10 PASST ZU IHREM PROJEKT – UND ZU INTERNATIONALEN NORMEN

QUALITÄT

Qualität ist bei BILTON Standard. Dazu zählt auch, dass unsere LED-Module BILTONONE internationale Normen einhalten. So können Sie sich stets sicher sein, auf der wirklich sicheren Seite zu sein.

Im internationalen Markt für LEDs und LED-Anwendungen gewinnen Standards und Normen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Standards für konventionelle Leuchten wurden teilweise für so manches Produkt der LED-Technologie und deren Anwendungen übernommen. Doch hinsichtlich Sicherheit und funktioneller Eigenschaften der LED-Technologie lassen sich diese Normen und Standards nicht vollständig mit jenen der konventionellen Leuchtmittel vergleichen. Darum sind separate Normen für diese eigenständigen LED-Anwendungen notwendig geworden.

Die für LED-Module geltenden Richtlinien werden von unseren Produkten erfüllt. Dies gilt für die Anforderungen an die elektrische Sicherheit gemäß DIN EN 62031 und die photobiologische Sicherheit gemäß DIN EN 62471. Für die Performance d. h. funktionellen Eigenschaften von LEDs sowie deren Anwendungen für den Allgemeinbereich befinden sich Normen in Vorbereitung. Hier werden spezifische Testmethoden rund um die Entwicklung von LED-Leuchten als künftiger Standard festgelegt. Inhalt dieser Norm sind Testvorschriften zur Abschätzung der Zuverlässigkeit und Lebensdauer von LED-Modulen bzw. -Leuchten.

Zur Produktkennzeichnung mit dem CE-Kennzeichen gilt es, spezielle Richtlinien zu berücksichtigen. Hier kommen in unserer Herstellung von linearen LED-Produkten die Niederspannungsrichtlinie 2006/95/EG sowie die EMV-Richtlinie 2004/108/EG zur Verwendung. Die EMV-Richtlinie muss in ihrer Gesamtheit inklusive Konverter und Steuerung betrachtet werden.

Ein Muss ist daher die Norm zur Bestimmung von Performance und Zuverlässigkeit von LED-Modulen. Die technische Spezifikation IEC PAS 62717 legt im Vorfeld der Verabschiedung einer Norm die künftigen Anforderungen an LED-Module für die Allgemeinbeleuchtung fest. Die BILTON-Produkte erfüllen bereits heute die dort definierten Anforderung. Die Norm IEC PAS 62722-2-1 gilt hingegen für LED-Leuchten und legt die Performance und speziellen Anforderungen hierfür fest. Unsere Datenangabe für lineare Beleuchtung gehen bereits heute mit dem Großteil der wichtigsten Angaben dieser Normenvorschläge konform.

11TO SUIT YOUR PROJECT AND THE INTERNATIONAL NORMS

Quality is standard at BILTON. Our LED module BILTONONE, complies with international norms so that you can be sure you have made the right choice.

The standards and norms in the international market for LEDs and LED applications are increasingly gaining in importance. Whilst the standards for conventional lighting have been overtaken by LED technology in one or the other applications, as yet when it comes to the safety and functional characteristics of LED technology, these are not fully comparable with those of conventional lighting. This is why separate norms have become necessary for these stand alone LED uses.

Our products comply with the relevant norms. Specifically the requirements of the electrical safety norm DIN EN 62031 and that of the photobiological safety norm according to DIN EN 62471. There are norms in preparation for the performance and functional properties of LEDs as well as their use. In the future, there will be specific test methods for the development of LED lighting and these will set the standards. The content of these norms will be developed around current testing methods which aim to measure the reliability and lifetime of LED modules i.e. lighting.

For product labelling with the CE kite mark there are specific directives which must be adhered to. In our production we use the linear led low-voltage production directive 2006/95/EG as well as EMV directive 2004/108/EG. The EMV directive needs to be considered in its entirety including converter and controller.

Therefore, a norm which determines the performance and readability of LEDs is essential. The technical specification IEC PAS 62717 is likely to be adopted as the norm for future LED and general lighting. The BILTON products already fulfil these requirements. The norm IEC PAS 62722-2-1 sets specific performance requirements for LED lighting. Our data information for linear lighting already conforms with these norms suggestions to a greater degree.

We offer this because we are convinced of our product innovation for the future, in both design and quality. This 5 year guarantee covers the complete BILTON International system including ballast or power supplies. In addition the lot traceability is still available after the system guarantee has expired, which means that product availability is secured. Only wearing parts are excluded from this guarantee. That the LEDs themselves are included, is a given.

The only condition is prompt registration.

The guarantee is given under the terms that the installation project is registered by the client online (for the building) at the latest 30 days after the date of invoice.

Geeignet für alle BILTONONE-Module in Single- und Multicolour-Ausführung, ermöglicht die Direktverbindung mit weiteren BILTONONE-Modulen. Gehäuse aus PC weiß. Flammfestigkeitsstufe V1. Kontaktierung der Module durch einfaches Einschieben in den Connector. Zusätzliche Sicherung durch Verriegelung an der Oberseite, nicht demontierbar. L x B x H = 9,2 x 9,2 x 4,2 mm, RoHS-konform.

They are suitable for all BILTONONE modules whether single or multicolour, and allow further BILTONONE modules to be connected directly to one another. The casing is made of white PC which has a flame resistance level of V1. The modules are connected to each other by simply clicking the connectors together and closing the additional lock panel on the upper side.
