focusFocus on what is most important in life. Photography puts this principle into practice. While you are looking through the lens you have to choose where you want your focus. You have to think what you want the point to be--what matters most.

The same principal can be used in life. Where do you want your focus? What do you want most out of life? Do you have a certain dream? Let that be your focus.

This series of photos is focused on three things, life, creativity, and perspective. I used a 50mm lens to get a good shallow depth of field and to make sure the focus was in just one place. Photos are stunning and life is beautiful when you have focus in your life. Enjoy.

colorSee life in color. Photography puts this principle into practice as well. We see color everywhere we go. It is a challenge to capture true color sometimes. But when you do, it can be so powerful.

I found it is best to capture color with the help of a macro lens and an LED light. I also must admit that I use some after effects in editing to get it even closer to what the naked eye captures. Playing with color is fun and allows me to get creative. Through the lens I am able to see things differently and have people look at an everyday house hold item, like an aloofa, tomato, or flowers with a new perspective. The colors explode with this series of macro shots. Enjoy.

experienceExperience life to the fullest. This is one of the best principles photography teaches. Everyone has different expriences which, make us individuals. These experiences make us who we are and fuel our creativity with the different perspective we are given.

Photography is individual so it has that ability to capture that personal creativity, point of view, and outlook on life. No one photo is the same. Take this strawberry for example. Is it still just an ordinary strawberry? Of course! But because of my personal experience, creativity and perspective this has now become a whole new strawberry. Enjoy.

lifeLife is beautiful it is as simple as that. Through focus, color, and experiences we can really say that we lived. There are countless times when I get so caught up in life that I quite simply forget to live. That is why I have found my passion in photography.

Photography has given me that chance to live. Photography has given me that wllingness to travel, get out, explore and discover new things. Photography has pushed me to my limits in creativity, in which I always suprise myself. Photography has given me hope and peace when I need it. Photography has been my outlet to the world. That is why this series of photos is about moments in life--three girl friends laughing and enjoying eachother’s company, simply stoping while on a drive to take a photo of a leaf, and looking back on a long journey to see how far you have come. This book is a depiction about life.

My favorite part of photography is looking through the lens.

I get to anticipate and see my vision come to life at this stage. There is so much to see through the lens of a camera. There are new perspectives and it helps push me to see things in a new light and perspective.

Photography is a beautiful art that takes a good eye and skill to master. I believe I am on my way to greatness. No matter what I will always have a deep love for my camera, and life itself. I want to finish this life saying that I lived, and I lived a great life full of focus, color, experience, and simply life.
