Kika fundraising campaign Several Alphens’ shopkeepers have been kind enough to clear a spot for my Kika fundraising tins on their counters. Recently I picked up on of my first fundraising tins, the one located at Visspecialist Sluizeman. Thanks to their generous clientele I was able to add 60 euros to my Kika page, but more fantastic is that the owners Jack and Angelique Hendriks decided to double the amount!

But if you happen to have any spare change lying around. Come any shop at Simon Lévelt Alphen aan den Rijn, at HIP fashion for kids or at Martinez chocolatier Alphen you can also find my fundraising tin there.

BIONDA RUNS FOR KIKA Fundraising campaign | First steps | HMC runs for Kika

In shortMy name is Bionda van Roosendaal, I am 34 year old, mom of two girls of 4 and 1 year old and from Alphen aan den Rijn. On 24 April 2016 I will run 42,2 km during the run for Kika Marathon in London. I hope to raise at least 5000 euro for the great cause Kika. All contributions are most welcome, will you also help cure children cancer?

The first steps of 2016With the start of the new year my marathon training has really started, but I noticed also the first training discomforts. Especially my left foot is not very happy with all that running. So for the first time in my life I went to the fysio and I subjecten myself to the strong and capable hands of a sport masseuse. On advice of the fysio I visited Podocentrum Groene Hart for some customized insoles and had to buy some new running shoes at Running & Walking center, in Alphen aan den Rijn. Furthermore I enjoyed the professional treatment of Yvonne Verheijen, pedicure in training that pampered my aching feet, which she will keep on doing in the weeks up to and after the marathon. Happy to note that all that pampering seems to pay off, so London marathon here we come!

HMC runs for KikaWith 2016 also a year started that several runners from Heerema Marine Contractors (My own employer) Have decided to cimmic their running kilometers for charity. On the 10 of January 20 HMC runners battend against

the elements on the beach and trough dunes at the Halve van Egmond. What a though race! But what a great feeling to pass the finish line and to also know that we also managed to raise a lot of sponsoring for Kika.
