Palletisation for wire-cutting EDM

Palletisation for wire-cutting EDM speeds up and streamline the production process, by clamping and centring the workpieces out of the wire-cutting machine – on pre-setting workplace PO-M0010E resp. PO-3M0010. Wire-cutting EDM can machining workpiece while is another workpiece clamping and centring on pre-setting table, what eliminates time losses during clamping and centring the workpiece directly in the wire-cutting EDM. Clamping chucks on pre-setting workplace and in the wire-cutting EDM are alignment with calibration block PO-N0006. Repeating clamping accuracy of both clamping chucks is ≤0,002mm. Workpiece is first clamped into the most appropriate clamp (vise, fixing plates, prism holder ...) which is mounted on 3D micro-adjusting head W80AE. Such complete set - pallet (workpiece clamped in appropriate clamp and mounted on 3D micro-adjusting head), is clamped into manual quick chuck on pre-setting workplace. Simple turning with 3 screws on micro-adjusting head W80AE allows quick centring of workpiece. The workpiece level is checked with lever indicator with fine dividing segments 0,002mm, which is part of pre-setting workplace. Pallet of clamps with centred workpiece is clamped off from the pre-setting workplace and moved to the manual quick chuck Q128E in the wire-cutting EDM. Now it is not necessary centring the workpiece into wire-cutting machine and operator can start the cutting process immediately after inserting the pallet into wire-cutting EDM. Operator can centring another workpiece on pre-setting workplace while is wire-cutting machine into operation, what increasing the usage of wire-cutting EDM. Alignment of manual quick chucks on pre-setting workplace and in the wire-cutting EDM

Clamping systems compatible with EROW.A

The following components of the palletisation clamping system enable the material for the electrode (copper, graphite etc.) to be clamped directly into the pallet or into the collet chuck holder. The material can then be machined in a machining centre, milling machine, lathe, grinding machine or EDM wire cutter etc. The finished product (the electrode), whilst still clamped into pallet or collet chuck holder, can now be clamped directly to the EDM die-sinker without the need for further adjustment of the electrode. Repeatable accuracy for the positioning of the pallets or collet chuck holders into the clamping chucks is 0,002mm.

Clamping systems compatible with 3-R

The following components of the palletisation clamping system enable the material for the electrode (copper, graphite etc.) to be clamped directly into the pallet or into the collet chuck holder. The material can then be machined in a machining centre, milling machine, lathe, grinding machine or EDM wire cutter etc. The finished product (the electrode), whilst still clamped into pallet or collet chuck holder, can now be clamped directly to the EDM die-sinker without the need for further adjustment of the electrode. Repeatable accuracy for the positioning of the pallets or collet chuck holders into the clamping chucks is 0,002mm.
