RENGØRINGSVEJLEDNING FORKOMPOSIT MATERIALER

Beskrivelse:

Solid surface material is stain-resistant, durable and very easy to main-tain. Due to the porous surface and the nearly joint-free manufacturing process, this material is easy to clean. Basic Care

Any soiled areas should be cleaned immediately or, at the latest, within 24 hours. Use a damp sponge cloth and an all-purpose cleaner. For heavy soiling, use a liquid abrasive.

You can remove calciferous build-up (limescale) with vinegar cleaners (acidic) or other commercial limescale removers.

Daily Cleaning

To remove light stains and other marks, a damp cloth or cleaning spon-ge and a mild detergent are sufficient.

For all matt finishes you can safely use a liquid abrasive (not for polis-hed surfaces!).

After using detergents, rinse with enough clean water to keep any dirt residue from remaining on the surface.

Solid Surface Material:

The Surface MaterialBasic Cleaning / Intensive Cleaning

Tougher stains caused by substances such as wine, tea, coffee, food colou-ring, fruit and vegetable juices and many other stains can easily be remo-ved with a bleaching agent (do not leave these on the surface for more than five minutes!). Afterwards, clean the surface with a commercial all-purpose cleaner and rinse with clean water.

You can easily remove nail polish with nail polish remover (without acetone) or a liquid abrasive agent.

You can also remove minor burn or nicotine stains easily with a liquid abrasive cleaner or abrasive sponge. If the finish of the surface becomes somewhat matt, you can restore the shine with a finely granulated cleaning sponge.

Tips and Tricks

When you clean a surface made with solid surface material, it is important that you avoid using cleaning agents that contain acid (for example, methy-lene chloride or acetone). If one of these products accidentally comes into contact with the surface, wash the area thoroughly with soapy water as a precaution to prevent any discoloration.

Do not place objects that come hot from the stove or oven directly onto the surface of worktops made with solid surface material; this stresses the material and cracks could appear. For this reason, you should always use a coaster. When you pour boiling liquids into solid surface sinks or basins, you should also run cold water into them at the same time.

Solid surface material is able to cope well with the demands of daily life. For long-lasting enjoyment of your worktop, we strongly recommend that you use a cutting board or similar product when cutting foods to avoid scratching the surface.
