The Uponor MLCP consists of an overlapped, longi-tudinally welded aluminium pipe with an inner andouter layer of high temperature-resistant polyethyleneaccording to German DIN 16833. All layers are perma-nently bonded together by intermediate adhesive layers.A special welding technique ensures high reliability.The aluminium thickness for Uponor MLCP has beenspecially selected to meet comprehensive and exuralstrength requirements.

Connection with press ttingsfrom 14 to 110 mm

Uponor press ttings are availablefor all practical applications. Theyare made of tin plated brass for allsizes from 14 to 110 mm.

Our composite tting constitutesanother installation option us-ing modern system technology.This tting is made of advancedPPSU (polyphenylsulfone) plasticmaterial. High temperature andpressure resistance, high strength

and suitability for its use withparticularly aggressive water arethe key advantages of this type oftting. Therefore, PPSU material isalso used for medical purposes tosanitise medical appliances.

Our new generation of PPSU t-tings also includes reliable safetyand comes with white stop rings.

All these ttings come with anintegrated window that enablesyou to check whether the pipe hasbeen correctly inserted or not infact during the installation. Inother words: Uponor provides you

with many smart details makinginstallation easier.

Connection with compressionttings from 14 to 25 mm

Our compression tting range hasbeen designed to be user-friendlyand at the same time keepingits high functionality in mind!All ttings are made with incheurocone thread. Your benet: lessstoring and no hazard of mix-up asyou need only one type of screwtting for tap water and radiatorconnection! Also the assembly timesare considerably reduced.

Colour coded stop rings on the well-known and quickto install metal press ttings mark Uponors new ttinggeneration. Each dimension from 14 to 32 mm has itsown colour ensuring simplicity onsite, in warehouseand wholesale. The colour code system makes installa-

tion a mere childs play and reliably prevents any kindof mix-up. The foundation of the system continues tobe the proved and tested Uponor metal press tting -in the new generation now with colour coding. The newttings and pressing jaws have the DVGW approval.

Assembly friendly ttings

The ttings have been designed so that water dis-charges when the tting has not been pressed or

screwed. When the pressure test is carried out withnon-pressed or non-screwed ttings, water will leak outof the tting. Just press the tting or simply tighten thecompression ttings with a wrench. The connection willthen be tight for life-time.

If a connection has not beenpressed yet, it catches theeye twice during the hydraulicpressure test. The colouredstop rings are still there, andadditionally the tting isdesigned to leak water duringthe pressure test. Now simplypress and the connection issealed permanently.

1. PlacingPlace the pressing jaw at the stop ring of thepress sleeve.

2. PressingWhen pressing the stop ring falls apart and offthe press sleeve.

3. TestingThe separated stop rings mark a successfulpressing reliable detection even from a fewmeters distance.

4. InsulatingA continuous pipe insulation can be pushedeffortlessly over the unobstructed connection.

Until today, planning and installation of risers was anextremely complex task. Conventional systems comprisedup to 300 special components and connections had to beassembled on location. Often in great heights or in crampedconfines. But problems like these are a thing of the pastwith the innovative Uponor MLCP Riser System.

Modular system for almost any kind of task

The Uponor MLCP Riser System follows a modular designprinciple. With only 27 components, you can perform anytask that required hundreds of parts up to now. Thus, youcan easily plan standard projects as well as customized solu-tions for particularly tricky challenges. And even in case ofunforeseen problems on the construction site, the systemis highly flexible. With any connection easily being unfixed,you can quickly adjust it to the new task.

Pressing at the workbench

With the Uponor MLCP Riser System, the decisive step ofinstallation is done on the ground, because you can do thepressing conveniently and precisely at the workbench. Onthe construction site, you only have to put the pipes intothe fittings and lock them without any tools. That savestime and additionally ensures the quality of your results.

The Uponor MLCP radiator connection system allowsthe installation of complete heating systems from theboiler to the furthest radiator fast and economically.The system includes components for heat distribution,control and measurement in residential houses and mul-tiple dwellings. The range can easily be combined withall commercially available boilers and radiators.

The Uponor MLCP radiator connection system is acomplete system with numerous components, offeringdiverse connection options. The system is suitable forsingle and two-pipe connection and can be used onall commercially available radiators. The exibility ofthe system allows the use of nearly all pipe installationmethods.
