Basic Islamic Fiqah (Science)

Humans are created without Iman and blasphemy despite of Islam-e-Misaqi, they are given the power of choice (made capable of) either accepting the revealed religion truly or refusing it, to distinguish between right and wrong, follow either shariat or shatan(devil) and because of this they will judged on the Day of Judgement, but they are neither allowed to distort the revealed religion nor are they allowed to have wrong beliefs in it. This is very clear from the following statement of Fiqah Akbar. What is Islam e Misaqi? All the souls (arwah, rooh, spirits) of the whole mankind embraced Islam in the Aalim Arwah (one of the kinds of worlds, metaphysical like Aalim Barzakh) by accepting Allah Taala as their Rab, Sustainer. Technically, this is known as Islam e Misaqi. Every human is born with that kind of Islam because of that covenant, every human looks (is in search) for his/her Rabb after birth.

"Keep us on the right path (faith), the path of those who are the blessed ones. "(Auliyya Allah) - Surah Fatiha, Ayahs 6-7 Who are the blessed ones?

“Who obeys Allah Ta’ala and His Rasool are those who will blessed and will be with prophets, truthful, martyrs, and pious people, how good friends they are.”

Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 69

"Oh True believer Fear Allah Taala and stay with the truthful" Surah At-Tauba, Ayah 119 Q: What's Sufiism, Spirtualism? A: Sufiism or Spirtualism is from the persian word Tasawaf which means to clean. So Sufiism or Spirtualism is how we can clean our hearts to get the deliverance at the Day of Judgement which means the entrance into paradise and salvation from hell: the real success and prosperity, real (internal and external) happiness and peace here & hereafter which is clear from the following Holy verse of the Quran:

"Whoever cleans, purifies, rectifies himself, will succeed definitely " Surah Al-Ala, Ayah 14

That's why Rasoolallah named tazkiya nafs and tasfia qallab as jihad-i-akbar What is it’s pre-requisite? Right and True faith, meaning without right faith, the heart cannot be cleaned. What is the essential of it? Shariat (compulsory Ibaadat, meaning without compulsory Ibaadat, optional ibaadat is useless, and so then the heart can't be cleaned by Tasawaf. What are it’s signs? A True Sufi will never oppose shariat and will always try to do the optional ibaadat along with compulsory ibaadat. (Istaqamati deen ) The Stages of Sufiism 1- Muhasba (self accountability) 2- Mujahida (struggling).

-Trying ones utmost to follow Shariat & Tareeqat after the true acceptance of religion 3- Mukashfa & Mushahida

- (Ilmi & observation of unseens) 4- Murakba (meditation).

-Tafakkar and Tadabbar (Thinking about Allah Taala with deep concentration) to get the stage of khashoo & khazoo which is technically named Ahsaan in Hadees e Jabrael. These are also known as:

سيیرراالى هللا. سيیرر فى هللا The Purposes of sending Rasoolallah : 1- Teaching of Quran & Hikmat 2- Purification of the creation Q-1: How does a human heart get either pure or impure? Ans: The heart of a human is either pure (due to Iman) or impure (due to blasphemy), depending upon whether he/she accepts the revealed religion truly or not, respectively. Q-2: How does a pure heart get stronger and weaker (diseased, dirty etc)? Ans: The pure heart (true and right faith) gets stronger by doing good deeds (Ilm & Ibadat) by following the Shariat & Tareeqat. Similarly the pure heart gets weaker by doing sins that are less than blasphemy, but the Iman doesn't get nullified by the sins less than blasphemy. The weaker heart is commonly known as diseased and dirty heart because Iman can never be defected, dirty, or diseased. Faith can be right or wrong but Iman can never be wrong because iman is the name of only and only the right and true faith. Indeed, Iman is nullified by accepting the wrong beliefs as Iman can be earned by accepting the right beliefs. Q-3: How can a pure weak or diseased heart get stronger or be cured, cleaned? - What is the best and fastest way of Tasfia Qallab and Tazkiya Nafs? The importance of doing Bayyat Iradat or Barkat! Ans: The pure diseased heart can be cured, cleaned, or corrected by doing Towba (directly or indirectly) from the sins (because of them it got weak or dirty) and by doing good deeds (Ilm and Ibaadat). The indirect way of cleaning the pure dirty heart is (quick and fast) the repentance on the hand of the Walli of Allah Taala. It can be understood by the example of a person who is traveling to a destination by plane versus a person who is traveling by foot. Q-4: How can an impure heart be pured (purified)? And how can a pure heart get impured? Ans: A impure heart be pured (purified) by believing in the revealed religion truly and doing towba from all wrong beliefs. A pure heart gets impure by accepting the wrong beliefs. Q-5,Can an impure heart gets benefit from doing good deeds (ibaadat)? Ans: Not at all because heart is impured by wrong beleifs therefore can not get benefits from ibaadat. It is very simple to understand from this that how and why the prayer of the heretics is invalid(batil) then how the prayer behind any heretic (badmazhab) can be valid ?

Page 5: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

5

Q-6:How can a pure heart get shined? Ans-A pure heart can be shined by doing the optional Ibaadat constantly along with the compulsory ibaadat (The heart with Iman is just like a mirror which can be kept clean by cleaning with the water of shariat (compulsory ibaadat) and can be shined with the shining cream of tareeqat and tasawaf (optional ibaadat). -Can a heart be shined by doing optional ibaadat (tasawaf) without doing the compulsory ibaadat (shariat).? Ans-Not at all Even it will get more dirty as it is obvious from the above example of dusty mirror. It is very clear that why tareeqat (optional ibaadat) is invalid without shariat (compulsory ibaadat). Q-7:What is the benefit of a strong pure heart? How can we get control over the nafs? Ans-Qallab of a strong pure heart has control over nafs (desires) which makes it easier for the person to do good deeds (salahiyyat) and avoid bad deeds (taqwa). Q-8,What is the benefit of a shining heart? Ans-Qallab of a shined pure heart is capable of getting the Anwars (enlightened) of the Holy Noor of Allah Ta’ala. Because of this he/she has control over Mahal-e-Aadi. He/she can see and listen, hold and walk by the Noor of Allah Ta’ala. Reflections of holy manifested Siffaat of Allah Taala, that is what is meant by Finah fil Allah and Baqi bil Allah. The Nafs of this person is dead but his Rooh and Qallab are alive and much more stronger. This concept is very clear from the Holy saying of Rasoolallah. When a true muslim do optional ibaadat constantly along with compulsory ibaadat,he/she sees and hears, walks and talks with the noor of Allah Ta’ala means he/she becomes the mazhar of Samma ,Bassar and Power (Siffaat) of Allah Ta’ala. He/she sees, hears and helps from near and far equally. This is the power and siffaat which can be earned by a simple and common true muslim then what will be the power (wilayat) of Auliyya Allah granted by Allah Ta’ala? There is no match between the power of a Walli of Allah muslim and a non walli true muslim. Q-9,What is Rooh, Spirit and it's place? Ans- The rooh or spirit or soul is the Noori creation of Allah Taala which is Johar-e-Mujarrad, having all the Siffaat. It's place is in the heart of the human's body. Iman is the life of it and blasphemy is the death of it. Hazrat Jibraiel Alaihi Salam puts the rooh in the heart of the baby in the mother's womb at the 12th week of pregnancy (Life Aadi). Hazrat Izraiel Alaihi Salam takes the rooh out of the body at the time of first death (death Aadi). The rooh doesn't die at the time of the first death (death Aadi) and still has a relationship with the body (life-e-barzakhi), but dies at the time of the second death (death-e-haqiqi) when Hazrat Israfiel Alaihi Salam will blow

Page 6: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

6

the trumpet the first time. The same Rooh with the same body will be originated at the time when Hazrat Israfiel Alaihi Salam will blow the trumpet the second time. (Life-e-haqiqi). What are Mufrad (single) & murakkab (compound), Johar & arz (zaat & siffat)? What is wahdatul wajood & shahood? Wajib & non Hadis,Mumkin & Hadis,Mahal & its kinds In reality,Zaat is an entity which exist by himself (self existent & non created, ghair-e-hadis, Wajib-ul-wajood), and is free of any weight or mass. (Jissam) This is only true for Allah Ta’ala. So nothing exists except Allah Ta’ala. None can have the wajood like the existence (wajood) of Allah Ta’ala. Everything other than Allah Taala is the Daleel & evidence (witnesses) of the self-existence (wajood) and oneness of Allah Ta’ala. This is the true meaning of Wahdatul Wajood and shahood, Wajibul Wajood and Towheed of Allah Ta’ala. There's no mushabahat & mamasalat, comparison & match, resemblance & similarities between the Holy Zaat, Siffaat of Allah Ta’ala (Creator) and the Zaat, Siffaat of Ghair e Allah (creation). There's nothing common between them except the words zaat & siffaat. That's why none can be alike or equal (shareek or barabar) partner or shared of Allah Ta’ala. Shirakat and musawat with Allah Taala is absolutely impossible, logically and Islamically. So Holy Zaat (self-being) is neither Johar nor is Jissam like creation. But the other definition of Zaat is an entity which is created from non-existence (Addamعددمم) (Hadis & mumkinul wajood) to existence by Allah Taala in reality, but apparently exists because of its own weight or mass (jissam) and is given the first death to go to Aalim e Barzakh, and will be annihilated (second death) to non-existence (Madoom) by Allah Ta’ala. This is only true for all zawaat of other than Allah Ta’ala (ghair-e-Allah). Wajib is that who is self existed & non created. Whose self existence is compulsory but whose creation & death, annihilation & non existence is absolutely impossible. Therefore cannot have the relation with the Power of Allah Ta’ala. Mumkin is that who's created & excited from non existence by Allah Taala therefore mumkin is under the power and Will of Allah Ta’ala. Whose creation and existence is neither compulsory nor is impossible Mahal is that whose creation or existence from non existence is absolutely impossible because cannot have relation with the Power of Allah Ta’ala. Therefore its non existence is compulsory and existence is absolutely impossible.

( and Fitrat) Q-10,What is the qallab and it's place? Ans-Qallab is the latifa, present in the heart which advises the rooh positively. Q-11,What is the nafs and it's place and kinds:nafs-e-lawama, mutmainna, & ammara? -Humans and jins are ze-nafs creation, Angels are not (If humans get control over nafs, humans will be better than angels and if nafs of a human has control over his rooh & qallab then that human is worst than animals.) Ans-Nafs is a latifa in the heart which advises the rooh negativity usually, always trying to get control over qallab. If the nafs gets control over the qallab, then the nafs is known as nafs e imara and if the qallab gets control over the nafs, then the nafs is known as nafs e lawama & mutma-inna. Q-12,What is aqqal and it's importance? What are it's important parts: id,ego, and superego, basic instincts, subconscious, conscious,& conscience etc.? Ans-Aqqal is that part of the brain where the thinking process takes place. It is connected to the subconscious (id,basic instincts), conscious (ego), and conscience (super ego). These all have a wireless connection with the heart & rooh, qallab & nafs.

Page 8: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

8

Q-13,What is the aqqal of the heart? Ans-Like the brain, eyes, and ears of the body, the Rooh has all of those capabilities (tafakkar & baseerat). Q-14, How does Shatan attack? What is the differences between a shatan & nafs attack? Ans- Shatan has the approach to the nafs of the heart. Usually, shatan and nafs work together to destroy the whole system of the human; responsible for all bad manners and sins earned by human. Nafs tries his best to achieve the desires means nafs don't change his desire but shatan changes his desire when one desire does not fulfilled Q-15,How do angels & Auliyya Allah help us?

Ans-Rasoolallah & all prophets, angels & Auliyya Allah has the power given by Allah Ta’ala to approach to the rooh and heart, qallab & nafs of all humans. That's why Allah Ta’ala says:

Surah Al-Baqara, Ayah 129 Q-16, How do the rooh & qallab, nafs & brain (aqqal) work? Id, ego (Brain), super ego, self respect Subconscious, conscious, consciences

Q-17,How is it easy for some to follow shariah but hard for others? - What's life and what's death? - What's the meaning of the death of rooh and the death of nafs?

فنافی هللا بقا باهللا - Finah fillah baqi billah -Total submission to Allah Taala- sharie meaning of ibaadat

مووتوواا قبلل االمووتت- Mooto qabbal almoot -Die before your death Ans-It's easier for a Muslim of strong iman to follow shariat because of the control over nafs but it is hard for a muslim of weak iman to follow shariat because nafs controls him. Q-18,Why humans need a revealed religion? Necessity of religion and khilafat of Allah

Ta’ala, Rasoolallah . Ans-To know what is jaiz and what is najaiz for humans. To know the Raza of Allah Ta’ala, creator, have peace and justice, happiness and prosperity, real success here and hereafter. It is common logic that any state or society, country or community, and its things, especially humans, cannot survive, can't have peace & prosperity, justice & security, happiness & success without a perfect system (Religion) and a perfect authority. (Wilayat, prophethood & non prophethood, Imamat & Imarat, niyyabat & khilafat.) Human-made systems and human-selected or chosen authority can't be perfect and competent and cannot be responsible for the real success hereafter, humans spiritual and natural needs, therefore the revealed religion and Allah's chosen & selected authority are the basic humans need for peace & prosperity, justice & security, real success & happiness of humans and their societies. All religions other than religion Islam are either totally human-made or distorted by their followers, therefore Allah Taala says: The necessity of an Imam, authority, along with the revealed religion is so obvious that without the authorized and empowered, sincere & loyal imam, the implementation of the religion is absolutely impossible. That's how Allah Ta’ala established His khilafat by His beloved

representative Rasoolallah and established the khilafat of Rasoolallah in the form of

prophethood of all prophets after the creation and before the birth of Rasoolallah , and

established the khilafat of Rasoolallah in the form of non-prophethood Wilayat of Auliyya

Allah after the death of Rasoolallah until the Qiyyamat so that no one can make any excuse at the Day of Judgement.

Q-19,What are the purposes of revealing a religion? Ans-The primary purpose of revealing religion is to believe in it truly and the secondary purpose of revealing religion is to obey it properly. Q-20,Why do humans need to believe in revealed religion truly? Ans-Because the obedience of religion is useless without believing in it truly. Q-21,What are the purposes of the creation of humans? - Humans need to believe in oneness of Allah Ta’ala. - Who is my creator & Who am I?

منن عررفف نفسهھ فقدد عررفف رربهھ Ans-Love and Recognition of Allah Taala by wondering about the universe and its things, especially the human himself.

Love of Rasoolallah and Auliyya Allah. Love without recognition (muarfat) is absolutely impossible. Allah Ta’ala entrusted His love (uns) in the soul of every human at the time of the covenant (misaq), that's why human is named insan and that's also why everyone looks (in search) for Allah Ta’ala after the birth, therefore it is the basic and spiritual human need to believe in the oneness of Allah Ta’ala. Because of using the wrong source of searching, humans can't recognize Allah Ta’ala, and get astray from the right goal, path. When they use their brains as a source, they refuse to believe in Allah Ta’ala! like philosophers and scientists, agnostics and atheists. When they used their senses as a source, they started worshipping the signs of Allah Ta’ala (Ma'az Allah) like all kinds of polytheist. The same is true for people of the book who recognize blasphemy & kufr as iman & islam, shirk & biddat as towheed & sunnat because of the same reason. Similarly, opposite to the people of book, the hypocrites who declare & express Islam, but they are either apostates or heretics because of their wrong beliefs, recognize Iman & Islam as blasphemy & kufr, towheed & sunnat as shirk & Biddaat because of the same reason. Q-22,What are the purposes of Iman?

Ans-The primary purpose of iman is the love of Rasoolallah and the secondary purpose of iman is the obedience of religion.

Q-23,Why is the Love of Allah Taala, Rasoolallah & Auliyya Allah invalid without true faith?(iman)

Ans-Iman is the prerequisite of the love of Rasoolallah and ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala.

Page 11: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

11

Q-24, Why and how is the ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala (obedience of religion) invalid without

iman & love of Rasoolallah ?

- What's the essence of iman and love of Rasoolallah ? Meaning without it, Iman & love of

Rasoolallah is invalid!

Ans-Love of Rasoolallah is the essential of iman and ibaadat. Ibaadat is the signs of iman & love. Expression of truth (haq) & refutation of falsehood (batil), total dissociation, social boycott (izhar i bazari, dealings & business, salam & kalam, talking & greetings, treaty's & alliance, union & get together etc.) heartily & openly, in sayings & with actions with all kinds of apostates & heretics whether open or hidden (Sullah Qullie), the people of humanity or interfaith, the people of alliance or unity, the people of religious or sociocultural brotherhood etc. Q-25,Why do humans need Auliyya Allah along with revealed religion? (prophethood & wilayat?

-Why humans need the Naib of Allah Taala? Rasoolallah ! How Allah Ta’ala made him

Awwalul khalq and Assalul khalq and why humans need the successors of Rasoolallah ?

۔ميیںں اايیک چهھپا خززاانہہ تهھا ميیںں نے چاہا

کہہ پہچانا جاووںں توو مخلووقق کوو پيیدداا کيیا

Ans-For tasdeeq & muarfat of deen, for itaat & iqamat of deen.

Q-26,Why do humans need the Wasila of Rasoolallah to Allah Ta’ala?

Surah Al-Maida, Ayah 53 -Why do humans get astray without Auliyya Allah, only by using their brains & senses? -What is the value of Auliyya Allah in doing the tazkiya nafs of others? Ans-Necessity of wasila is obvious from revealing religion along with prophet because like humans are unable to get religion from Allah Taala similarly tasdeeq and muarfat of deen is

above the humans brain and senses that's why Allah Taala made Rasoolallah wasila

between Him and His whole creation,And made His Auliyya wasila between Rasoolallah and

Page 12: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

12

His whole creation means none can approach Allah Taala directly without the wasila of

Rasoolallah and none can approach Rasoolallah without Auliyya Allah. This system of wasila is established by Allah Taala who is causer of the causes (Musababal Asbab) and is Himself free of any wasila (sabab reason) and any musabbab, need. Humans can't survive without this system. That's why Allah Taala says:

Surah Muhummed, Ayah 38 Q-28,What's the meaning of "when the purpose is wrong, its absolutely impossible to achieve the goal”? "When the source of research is wrong then it's absolutely impossible to achieve the goal”? Ans-The answer to the second part of the question is clear in the answer of question number 21. The answer of the first part of the question is so obvious e.g, a person has to go to destination A which is located in the east, but he is going to destination B which is located in the west. Can he reach his real destination A? Never! Why? The reason is obvious. Because of the same reason that the people of Humanity, interfaith and the people of alliance or unity or brotherhood got astray which because they believe that the purpose of the creation of humans is the worship of Allah Ta’ala, so the people of every faith are worshipping Allah Ta’ala, therefore no one is wrong, everyone is right. They live together and be united. They should not refute each other on the basis of religion and faith. Though the purpose of the creation of humans is not the worship of Allah Taala, but is the recognition and love of Allah Ta’ala through the recognition and love of

Rasoolallah and Auliyya Allah. Q-29, What is Deen? Revelation? Ans-Literally, Deen has two meanings 1-Aitaqad: That's why deen is known as mazhab, iman islam & vice versa. 2-Path: That's why deen is known as shariat & vice versa.

Deen is the name of everything which is revealed upon prophet (Rasoolallah ) directly and indirectly from Allah Ta’ala. So religion consists of the principles, rules & laws, daleels & saboots, events & Ahkam Aitaqadi & Ammli, badihi &istadali, qatti & zanni, ijmai & ijtahadi, orders of permission, prohibitions & mubah. Briefly, religion consists of two kinds of ahkam, based on this Religion its classified into two main parts, Ahkam e Aitaqadi (Mazhab) and Ahkam e Ammli (Shariat & tareeqat). Ahkam Aitaqadi (Mazhab) of every revealed religion is the same & common, but Ahkam Ammli (shariat & tareeqat) of every revealed religion are different. Ijma & Ijtahad is necessary in zanni Ahkam e Aitaqadi & Ammli because without ijma & ijtahad, Muslims can't act upon them. Shariat ==>path<== Deen ==>aitaqad<==Iman ==>muarfat Tareeqat =>path <=Mazhab =>aitaqad<==Islam==>ita'at (Maslak, Musharrab)

Page 13: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

13

Q-30,What are events? Ans-Events of the past and future are mentioned in the revelation. Q-31,What is hukkam and its kinds? Ammer, Nahi and ikhtiyyar Aitaqadi and Ammli. Ans-Hukkam is that speech of shariat because of which a thing is either allowed (jaiz) to do or not allowed (najaiz) to do. If it is allowed then depending upon whether it is ordered or not, jaiz is sub classified into Ammer (compulsory) & Mubah (optional). Ammers are further classified into five types based upon the strength of daleels & evidences: 1-Farz 2-Wajib 3-Sunnat e Muakda 4-Sunnat e non Muakda 5-Nawafil The relationship of jaiz and sunnat is nisbat e tasawi meaning that every jaiz is sunnat and every sunnat is jaiz because technically sunnat is that which has some base qulliyatan or juzziyatan in the principles of deen: Quran or Hadees, ijma or ijtahad, that is the definition of jaiz. According to the need of time, Mubah becomes compulsory. Similarly, if it's najaiz then depending upon whether is prohibited or having no base in the principles of deen, Najaiz are classified into prohibited (nahi) and Biddaat which are further classified into kufria and non kufria based on whether it's blasphemy or not. Non kufria najaiz are sub divided into five kinds depending upon the strength of daleels and saboots: 1-Haram 2-Makrooh e tahreemi 3-Assaat 4-Makrooh e tanzeehi 5-Khilaf e aula. Najaiz kufria, nahi and Biddaat is technically called absolute blasphemy which is sub-classified into open & hidden blasphemy depending upon open refusal of religion Islam and having wrong beliefs in religion. Hidden blasphemy is divided into apostasy and heresy which are further classified into mujaher apostasy & heresy, and hidden apostasy & heresy. (Sullah qulliyat ).

Ans- The Ahkam e Aitaqadi of a religion are technically known as mazhab. Literally, mazhab has two meanings :1-aitaqad 2-path: that's why mazhab is known as deen and vice versa. Q-33,What is shariat (maslak ,fiq) and tareeqat (tasawaf, musharrab)? Ans- The Ahkam e Ammli of a revealed religion are technically known as Shariat (compulsory) & Tareeqat (Optional). Literally shariat & tareeqat, maslak & musharrab mean path. Q-What is the difference between deen & mazhab, deen & shariat, Mazhab & shariat, shariat & tareeqat?

Deen. Every thing revealed upon Rasoolallah directly and indirectly from Allah Taala ,is the name of Ahkam Aitaqadi and Ahkam Ammli Mazhab. Q-35,What is daleel & saboot and its kinds? Ans-Daleel is the saying to prove something (dawa) it can be logical and sammai and Saboot is the form of a daleel. There are four kinds of these because of being qatti and zanni: 1-Qatti ud daleel & Qatti ussaboot ( For a thing to be Farz or haram) 2-Qatti ud daleel & Zanni ussaboot 3-Zanni ud daleel & Qatti ussaboot (For a thing to be wajib or makrooh) 4-Zanni ud daleel&Zanniussaboot (For a thing to be sunnati muakada & non muakada or assat & makroohi tanzeehi) Q-36,What are necessities of deen and mazhab of islam ? Ans-The Necessities of deen are those Ahkam Aitaqadi and Ammli of religion which are well known to every khas & aam muslims. e.g,every muslim knows that Rasoolallah is the last and final prophet meaning it is absolutely impossible for a new prophet to come, five times prayers are obligatory upon a muslim, etc. The Necessities of Mazhab are those Ahkam of deen or word or name which become the identity of the mazhab (aqeeda, faith) e.g, deen Islam distinguishes it from all other religions, the mazhab ahle sunnat wajamat distinguishes it from all the other mazhabs especially mazhab shia. Maslak & Fiqah (taqleed shakhsi) distinguishes between muqallad from non muqallad sunnies (non shias). Tasawaf distinguishes sufies from non sufies (Those who don't believe in tasawaf). Similarly, the celebration of the birth of Holy prophet (milad) is the identity of miladi ahle sunnat and distinguishes it from all non miladi sunni (wahabi & deobandi muqallad & non muqallad wahabis, so called ahle quran, ahle Hadees and ahle towheed etc.) maslak Aala Hazrat, Baralvi distinguishes between miladi Baralvi from sullah Qullie miladi. So tark e muamlat with all kinds of heretics (bad mazhabs) is the necessity of mazhab of religion Islam which is strongly prohibited by shariat. (Haram Qatti) Q-37,What is jaiz (permitted) & sunnat ? Ans-Jaiz is that which is either ordered (ammar) or not (mubah).

Page 16: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

16

Q-38,What is ammar (compulsory) and mubah (optional) & theirs kinds? Ans-Ammar are classified into Farz ,Wajib, sunnat e muakada & non muakada, nawafil & mustahab depending upon the strength of daleel and saboot. Mubah is that jaiz & sunnat which is neither ordered nor prohibited, that's why mubah is lawful & sunnat. According to the need of time, mubah (optional) becomes compulsory, especially when it becomes the identity of the mazhab of religion Islam Q-39,What is najaiz & its kinds? Ans-Nahi & Biddaat Q-40,What is Nahi & Biddaat and the kinds ? Ans-Nahi is that which has the prohibition and Biddaat is that which has no base in principles of deen. Q-41,What are the kinds of non-kufria ? Ans-Haram, Makrooh tahreemi, Assat, Makrooh tanzeehi Q-42,What is Biddaat and what are the kinds of Biddaat? Ans- Biddaat Hasna & Biddaat Sayya, Biddaat Ammli & Aitaqadi, Biddaat non mukafra & Mukafra, Apostasy & Heresey mujahiras & munafiqas (Sullah Qulliyat). Addition into & Reduction from deen, Recognition of jaiz of shariat as najaiz and vice versa. Ans-Literally Biddaat means anything which is new, having no model or base previously, that's technically named as Hadis which can be right or wrong depending upon the hukkam of shariat applied on it. It's very clear that every hadis is not wrong or bad, that's why islamic scholars have to classify Biddaat into B. hasna, good, which is a sunnat in reality by Islamic ruling, that's

why Rasoolallah says: and B. siaha, bad, which is Biddaat in real sense. Technically Biddaat is a thing whether a wrong belief or wrong action which does not have any base in the principles of deen qulliyatan

or juzziyatan, such kind of Biddaat is dhalalat. That's why Rasoolallah says: So Biddaat is not only the addition of a baseless thing into the deen but also the reduction of any thing which has the basis in the principles of shariat, from deen. Any belief or action against the Islamic faith & sunnat is a Biddaat. Biddaat is the opposite of true & right faith (Iman) so anything which is against Iman is Biddaat e.g Any doubt or reservation about any thing of deen is Biddaat. Recognition of jaiz, lawful of shariat as najaiz, unlawful or vice versa is also a Biddaat.

Q-43,What is sunnat and its kinds? Ans-Literally, sunnat means the path or a way.

Commonly, sunnat is only the way of life of Rasoolallah , his sayings, (sunnat qawli), actions (sunnat e faili), and approval (sunnat e taqreeri). That's why sunnat is classified as such:

> Sunnat Qowli is that action which Rasoolallah himself didn't perform but ordered or allowed his ummat to do e. g , coloring of beard with mahndi.

> Sunnat Faili and Qowli is that action which Rasoolallah himself did and allow or order his ummat to do it e. g,five times prayers and namaz e tahajjad.

Page 19: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

19

> Sunnat taqreeri is that action which Rasoolallah himself didn't perform but his companions

did it or said something in front of Rasoolallah but Rasoolallah didn't stop them because it was allowed in shariat, that's why every jaiz by shariat is technically sunnat & vice versa, and this is the main proof of anything, having a base in religion to be lawful & sunnat e.g. celebrating

the milad of the Holy Prophet is lawful & sunnat because it is neither prohibited nor ordered,

but is allowed by shariat, whether it is done by Rasoolallah & his companions in their time or not. >Technically, Sunnat is the practical path proven by usool (principles) of shariat (Quran or Hadees, Ijma or ijtahad). This is the main difference between sunnat and Hadees. Sunnat is proved from the principles of deen, but Hadees is one of the principles of deen. Sunnat can be a belief or action but usually represent the actions, on the other hand, its opposite, Biddaat, can be wrong beliefs or wrong action, but usually represents the wrong beliefs (blasphemy). That's why Biddaat is also the opposite of iman/islam and is synonymous to dhalalat. Q-44,What are the usool(principles)-e-deen? Ans-There are four. 1-Quran pak 2-Hadees Sharief 3- Ijma of mujtahids 4-ijtahad of mujtahids Q-45,What is Quran ? Ans-Quran is the Holy Kalam (saying) of Allah Taala, consist of words (text), and the intending meaning of text which represents Kalam of Allah Ta’ala. Q-46,What is Hadees? What is the difference between Hadees & sunnat ?

Ans-Hadees is the Holy Kalam (saying) of Rasoolallah , consists of words with the intending

meaning of the Rasoolallah . Q-47,What is Ijma ? Ans-Ijma is the consensus of mujtahids on those Ahkam e zanni of Holy Quran and Hadees where Ijtahad can't be done.e.g, the selection of four Khalifas of islamic state was because of Ijma Q-48,What is Ijtahad ? Ans-Ijtahad is the deduction of hukkam from a zanni command of holy Quran and Hadees by looking for the common illat in another command of the Holy Quran and Hadees e.g,alcohol is prohibited by shariat because of intoxication (nasha) therefore morphine is also prohibited by shariat because of this reason.

Page 20: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

20

Q-49, Why is Ijtahad necessary? How & Why is the a difference in Ijtahad of different mujtahids allowed & right? How is taqleed mutlaq mandatory and taqleed shakhsi compulsory? -Ikhtalaf of ummah is rahmat !

Ummat of Rasoolallah , Ijabat & Dawat, Awaleen & Akhareen ? Ans-If the mujtahids don't do ijtahad in Ahkam zanni of Holy Quran and Hadees, how can non

mujtahids muslims follow those zanni Ahkam> that's why Allah Ta’ala and Rasoolallah order the mujtahids to do ijtahad in zanni Ahkam of Quran and Hadees and order us, the non mujtahids muslims, to follow their Ijtahad. Zanni hukkam is that which has more than one meaning, that's why the ijtahad of one mujtahid is different than the ijtahad of another mujtahid, but ijtahads of all mujtahids are right because

they all do the ijtahad in the light of rules and laws of shariat, That's why Rasoolallah says: The mujtahid who is right in the ijtahad, will get ten rewards from Allah Taala and the mujtahid who is not right in his ijtahad, will still get one reward from Allah Taala. When the ijtahads of all mujtahids are right then why cant non mujtahids muslims follow the ijtahads of all the mujtahids? Logically, it's clear that why would a non mujtahid want to follow all the mujtahids when the mujtahid he is following is right? The answer of this is because of his desire, so he follows his desire not the shariat which is not only strongly prohibited but is shirk and kufr (infidelity) in the light of Holy Quran. This is the reason why taqleed mutlaq is mandatory upon all non mujtahids muslims (muqallad) and why taqleed shakhsi is compulsory (wajib) upon muqallad muslims, and why talfeeq is haram upon muqallad muslims and why it's haram upon muqallad Muslims to leave his own fiq to adopt another fiq e.g, from hanfi to shafi and vice versa. Q-50,What are the mujtahid & muqallad muslims? What are the abbad & its kinds ? Ans-There are only two kinds of Muslims from the beginning because of the ability of doing ijtahad or not. It's absolutely impossible to be a non muqallad muslim meaning neither a mujtahid nor a muqallad. Mujtahid is one of the kinds of walli of Allah, it will be discussed in detail later in the topic of wilayat. The necessity of wilayat, ijtahadi & non ijtahadi is obvious from this discussion. Literally abbad means creation and servant or slave that,s the reason, the word abbad as creation is used only Allah Taala e.g,abbad or creation of Allah Ta’ala but the word abbad as

slave or slave can be used for other than Allah Taala e.g,abbad or slave of Rasoolallah .To earn the slavery(ghulami) of Rasoolallah is the command of Allah Ta’ala. There are three kinds of abbad: 1-Abbad e ma'azoon who are authorized and empowered by Allah Ta’ala (Auliyya Allah). 2-Abbad e non ma'azoon, muttaqi and non muttaqi muslims. 3-Abbad e abbaq all non Muslims

Page 21: Basic Islamic Fiqah-Study Guide.pdf

All the creation of Allah Ta’ala is the ummat of Rasoolallah , those who believe in the revealed religion (islam) truly is the ummat. Ijabat Awaleen & Akhareen and those who either refuse to believe in revealed religion or have wrong beliefs in the revealed religion is the ummat Dawaat.
