lo sapevate che ... a Torboleil casello di Torbole, la piccola costruzione sul porto, ora monumento nazionale, era
la sede della dogana austriaca. Fu costruita dal governo di Vienna, nel
‘700, per contrastare il fenomeno del contrabbando che riguardava soprattutto
il frumento, di cui erano prive le popolazioni delle valli alpine.
wussten Sie, dass...das Zollhaus von Torbole, das kleine Gebäude am Hafen, jetzt Nationalmonument,
war die Zollstelle Österreichs. Es wurde von der Regierung in Wien im 18. Jahrhundert gebaut, um
den Schmuggel von Waren zu verhindern, der sich vor allem auf Weizen konzentrierte, der der Bevölkerung
der Alpentäler fehlte.
Did you know that...the customs house of Torbole, the small building at the harbor, now national
monument, was the office of the Austrian customs. It was launched by the government in Vienna in the
18 century to prevent smuggling of goods, mainly concentrated on wheat, which was lacking to the
population of the Alpine valleys.

ben 2 giorni il famoso poeta tedesco Goethe che ne lasciò una descrizione
famosissima parlandone come del paese della cuccagna, dove “gli uomini
conducono una vita spensierata, dove le porte non hanno serrature e le finestre
sono munite di carta oliata e dove si vive in certo qual modo allo stato di

sich für 2 Tage der berühmte deutsche Dichter Goethe in Torbole, der eine berühmte Beschreibung
hinterliess, indem er vom Dorf des Überflusses sprach , wo “Männer ein sorgloses Leben leben, wo
die Türen keine Schlösser haben und wo die Fenster aus geöltem Papier sind, und wo alle in einem
