Cada Día Spanish ­ Language Learning Tasks  How to participate ­ There are seven common, daily language activities in the Cada Día Spanish program.  Each activity is designed to be completed online, then shared with others in the course and with others who speak Spanish.  The activities may be completed in any order. They are used to develop skill for beginners, and challenge conversational skill for advanced speakers.  We want to encourage you to complete activities multiple times, to help you gain a richer understanding of the language and challenge your conversational skill.  Review the activities below, and chose one to complete this week.  After completing an activity, we may invite you to share your activity in a Google Hangout web meeting with native Spanish speakers, and share with your peers.    [Course Site] or [Enroll Free]

  Una canción para compartir   (A song to share...)  Instructions: Find a song in Spanish to share.  Find the lyrics and a translation.  Listen to the song and make three short questions to ask others about the words in the song.  Then share the song with others.  Listen to the complete instructions [How do I do it?]   Instrucciones: Busca una canción en español para compartir. Busca la letra de la canción y su traducción. Escucha la canción y escribe tres preguntas cortas para los demás sobre la letra de la canción. Luego comparte la canción con los demás. Publica tu tarea en la página web de Cada Día Spanish. [¿Cómo participar?]   Post your Song  ­  Publica tu canción

Diccionario 

Instructions: Find a Spanish word to share.  Find a sentence using the word.  Find a translation for the word and the entire sentence.  (You may need to find two sentences, if theword means many different things.)  Create three questions for others to answer about the word.  Listen to the complete instructions [How do I do it?]   Instrucciones: Busca una palabra en español para compartir y una oración con esa palabra. Busca la traducción de la palabra y de la oración completa. (Es posible que tengas que buscar dos oraciones, si la palabra tiene varios significados) Escribe tres preguntas acerca de la palabra para que los demás puedan responder. Publica tu tarea en la página web de Cada Día Spanish.  [¿Cómo lo hago?]

  Cuento corto para compartir    (Short Story to share)   Instructions: Find a Spanish story to share... or make one up.  Find a translation for the story, or translate it yourself.  (The story should be very short.)  Create three questions for others to answer about the story.  Listen to the complete instructions [How do I do it?]   Instrucciones: Busca una historia (un cuento corto) para compartir… o también puedes inventar uno. Busca la traducción del cuento o también puedes traducirlo tú mismo. (La historia debe ser muy corta). Escribe tres preguntas sobre la historia para que los demás las puedan responder. Publica tu tarea en la página web de Cada Día Spanish.  [¿Cómo Participar?]

  Verbos   (Verbs) Instructions: Share a verb and the conjugation of the verb.  You may share the present, future, Preterit perfect, Past perfect forms and uses.   Make three questions for others to answer about this verb and usage.  Listen to the complete instructions [How do I do it?]   Instrucciones: Comparte un verbo y su conjugación. Puedes compartir el tiempo presente, futuro, pretérito perfecto y sus usos. Escribe tres preguntas acerca de este verbo y sus usos para que demás las puedan responder. Publica tu tarea en la página web de Cada Día Spanish.[¿Cómo Participar?]

  Consejos para la conversación   (Conversation tips...)   Instructions: Share a conversation tip.  It may be something you read in a text book, or you understand from another course you are taking.  Help others understand how to use the conversation tip.  Make three questions for others to answer about this tip.  Listen to the complete instructions [How do I do it?]   Instrucciones: Comparte un consejo para la conversación. Puede ser algo que hayas leído en un libro de texto o que hayas aprendido en otro curso que estés tomando. Ayuda a los demás a entender cómo usar el secreto de la conversación. Escribe una breve conversación entre tú y un amigo. Habla con él acerca de los “Consejos para la Conversación” que hayas leído en un libro de texto o que hayas aprendido en otro curso que estés tomando. Ayuda a los demás a entender cómo usar los “Consejos para la Conversación”.  [¿Cómo participar?]

  Viajes    (Travels)   Instructions: Share a trip you have taken or a trip that you would like to take.  Share photos and describe what you did or would like to do.  Make a slide show or share photos on a Google Map. Listen to the complete instructions [How do I do it?]   Instrucciones: Comparte un viaje que hayas hecho o que te gustaría hacer. Comparte fotos y describe lo que hiciste o lo que te gustaría hacer. También puedes compartir tu viaje creando una presentación con imágenes o añadiendo fotos a Google Maps. Comparte la presentación o el mapa de Google en Cada Día Spanish.  [¿Cómo participar?]   Share your trip by adding photos to Google Maps.  Share your Map with CadaDiaSpanish.

  Familia  (Actividad avanzada)   Instrucciones: Cuéntanos sobre tu familia y amigos. Ayuda a los demás a entender tu relación con esa persona, comparte una imagen y algo especial sobre esa persona, haz algunas preguntas para que los demás las respondan y prepárate para responder preguntas de los profesores sobre tu familia.  [¿Cómo participar?]   Este es un ejemplo:
