CALL FOR OFFICIALS

31st National Selection Conference

Thursday, 11 February 2015

Dear EYP Alumni,

the European Youth Parliament Greece is proud to open the Call for Officials for its 31st

National Selection Conference.

The Session will be held in the city of Athens from the 3rd to the 5th of April under the theme

of “Why Europe? Redefining the European mosaic” and presided by Ms Sophie Duffield (UK)

and head-organised by Mr Panagiotis Patikos and Ms Tatiana Robotis.

We are now looking for 3 Vice-Presidents, 17 Chairpersons, 1–2 Editors, 1 Video Editor, 1

Editorial Assistant, 10 Journalists and 16 Organisers to join the Officials’ Team.

The Session will be attended by 120 delegates from Athens and its suburbs, who will be

allocated in 10 committees and will participate in one day of Teambuilding, one day of

Committee Work and one day of General Assembly. All Officials will take part in one day of

CJOs’ Teambuilding & Training prior to the session (2 April 2015).

There is no participation fee for International Officials. The participation fee for Greek

Officials, except for the organisers, is set at 10,- €. Travel expenses to and from the session

should be covered by the participants.

Officials are expected to arrive in Athens by the morning of Thursday, 2 April 2015, in order

to take part in the Officials’ Teambuilding & Training. Departures may take place on Sunday,

5 April 2015, from 21:00 onwards.

23:59 CET, for those applying as Vice-Presidents, Chairpersons, Editors and Organisers and

by Wednesday, 25 February 2015, 23:59 CET, for those applying as Editorial Assistants,

Video Editors and Journalists. All applicants will be individually informed about the

outcome of their application once the selection process is concluded.

The selection panel for the Chairs’ Team of the Session will consist of the President of the

Session (Mrs Sophie Duffield), the Head Organisers (Mr Panagiotis Patikos and Mrs Tatiana

Robotis) and the President of the Executive Board of EYP Greece (Mrs Evanthia Kasiora).

The selection panel for the Media Team of the Session will consist of the Editor(s) of the

Session (to be selected), the Head Organisers (Mr Panagiotis Patikos and Mrs Tatiana

Robotis) and Mrs Danae Tselou, Member of the Executive Board of EYP Greece.

The selection panel for the Organising Team will consist of the Organising Commission of

the Session, comprised of Mr Panagiotis Patikos, Mrs Tatiana Robotis, Mrs Eva Gouda and

Mrs Emy Mylona on behalf of the Executive Board of EYP Greece.
