VI. CLASS READING PROFILE:

The graph shows the class reading profile of the enrolled pupils in four consecutive years.

The graph reveals that there is a greater percentage in the Frustration Level as far as the reading level is

concerned. This shows that the pupils are not yet equipped with the Reading Skills and needs an extra

effort to enhance the reading disabilities for them to improve and become good readers.

VII. ACHIEVEMENT/ GENERAL ASSESSMENT:

With my three years teaching experience in Grade one, I can say that it takes a lot of patience in handling

the pupils who have no experience at all with regards to reading readiness. It needs really a lot of preparation and

adjustments on the part of the teacher in order to achieve the goal which is “To become every learner a Reader.”

Generally Speaking , the Grade one pupils with the commitment and patience of the teacher as well the support

and guidance of the parents still cope with the demands and standards and surpass all the requirements before

they will be promoted to the next grade.
