MCIPL BAR BREAKAR COUPLERS Also known as connectors, bar break coupler are primarily used to simplify the design and

construc�on of reinforced concrete and reduce the amount of reinforcement required.

Bar couplers are designed to produce a full strength mechanical joint between reinforcing

bars, replacing the need for lap splices.

Of late, they are bring popularly used to join two or more machines with

great perfec�on.

Their low maintenance slim size, easy installa�on, coupled with high

corrosion resistance and rigid construc�on makes them an industry

favourite.

Our couplers are taper threaded and type 2 available as per required

specified tensile strengths of rebars.

The installa�on of these couplers is easy and requires no forging or rebar upse�ng to achieve

bar – break.

MCIPL BAR REDUCERS

Bar Reducer Couplers are also known as transi�on couplers. These are taper threaded TYPE 2

couplers.

Designed with internally threaded sleeves with two right hand threads

both of which are tapered towards the middle of the couplers. These

coupler are available in different Sizes 12mm to 40mm.

These types of couplers are primarily used to join reinforcing bars of

different diameters given that one coupler can be rotated.

This enhance their ability to achieve failure loads up to 115% of the

characteris�c strength of the smaller diameter grade 500 reinforcing bar.

MCIPL COLD FORGED SLEEVE Principles: Cold forged sleeve splice for ribbed Rebar ( Crimped Sleeve ).

By adop�ng the special pressing machine to press the coupler laterally, the steel coupler is

plas�cally deformed and combined closely with the deforma�on rebar

and therefore, the splicing of rebar is realized.

Crimper couplers do not require threading of rebars for installa�on.

These are sleeves which are joined to rebars with hydraulic grippers and

can be installed in situ in bars having minimum centre to centre splicing of 150mm.
