A 20-inch wide Coilmount conveyor handling wood chips. Installedon upper floor of building, the conveyor has a spring mounted andcounterweighted base to isolate vibration from building structure.
Syntron Coilmount Oscillating Conveyors are ideally suited toconvey a variety of materials including granular, free-flowingmaterials, fragile or sticky materials, and abra-
sive materials such as ores, sand, castings and scrap metal.
Coilmount Vibrating Conveyors
Coilmount vibrating conveyors
Ruggedly constructed to providereliable and economical service, the units can also be modified tosuit specific scalping, cooling, heat-ing and drying processes. TheCoilmount handles large capacitiesof low- to high-density materials.
Coilmount conveyors can bequickly and easily installed onconcrete foundations or on struc-tures near grade level. These con-veyors are available in standardsizes of 10-inch and 20-inch widthswith 6-inch deep troughs. A 12-inch deep trough is also available.Coilmount conveyors are con-structed of either 10 gauge or3/16-inch mild or stainless steel. Inaddition, flanged troughs can be
made of special materials. A vari-ety of liner materials are availablefor handling corrosive or abrasivematerials. Troughs can also be fur-nished with covers which attachwith bolts or quick-acting fasten-ers. Installing gaskets between thecover and trough creates a seal fordust-tight or weather-tight applica-tions. Inlet spouts and exhaustvents can also be provided to meet
specific conveying processes.

trough assemblyThe conveyor trough is supportedby rubber-bushed aluminum stabi-
lizer legs. Heavy-duty coil springsare used as a restoring energy sys-tem, providing reduced powerconsumption at operating speed.Single-spring reactor systems arefurnished for 10-inch widths, anddouble-spring reactor systems areused on 20-inch widths.

Type A and B Coilmountdrive
The Coilmount conveyors positivedrive system has heavy-duty spheri-cal roller bearings, a cast steel con-necting arm, and a rubber-bushedor bronze wrist pin assembly, which is securely locked to the con-veyor pan with taper lock bushings. This drive system maintains posi-tive action regardless of load condi-tions. Drives are positioned eitherat the conveyor feed end as an end
drive or along the conveyor lengthas an intermediate drive.
For the intermediate drive, option-al motor and motor supports areindependent of the conveyor baseand can be purchased with the unit.Motors for intermediate drives canbe mounted on either the left-handor right-hand side of the conveyor.
Type A Coilmount single drivefor conveyor model 2500.
Type A Coilmount double drivefor conveyor model 3500.

To determine the required material travel speed fromCapacity Chart E, intersect conveyor capacity in tons
per hour with material weight in pounds per cubic foot.
Type B Coilmount Conveyor Capacities
To determine the correct motor horsepower fromDrive Selection Chart F, intersect conveyorcapacity in tons per hour with the required lengthof the conveyor.
Coilmount conveyors can be installed at inclines of up to 15degrees, depending on the characteristics of the material beinghandled.
