirao je kompoziciju na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu i nadaleko je poznat kao kompozitor opera Hasanaginica, Aska i Vuk i Zmaj od Bosne. Rijetko izvo�ena Sonata za klavir nastala je 1980. godine, a praizvela ju je prof. Nedžmija Omerćehajić. Odiše mladalačkom poletnošću i razigranošću,

ne bježeći od klasične forme. Kompozitor se odlučio da tri stavka sonate formom čine jednu klavirsku sonatu koja sadrži sonatni stav, trodijelnu pjesmu i na kraju rondo u koji je fantastično protkana istarska ljestvica.

Josip Magdić (Ogulin, 1937.), bh. kompozitor hrvatskog porijekla. Magistrirao je kompoziciju u Ljubljani, a na poziv Miroslava Špilera 1970. godine, njegova radna i životna sredina postaje Sarajevo, gdje je bio dugogodišnji profesor na Muzičkoj akademiji. U opusu od preko 150 djela, prošao je kroz različite stvaralačke faze, a istakao se i na području avangarde. Kompozicija za klavir Bentbaša je stvorena na osnovi jednog od najljepših bh. melopoetskih starovaroških bisera. Djelo je posvetio svojoj kćerci Ivani, a sredinom 1992. godine praizvela ju je Esma Pašić u okviru ciklusa Ratnih matineja. David Mastikosa (Prijedor, 1992.), bh. kompozitor i asistent na Akademiji umjetnosti Univerziteta u Banja Luci. U njegovom stvaralačkom opusu značajno mjesto zauzima elektroakustička muzika i aleatorika, a kompozicije su mu izvedene na mnogim festivalima u BiH i svijetu. Autor je muzike za dokumentarni film „Sarajevo 1914“. Kompozicija iRitual za klavir i čovjeka je inspirirana poezijom Mehmedalije Maka Dizdara i muzikom Vlade Miloševića. Kao gradivni element korišten je akord iz Miloševićeve XIV bosanske elegije Iz dumača i šuma modrih. Ova kompozicija svojevrstan je hommage Bosni, hladnoj i gladnoj, prkosnoj od sna. Dražan Kosorić (Sokolac, 1976.), dekan Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu, bh. kompozitor simfonijske, kamerne, instrumentalne i vokalno-instrumentalne muzike. Diplomirao je harmoniku i kompoziciju na Državnoj muzičkoj akademiji „A.V. Neždanova“ u Odesi (Ukrajina). Magistrirao je multidisciplinarne studije i kompoziciju na Muzičkoj akademiji Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu. Njegova djela, nagra�ena na brojnim me�unarodnim konkursima, izvo�ena su diljem svijeta i izdana u izdanjima Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu i njemačke edicije Avantus iz Freidberga. Osnivač je i umjetnički rukovodilac Orkestra harmonika Muzičke akademije Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu. Virtuozne Etide za klavir predstavljaju briljantno ostvarenje savremene kompozicijske tehnike. Različiti motivi se ponavljaju u različitim oblicima, tvoreći jedan savršeni perpetuum mobile. Armen Škobalj (Zenica, 1980.), bh. kompozitor. Diplomirao je na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu. U komponovanju slijedi postulate klasičnog komponovanja sa elementima romantizma i jazz-a. Autor je prve Mozartove biografije na bh. jeziku „W. A. Mozart – Izme�u stvarnosti i legende“. Njemačka izdavačka kuća Kirstner & Siegel objavila je niz njegovih djela. Valcer The First Rain nadahnut je pričom o bosanskom kraljevstvu. U zanosnoj melodiji kompozitor prikazuje prve kapi kiše. Valcer At the Night je kompozicija neoromantičnog karaktera. Prvi dio oslikava noćni mir, koji se u kontrastnom dijelu remeti i mijenja tok kompozicije. U kompoziciji Fantasia in Jazz, nakon širokog melodioznog prvog dijela lepršavi drugi dio donosi niz sekvenciranih jazz skala, stvarajući sasvim novi ugo�aj.

ABOUT THE COMPOSERSSamir Fejzić (Sarajevo, 1966), a composer and jazz pianist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Graduated from the Academy of Music in Sarajevo and has been teaching at the Secondary School of Music Sarajevo. Recorded and issued five CD albums with authorial compositions. The waltz Melancholic Prince is a composition inspired by a story on Bosnian kingdom and the medieval city Bobovac. After the broken chords at the beginning, a melancholic waltz starts, with a melody permeated with rich harmonies, which strongly evoke the last view of the city of Bobovac. The virtuosic piece Balkan Madness connects the East and the West, Balkan rhythms and melos with jazz standards. Milan Prebanda (Šibenik, 1907 - Sarajevo, 1979), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina of Croatian origin. Graduated solo singing from the Academy of Music in Zagreb and attended composition lessons at Franjo Dugan. In his creative opus, the most significant works are the songs for solo voice. From 1940 to his death, he was working as a musical artist and pedagogue in numerous cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In his work Four Miniatures for the Piano in the Manner of Bosnian and Dalmatian Folklore, the composer conveys the language of tones both from the Bosnian and his native Dalmatian region into in his own musical style, which creates the composition as a whole from a particular sound of folklore. Vlado Milošević (Banja Luka, 1901 – Banja Luka, 1990), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina who has been using a great deal of folklore material in his creative opus. He wrote more than 500 musical compositions, representing all musical genres except ballet. He was also a composer of the first opera in Bosnia and Herzegovina, A Badger before the Court. The fantastic Three Burlesques, composed in 1943, have a programme contents: I (burlesque) Two boys are joshing each other by pushing each other, II (humoresque) Two pensioners are walking by putting one foot in front of the other and mentioning the good old times, III (grotesque) Two women are quarrelling. Vojin Komadina (Karlovac, 1933 - Belgrade, 1997), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina with an extraordinary creative opus, a longtime professor of composition at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo and the first dean of the Academy of Music in East Sarajevo. Remarkable features of his works are the presence of folklore and the openness towards the contemporary and modern stylistic determinants. Refrain IV - Silent Round Dance from Glamoč (1975), in which the folklore elements are permeated with the most contemporary composition techniques, has been dedicated to the doyen of Croatian pianism, Vladimir Krpan. Milan Jeličanin (Dobrljin, 1935 - Sarajevo, 1999), a composer and conductor from Bosnia and Herzegovina. After he had finished the School of Music Stanković in Belgrade, in 1970 he finished the studies of musical composition at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo, where he was conferred on the position of professor. He conducted the choirs of cultural artistic societies, with which he performed all over the world. Two Toccatas for the piano were created in 1963 in Sarajevo, as virtuosic pieces, in which the repeated tones permeate with heavy chords in modo rustico, inspired by the folklore motifs of rural Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Asim Horozić (Tuzla, 1958), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina whose numerous works have been performed all over the world. He graduated composition from the Academy of Music in Sarajevo and has been widely known as the composer of operas Hasan Aga’s Wife, Aska and the Wolf and The Dragon of Bosnia. The rarely performed Piano Sonata had been created in 1980, and it was performed for the first time by professor Nedžmija Omerćehajić. It is full of youthful and vitality and playfulness, yet not evading the classical form. The composer decided that the three movements sonata together make a piano sonata, consisting of a sonata form, a ternary form and a rondo at the end, fantastically permeated with the Istrian scale. Josip Magdić (Ogulin, 1937), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina of Croatian origin. He had obtained a magister's degree in musical composition in Ljubljana, and in 1970, at the invitation by Miroslav Špiler, Sarajevo became his living and working environment, where he was a longtime professor at the Academy of Music. In his opus, consisting of more than 150 works, he passed through different creative phases, and his work was especially remarkable in the field of avant-garde. Bentbaša, the composition for the piano, was created on the basis of one of the most beautiful melopoetic old town music pearls of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The piece was dedicated to his daughter Ivana, and it was performed for the first time by Esma Pašić in the middle of 1992, within the cycle of War Matinees. David Mastikosa (Prijedor, 1992), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina and a teaching assistant at the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka. Electroacoustic and aleatoric music have an important place in his creative opus, and his compositions have been performed at many festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. He has been the author of music for the documentary film Sarajevo 1914. The composition iRitual for Piano and Human Being has been inspired by the poetry of Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar and the music by Vlado Milošević. The chord from Milošević’s 14th Bosnian Elegy from Blue Valleys and Woods has been used as a construction element. This composition is a sort of hommage for Bosnia, cold and hungry, defiant of sleep. Dražan Kosorić (Sokolac, 1976), the dean of the Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo, a composer of symphonic, chamber, instrumental and vocal-instrumental music, from Bosnia and Herzegovina. He obtained magister’s degrees at multidisciplinary studies and in musical composition at the Academy of Music, University of East Sarajevo. He graduated accordion and musical composition at the National Academy of Music A. V. Nezhdanova in Odessa (Ukraine). His works, awarded at numerous international contests, have been performed all over the world and published in the editions of the Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo and the Edition Avantus from Friedberg, Germany. He is the founder and art director of the Accordion Orchestra of the Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo. The virtuosic Etudes for the Piano present a brilliant implementation of contemporary compositional techniques. Different motifs occur in different forms, creating a perfect perpetuum mobile.

Armen Škobalj (Zenica, 1980), a composer from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Graduated from the Academy of Music in Sarajevo. In his compositions, he has been following the postulates of classical composing with the elements of romanticism and jazz. He is the author of the first Mozart’s biography in the languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina W. A. Mozart - Between the Reality and Legend. The German publishing house Kirstner & Siegel has published many of his works. The waltz The First Rain has been inspired by the story on the Bosnian kingdom. In an enchanting melody, the composer depicts the first drops of rain. The waltz At the Night is a composition of neoromantic character. Its first part depicts the stillness of the night, which gets disturbed in the contrasting part and that changes the flow of the composition. In the composition Fantasia in Jazz, after the wide and melodic first part, the second, fluttering part introduces a set of sequenced jazz scales, creating a completely new atmosphere.
