The present brochure contains the specializations offered by the Babes-Bolyai University at undergraduate level for Admission in 2014.
Further information about the admission can be found at http://admitere.ubbcluj.ro. Please access from this website both the general information on the admission procedure, and the information on the required specializations on the faculties websites. The information can be accessed from the main page menu, at "structure" and then "faculties". For any further details, respectively complete information on the specializa-tions, please refer to the admission committees of the faculties that provide these specializations. The number of places – financed and tuition places – are communicated by the Minis-try and by the University subsequent to the publication of this informative brochure.
Any further alterations of the present material, provided further regulations are issued by the Ministry of National Education, respectively following the authorization of new specializations, will be promptly communicated via all avail-able means. The responsibility passes on the Admission com-mittees of the UBB faculties, the Centre for Communication and PR and the Permanent Admission Offices.

FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER
FACULTY OF PHYSICS
For high school graduates, sciences field(Specializations: Mathematics -Informatics, Natural Sciences), the admission score is calculated as follows: • 1/3 of the baccalaureate exam grade at Mathematics or Informatics (only for graduates of the Mathematics Informatics specialization) • 2/3 of the written exam grade obtained at Mathematics or Informatics or the grade obtained at the UBB Math-Informatics Competition, organized by the faculty (if the grade is at least 6).
For the other categories of graduates: • The grade of the written exam at Mathematics or Informatics or the grade obtained at the UBB Math-Informatics Competition, organized by the faculty (if the grade is at least 6).
The candidates who obtained outstanding results in specialized school competitions and Olympiads benefit from certain facilitations (details at www.cs.ubbcluj.ro)

Test-type written exam, and the admission score will be calculated using the following algorithm:
Written test will cover the subject matter established for the baccalau-reate exam for PHYSICS according to MNE regulations.
Faculty accepts school Olympiads and a range of competitions for students as a form of partial or total admission, which are available on the faculty website.
One-hour multiple choice test. For the admission exam, candidates will choose one of the three disciplines: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or Mathematics-Algebra. The test subject is elaborated according to the syllabus for these subjects and can be found at: http://chem.ubbcluj.ro/admitere/tematica.html
