The idea o f museum and the exh ib i t ion experience should be raised in connection with the culture in the city. Hence it is essential for cultural infrastructure to be able to invite ambient users to participate in different cultural events.

We want a project which configures gradually an important scenario for New Taipei city’s citizens, because by doing this, we will guarantee

a successful operation for many years, which will increase its value as it becomes part of users heritage. Thus we combine different programs with exhibition space to conform social and cultural life, fitting the proposal into the city.

In our scheme , the re lat ionsh ip between environment and people is intimate by designing a double spiral space which doesn’t only keep the flexibility and variety of exhibition space but

also could create a new exhibition experience. The court yard formed by the spiral space provides natural day-lighting for exhibition space and also an open public space for citizens. Furthermore, we combine the landscape, art resource center and art arcade shops which essential ly makes the museum become a “ people’s art museum”.

This proposed mix-use development in Camden transforms two exist ing warehouse bui ld ings by reconfiguring the internal space and adding dramatic ‘sky box’ extensions to each building. A triangular 12-storey residential tower replaces the petrol station currently located on the site. The existing underused green space to the south will to be transformed into a more inviting and better connected public open space.

New construct ion scheme mainly including structural glazing construction for the roof of the artificial trees and Yi-Lan city train station plaza.

It is an urban-scale project, but most issues about city are settled before I undertook the project. The main concern is the detailing of the glazing roof. How to install the complicated structural glass, how to design the drainge for the roof and how to maintain the glass in the future etc. are practical issues which would affect the budget and design greatly.
