Pour son premier séjour aux Portes du Soleil, toute la famille se réjouit de découvrir la variété des activités et paysages du domaine. Le voyage aura lieu l’année prochaine, mais Paul et Monika hésitent encore quant à la période.

Pour Monika, qui a déjà étudié les possibilités qu’offre le domaine, tant l’été que l’hiver sont appropriés. Elle pense surtout à sa mère, Elisabeth, qui accompagne la famille et apprécie le calme et la tranquillité de la mon-tagne, loin du brouhaha de la ville. Entre bains thermaux, terrasses ensoleillées et immensité des paysages, l’aïeule trouvera le repos dont elle a besoin.

Avec son épouse, Paul espère profiter des marches et des sorties familiales à vélo. Les Portes du Soleil, véri-tables terrain de jeu sportif, garantiront la dose d’adrénaline nécessaire. Les enfants, quant’ à eux, rêvent plu-tôt de versants enneigés, un cadre spectaculaire. Pour se défouler, rien de telle qu’une belle journée de glisse.

Tim préfère le snowboard et espère bien dénicher quelques bons spots alors que Vanessa veut absolument essayer le Mur Suisse, l’une des pistes les plus vertigineuses du monde. Les nombreuses installations méca-niques permettront à chacun de s’évader, le temps d’une escapade de l’autre côté de la frontière pour déguster un bon plat traditionnel du domaine franco-suisse.

In preparing for our first stay in the Portes du Soleil, all our family are looking forward to discover the numerous activities and landscapes to be found in the area. The trip is scheduled for next year but Paul and Monika are still hesitating as to which period will be the most enjoyable.

Monika, who has already studied the possibilities offered in summer and winter, thinks both seasons would be great fun. Her mother, Elisabeth, will be joining the family on this trip. She enjoys the peace and quiet of the mountains, away from the noise of city life. The old lady will be able to choose between hot thermal baths, sun-facing terraces and immaculate landscapes in finding the rest that she looks forward to.

With his wife, Paul hopes to make the most of the hikes and family bike tours. The Portes du Soleil is an unbeatable playground that guarantees adrenalin rushes for all. The kids, on the other hand, are dreaming more of snow-capped peaks, with great slopes, to be found in this spectacular setting. What is better than a sunny day of sliding (skiing?) down the hills?

Tim prefers snowboarding and hopes to find some cool spots whilst Vanessa absolutely wants to defeat the „Swiss Wall“, one of the most challenging ski runs in the world. The numerous ski and chair lifts will allow everyone to es-cape, hopping over the French-Swiss border to taste one of the typical local dishes.
