Thank you for your interest in California Crosspoint High School. Your child’s education and

training are very important to us and we want to assist you in making the right choice. Every school

is different and not every learning environment is best suited for every child. California Crosspoint

High School offers an excellent and comprehensive college-preparatory academic program in a

highly structured but supportive learning community. We encourage you to visit many schools and

to ask a lot of questions. Be sure you pick the school that is the best match for your child. California Crosspoint High School is neither elitist nor exclusive in its admissions policy. Our

ministry goal is to develop each student’s God-given potential to the fullest. We desire to help all

students who can benefit from our educational program. Students are admitted without regard to race,

color, religion, and national or ethnic origin. As a private, religious school, we reserve the right to

make admissions decisions in accordance with our religious beliefs and mission.

The submission of an application begins the admissions process. Each application is reviewed by the

registrar for completeness and submitted to school administration for consideration. The school

administrators carefully examine each application and determine what action to take in accordance

with God’s Will, the school’s mission, and ministry impact. Some of the factors that are weighed

include:

church/school connection (children of Bay Area Chinese Bible Church members, siblings of

current students, and children of staff or alumni have priority),

prior academic performance,

conduct, discipline, and maturity,

student’s parent and family support structure,

church and religious background, and

time of application.

If you have special facts or circumstances in the areas listed above that the school should consider

with your application, please include a separate, detailed explanation. You may fill in the form

Instructions for Foreign Applicants Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in California Crosspoint High School. Admission into CCHS is

dependent on many factors, including:

Strong, moral character and mature behavior

Academic excellence

English-language proficiency

Ability to work independently

Please follow these instructions carefully to insure that your application is processed without delay.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Be sure you meet the minimum eligibility requirements: (meeting the minimum requirements

does not guarantee admission, only that your application will be considered)

Grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or above, or 80 and above out of 100.

Not more than two years older than his/her grade level.

2. Submit the Application, Supplemental Application, and all requested documents：

12 pages of the CCHS application

Confidential Student Assessment (with current school’s seal)

Letter(s) of recommendation (in Chinese and English)

Report cards/transcripts for the prior 3 years of school

Authorization to Release Information (with signatures)

A hand-written essay by the student on “Why I wish to come to the United States for

school”

A copy of student’s passport and a family picture

3. If CCHS is interested in finding out more information about this applicant, a date and time

for interview and testing will be scheduled as soon as possible. The Administration will make

an admission and placement decision after the interview and testing is completed.

4. Once the student is accepted, an acceptance letter and tuition and fee structure will be sent to

the parents and the third party individual. We require the annual tuition and fees to be

prepaid (refundable if the student is unsuccessful getting a Visa), plus a nonrefundable I-20

processing fee of $500 and administrative fee $650.

5. I-20 will be issued to the student once the payment is received. I-20 packet with all the

enrollment information will be mailed to the address provided by the parents. At the same

time, parents may schedule an interview with American Embassy in China.

PROGRAM RULES FOR STUDENTS

General Rules 总则

The student is expected to exhibit positive character and behavior at all times, including

trustworthiness, responsibility, respectfulness, caring, fairness, and excellent citizenship representing

their home country.

学生在任何时候都要积极向上，行为端正，体现在可信赖、有责任心、尊重他人、有关怀心、有主人翁意识以及公平公

Disruptive behavior including swearing, misbehavior in class and on outings, pranks, and other unruly

conduct will not be permitted. The student will follow school dress codes, use appropriate language and respect the rights of others at school and at home.

禁止一切捣乱行为，包括爆粗口、在班上和课外时粗鲁的举止、恶作剧以及类似的行为。学生穿着要得体，无论是在校

Respect and obedience are extremely important at all times. The student is to be respectful of all school rules, school personnel, and school property. Any repair fees due to damage of school property is the sole responsibility of the student and parents.

The student will make every effort to improve his or her English ability by getting involved at school

The student may not operate a motorized vehicle unless he or she has a valid United States license. A

The student’s acceptance into the school does not guarantee:

Parents give the school the right to use student’s photograph and video clips for the purposes of

The school reserves the right to terminate I-20 of any student whose conduct is considered

Laws of the U.S. 美国法律

The student must obey the laws of the United States. Students, who are found guilty of breaking any law will be required to return home immediately at the expense of the parents. 学生应该遵守美国的法律。学生如果违反了法律被定罪，学生要被遣送回国，所有费用由学生的家长承担。

Students are not permitted to drink any alcoholic beverages, even if they are over 21 years of age, the

legal age to drink in the U.S. In addition, the student may not be associated with or remain in the presence of others who are drinking alcoholic beverages. 学生禁止饮用任何酒精类饮料。即使学生已超过21岁，达到了在美国合法饮酒的年龄。另外，学生不可与饮用酒类的

Students are not to use any type of drugs while in the United States, other than those prescribed by a doctor or those bought over the counter. Students must adhere to the school’s policy on taking prescription medicines on campus. 学生在美国期间，不能使用任何药剂毒品，除非是医生开出的处方类药品，或者在商店里出售的非处方药品。学生在校

Smoking and the use of any tobacco products are forbidden. Not only is it illegal in most U.S. states

Health 健康

The student must have insurance that provides emergency health, medical, and accident coverage for injury and illness, including emergency visitation expenses. Proof of insurance must be presented

physical appearance such as, getting a new tattoo or body piercing. Students with existing tattoos or piercings must abide by the school’s policies.

Finances 经济预算

The family must provide proof of financial ability to pay for all school tuition and fees. Parents must

pay all tuition and fees. The student should bring enough money or have a debit card to cover smaller expenses that arise during the school year. Such funds will cover: 家庭必须出示有能力支付学费和其他费用的经济实力证明。家长有义务支付学生留学期间的学费和其他一切开销。在校

At the end of the school year, the student must return home within 5 days of the last day of school, be

enrolled in the school’s summer school program. The school does not guarantee host families during the summer but with enough notice may be able to locate one. 在一学年结束后的5天内，学生要么返回自己的国家，要么报名参加学校的暑期班课程。除非有提前申请以及我们的安

Consequences of Violation 违规的后果:

If a student is found in violation of the actions listed above and receives disciplinary action issued through the

review process, parents and guardians will be notified. The student may be sent home at the parents’ expense, and may be suspended from any future enrollment in the school.

如果发现学生违反了以上列举的一些行为，并且核实后受到了处分，我们会通报学生的家长和监护人。学生可能被退学，

家长负责费用，学生的违规行为也有可能会中止将来一切相关的入学事宜。

My parents and I have read the above rules for the school and agree to comply. I acknowledge that the failure to abide by the rules may result in the termination of my enrollment at the school and being sent home. All costs due to early termination of enrollment are the sole responsibility of my parents and I. We do not hold the guardians or the school responsible for any injury, loss of personal property, or any other obligation.

High School any and all academic records, progress reports, disciplinary, medical or psychological

reports, and other information related to my child’s academic and school life, without giving me prior

notice of such disclosure.

In addition, I hereby release the California Crosspoint High School, my child’s former school and

their staff, references and all other parties from any and all claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of

or in any way related to such investigation or disclosure.

I waive the right to ever personally view any references given to California Crosspoint High School.
