people from Charité University. This visit to WHS would not have succeeded without the

help and work of Dr. NIN. He earned his medical license in Germany and he also earned his Japanese National Medical License. He was the moderator for Juntendo University. He has many friends in Germany, including his good old friend Professor Erick KNOP of Charité University. The contri-butions of Dr. NIN and Professor KNOP were essential to achieve the goals of this visit.

Finally, Juntendo University would like to thank the Min-istry of Foreign Affairs and CEO OGAWA for their efforts and arrangements. CEO OGAWA’s arrangements were of great help to the Japanese Embassy in Germany and Chari-té University. Juntendo University received warm welcomes throughout the visit. During the visit Juntendo University realized that Charité University is surely one of the universi-ties that can contribute to Juntendo University’s younger gen-eration’s international education. Juntendo University truly wishes that the relationship between the two universities will become stronger.
