Calvin Yongshan Liu

Profile 个人简介: Calvin Liu, started news video production in London from 2012 which mainly for BBC UKCHINA and BBC CHINESE websites. After one year’s work experience of news production, she started to focus on documentary production, specializing in subjects of social issue and feature story. In 2013, she participated in the pre-production of selected documentary <Chinese Designers> by CCTV9. In 2014, she took part in the pre-production and shooting of 6 episodes’ documentary by Travel Channel <Xing Zhe>, and worked as the chief producer of another 6 episodes documentary that subjects on social issues between Mainland China and Hong Kong. In 2015, she worked as the Production Manager for her first feature film called <The Receptionist>. In 2016, she worked as the coordinated curator for the Macao International Documentary Film Festival, and from then on different international documentary festivals have commissioned her as a film critic. I am always good at discovering the valuable subjects around me and writing scripts. Strong sense of logical and story line development ability contributes a lot to my documentary work. Years of filming and producing experience makes me a sociable person with the characters I film, we easily become friends. In 2011, she obtained the master degree of University of Surrey in multi-media management. 刘咏珊，独立制片人及策划人。于 2011年英国萨里大学多媒体管理专业硕士毕业後，在 2012年初开始在伦敦从事新闻片的拍摄工作，主要服务于 BBC 英伦网和 BBC中文网。积累了一年多的新闻工作者经验后，她开始专注纪录片制作，擅长社会题材及人物

片电影节的筹备工作，并受任于多个纪录片影展作为影评人撰稿，拥有丰富的国内外纪

录片资源。擅长发掘身边值得关注的题材和脚本写作，具有很强的逻辑性和故事写作能力。有丰富

的现场拍摄及制片经验，乐于与被拍摄者交流，发掘他们故事背后不易被发现的特点，

因为热爱交友，常常会与众多被拍摄者成为朋友。
