Expert Entrepreneurism: How to Start Business with Terrie Lloyd

Independent Business Committee

2011-07-02

Terrie Lloyd spoke to members and guests of the IBC about entrepreneurism and starting a business in Japan.

An Australian-Kiwi entrepreneur who started his first company in Japan 27 years ago, and has since established 18 companies, Mr. Lloyd is exceptional among business people in Japan for his commitment to fostering an entrepre-neurial spirit in both the foreign and Japanese com-munities.

We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Lloyd, who through events like this has helped and inspired hundreds of people to learn how to structure and run a business from its initial startup stages and beyond.

The event was a remarkable success, and we look forward to having Mr. Lloyd back soon!

ACCJ Chubu masked its tears with beers at the farewell party for Jonas Stewart of the U.S. Consulate and Allan Edwards of the Canadian Consulate. Both men have been valued supporters of the ACCJ and their next destinations will be lucky to have them. The ACCJ presented each with a Nagoya Dragons jersey so they would not forget us.
