building a solid ceiling in which down lighters can be inserted by an electrician

Commercial Pay Back and value• In a 5 mile radius of chard there is one commercial venture that allows business to

hire a presentable room to hire for meetings. At the time of writing this was £165 per day for the room only.

• Village halls are available for community groups to hire these cost about £10 per hour.

• We believe that if the room is charged out at £12 per hour given is central position it would be a steady revenue and if local community groups are encouraged to use they can also bring grant funding into the Club.

• On match days we believe having a clean bright family area will encourage more families to come and watch the game and stay around longer after the final whistle. The gate would see a rise in revenue and the bar would see more going through the till. On alcoholic drinks through the bar there should be 40% profit this increases to around 50% on soft drinks.

• At this time the club is not being fully used during match days for sponsors events, we believe that there would be a bigger uptake in a room that is brighter and more open.
