Hopefully the first cast will be taken off in '3 to 4 weeks, the screw removed and another cast put on the leg. Ri^it no w Gerry i s back home, but flat en his back in bed. Th e Surgeon promised him he could be up on ciutches in a fe w weeks, BUT the cast must stay on three months.     CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

    Plan^ for the Christmas Festival are beginning to take shape and several of us arereally getting excited about this very specialcelebration scheduled for Sunday eveningDecember the 23rd. "The Birthday of ourChrist." Thanksgiving Isn't even here yet, butthat's alright. I've discovered that In preparing for Christmas and all that It means tome spiritually. Thanksgiving Is more meaningful as well. 1 am so thankful that the Lordloved me and does love me enough that He wouldcome to earth Just to save me. 1 am thankfulfor my family and my Church family.     to western Mexico for more than 25 years.This fall Geneva wanted very much to go toAustria to be with her daughter at the birthof her child and stay with her for a coupleof weeks. The daughter and her husbandare working as missionaries at the T.C.M. InAustria. Just a few days before Geneva wasto leave Mexico her husband Gerald fellfrom a ladder and Injured his leg seriously.He broke both bones near the ankle. One bonerequlrecjL a screw to hold It together. When1t.:Xs,;,healed the screw will have to be removedAn Li jeer formed where the splintered bonehad J^^jJured the-lag-on the TnsWe.The-casts4-had to have an open place so the ulcer couId-be cared for. Now he has his 5th castand they hope his last one.He can't be up, but a very short time eachday on crutches^ but he still works oncorrespondance, paper work for the missionand counclling from his bed.Geneva says he Is a good patient, but verydemanding some times. She Is a registerednurse, which helps.She asks for prayers for his recovery andthat the funds will come In to pay themounting medical expenses.The W.C.S.G. had sent a love offering toGeneva for her trip to be with her daughter.Since she couldn't go she returned the money..The W.C.S.G. have decided that there Is nomore worthy cause that they can think ofthan to help pay brother Bowl Ins medicalexpenses so we have decided to send It back-foT^that purpose. - ~
