    Step-by-step methodStanding dog:1. Sew each body part.2. Stuff cotton inside the head, body,

    and legs.3. Attach eyes on the head.4. Attach the nose on the mouth and

    stuff cotton in it.5. Attach the mouth to the head by

    rolled darning.6. Sew the last row of the body with the

    remaining thread, tie and knot.7. Sew the last row of the head with the

    remaining thread, tie lightly, and sew the body by rolled darning.

    8. Attach the legs to the body by rolled darning.

    9. Attach the ears to the head and the tail to the body by rolled darning.

    Seated dog:15. Same as above.6. Sew the last row of the head with the

    remaining thread, tie and knot, then sew the body to the side of the head by rolled darning.

    7. Follow steps 8 and 9 above.

    Use the same plain-colored thread used in the Japanese Shiba for the seated dogs body and legs.
