• The focal region of the earthquake was extremely extensive. It reached approximately 500km from north to south, and approximately 200km from east to west.

Tsunami

• By this earthquake, massive tsunamis more than 10 meters were generated and brought crushing damage in the coast of Pacific of the Tohoku district.

• On June 11, three months passed from earthquake disaster outbreak. However, 88,000 people still continue life as an evacuee, and the severe situation continues.
