Awesomeness
There are two kinds ofprophecies that Yechezkel has:the
prophecies about
destruction those aboutsalvation. Our Haftarah focuseson the
prophecies of salvation.
What would you expect to bein such a prophecy? Somethinglike the
Vision of the Valley ofDry Bones or about us returninghome to the
Land of Israel.
Instead, the Haftarah speaksof sacrices in the BeitHaMikdash,
how to givekorbanot, and who sacrices what.
Didn't we cover that inVayikra? True, the Haftarahtalks about
the Third BeitHaMikdash, but what is theneed to mention all
thesetechnical details?
I think we can learnsomething about our life fromthis Haftarah:
Many times,
while thinking about what ourpersonal salvation might looklike,
we imagine it much more
glamorous and di"
erent thanreality, as life itself is lled withmany technical
details.
However, those technicalsides of life are signicant andspecial.
For example: the dreamof getting married, alwaysthinking it will
look like theemoji with hearts in its eyes, when in fact marriage
issomething that requiresconstant maintenance, including# by the
two $ washing the dishesand laundry, or dreaming ofchildren and
thinking it's likedressing a doll with a smell ofroses, when it's
not always thescent of roses.
It is a glamorous and specialsalvation, not because it
lackstechnicality, but rather, becauseof the technical details,
whichmake it in to what it truly is.

Brigade, alone soldier from Colombia; Nili and

know.
